  1. Can We See Jesus

    William BranhamJune 19, 1958at 3:24
And I want to go on record to say this, that Divine healing has been very rudely spoken of many The Spoken Word times. And the cause of that is, because it’s been handled in so many different ways. But Divine healing is a part of the Gospel, for it was included in the atonement. If the old atonement had Divine healing in it, surely, a better atonement would include Divine healing. The Bible said, “He was wounded for our transgressions, and with His stripes we were healed.” E-4 Now, I do not believe that this Divine healing means that one man has power to heal another. Now, I want you to try to listen closely. I know it’s hot, but let’s try to suffer it just for a few moments, so that we’ll get the message. And if we do not know how to approach this subject, then we’d be best that we just left it alone. For never try to halfway do anything. If you just get part of it done, but do what you do right, thoroughly and completely. For if you do not what, know what you’re approaching Christ for and how to approach Him, then you’ll miss it. Now, Divine healing is nothing that anyone can do. Divine healing is a act of faith in a finished work, that Christ finished at Calvary. No man has power to heal. Not even Jesus had power to heal. We all know that. He said, “It’s not Me that doeth the works, it’s My Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.” So if the Son of God had not power to heal at random, or in His ownself…“The Son can do nothing in Himself,” He said.
  2. The Ten Virgins, And The Hundred And Forty-Four Thousand Jews

    William BranhamDecember 11, 1960at 5:31
I usually have the boys to set some chair, if somebody feels bad while they’re waiting, call up a few at a time; they feel bad, why, just let them — let them wait there in their chair until…or sit in the chair until their number’s called, till they can be prayed for. And I do believe in Divine healing; it’s one of the great doctrines of the Bible. But Divine healing has more to it than just Divine healing. Divine healing only says that “there is a God who’s coming again.” What does Divine healing speak of? It’s the earnest of our resurrection. If there’s no Divine healing then there is no resurrection, see. And if there is no Holy Spirit now to baptize us, there is no Eternal Life in the world to come. The Bible said, “This is the earnest of our salvation.” And you know what the earnest is? Is the “down payment,” see. If you go down and pay…Say you bought a farm, they wanted ten thousand dollars for it, and you paid two thousand, that’s your “earnest” money, they call it the earnest of it. Now, if this baptism of the Holy Spirit is just the earnest on what’s coming, oh, what will it be when we — when we get the full price? It’ll be glorious!
  3. Hear Ye Him

    William BranhamDecember 15, 1956at 1:20:53
It’s God in you, the hope of glory. E-70 Now, if Christ has risen from the dead, which we know He has, then He’s got to do the same kind of works that He did before He went away or He is not risen from the dead. That’s…If He’s the same, He’s got to be the same in principle, the same in power, the same in attitude, the same in all. That’s right. Well, let’s watch just a moment. Is there any here that never was in a meeting before, let’s see your hands, some strangers? Never was in a meeting, one of my meetings before, let’s see your hand, many? E-71 Now, I want to say to you, last night we took…Tonight was evangelistic call. Friends, Divine healing is just a minor. And you can never major on a minor, as I said. Salvation of the soul is much greater than Divine healing. Divine healing was included in the new — new atonement, because the old atonement had healing in it, and the new one’s a much better (See?), than the old. If the old one could furnish healing, what about the new one? But Divine healing is not on the same basis as salvation. When you’re borned again you get an immortal spirit that cannot die. But when you’re healed by Divine healing, you will get sick and die
  4. Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever

    William BranhamJuly 18, 1962at 10:34
But really, to be a Christian is to be borned a Christian, a borned again experience to being a Christian. E-11 And now, let me just again, before I take a text, is to say we pray for the sick. Now, there may be doctors setting here. And doctor, I didn’t come to take your patients. I come to pray for your patients. See? I — I believe that Divine healing has been one of the most overlooked subjects. And then, there’s been so much also on Divine healing that has went out under the name of Divine healing, that should’ve never went out, which we realize that. In church, salvation, been much of it went out, oh, kind of a intellectual religion, that just join the church like a lodge, and let it all go. We don’t believe that. We believe you’ve got to be born again. We believe you have to be a Christian by birth. And I believe there’s many things went out under Divine healing, the auspices of Divine healing, or called that, and it would_ there would be everything else but Divine healing: all kinds of sensations, and — and so forth.
  5. The Principles Of Divine Healing

    William BranhamSeptember 23, 1951at 23:21
My, just The Principles Of Divine Healing look. My friends, this is a sick world, isn’t it? And look at the day that when we got the best medicine we ever practiced with; we got the best doctors we ever had (Do you believe that?), got the best institution hospitals, best drugs we ever practiced with; and we got more sickness than the world ever knowed. You want my analysis of it? We got more sin and unbelief than the world ever knowed. That’s just exactly the reason. Sure. E-20 Now, in speaking of Divine healing, you’re — we must approach it just as sanely as it is in the Scripture. Now, Divine healing has been misunderstood by many. Some people think that Divine healing is some sort of a (You know?) hocus pocus over people and put some kind of a — a spell on them that they get well, or something like that, or a hypnotism. That’s an error. The Bible teaches Divine healing for this present day, and Divine healing all down through the age. Now, God always had a provided way for the people to be healed. He give it in the days of the — Israel’s journey; He had the brass serpent. After the going away of the brass serpent, when people make an idol out of it, then the prophet broke up the serpent, and tore it up, threw it away. And God sent an Angel down upon a pool of water, called in the Hebrew tongue, Bethesda, at the sheep market, where they brought in the sheeps in the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. If the good Lord willing, in a few weeks be visiting this very spot where we’re speaking of.
  6. Divine Healing

    William BranhamDecember 19, 1954at 22:19
You never get nothing by arguing. Here not long ago, A. B. Neums…You know him; the man that died last week. He was going over me, just raking me over the The Spoken Word coals and things about Divine healing. Brother Neums was a good man, I trust in glory today with the other saints of God, shouting the victory. Now, what attitude he taken towards Divine healing, I don’t care if every preacher, pope, and everything else would raise up and condemn Divine healing, tomorrow I’ll be preaching Divine healing. That’s right. See? Because why? It’s in the Word. It’s God’s Word. It’s what God said. It ain’t…I’m responsible for what God said. I’m responsible as a minister to preach what God said and call it the truth. I was going over to get Brother Boze. I turned on the radio. I like to hear Brother Neums; he’s a good preacher. And I went over to hear him. And on the road over, oh, my, he was raking Divine healing as fanaticism, and devils, and everything else. And he said, “For instance, the Bosworth brothers…” He said, “When I was…they…I was with them when they was in their best, when they were young men, just both kids.” And said, “They both died, nothing but boys.” Said, “If there’d be anything of Divine healing, what about that?” I thought, “Oh, Brother Neums, my…” He said, “Aimee McPherson died, nothing but a girl (See?), just a young kid.” And Aimee was an old woman when she died.
  7. Balm In Gilead

    William BranhamJune 14, 1959at 1:05:58
Now, you just look to Him. E-53 Remember, I’m your brother. There’s not one thing about me could heal. I’m just a man. I have no powers to heal. No other man has any power to heal. There’s no such a thing as a Divine healer. But there’s no such a thing as any kind of healing besides Divine healing. God is the only One Who can create, and you cannot heal without creating. When you break your arm, the doctor don’t claim to heal your arm; he sets your arm. God heals it. See? God…The doctor can remove a growth, but the — God has to create the cells to heal it back. Medicine does not heal. It only assists nature; God is the Creator Who creates. So there’s no other healing but Divine healing. When people say that there is no Divine healing, they just got the thing turned right around. There’s no other healing but Divine healing. God said, “I’m the Lord thy God Who heals all of thy diseases.” His Words cannot fail.
  8. Be Not Afraid

    William BranhamFebruary 24, 1961at 1:32:36
Now, He promised the same works, especially in this age. E-80 Now, if — if you were sick and I said, “I have a gift of Divine healing.” A gift of Divine healing is nothing but faith in Divine healing. That’s all it is: have faith. Everybody have faith in Divine healing has a gift of Divine healing, ‘cause that’s all it is. Now, that don’t make them a Divine Healer no more than it makes the man that believes in salvation a — a Divine Saviour. See? It just…He believes in it. I believe in it too, but I’m not a gifted person like some of the men, like Jack Coe, and many of them brethren was, just real…I guess they…God deals with them in their ways, and Brother Roberts in his ways, and me with my way. We just got ministries. That’s all. E-81 God set in the church: apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors. That’s all. Then them nine spiritual gifts in the church. You say, “Brother Branham, what are you trying to do?” I’m trying to contact your spirit. Jesus sent me to this city. I was led here. Now, here’s a woman. by having a number on her prayer card way up in the — I forget where I called — 50 or 75 or somewhere around. I forgot where it was. You just happened to be that woman standing here. All right. Now, not knowing one another. Now, what I am trying to do? Contact your spirit. And if the Lord God…If I said I had a gift of healing, laid my hands on you, and say, “Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. You’re going to get well.” That’d be all right. Go believe it, you’d get well. I believe it. God will honor your faith.
  9. Be Not Afraid, It Is I

    William BranhamApril 14, 1961at 1:15:31
Then he begins to blow his poison breath, saying, “And the days of miracles is past.” E-60 He begins to whip the little boat from side to side. “Is it real? Could it be real? Maybe we’ve been wrong. Maybe our fathers, who said to receive the Holy Ghost, maybe it’s wrong. Wesley could’ve been a little out of his head. Luther could’ve been wrong also.” Knox, Calvin, all those fellows, and John Wesley, preached Divine healing, and believed in Divine healing, and practiced Divine healing. Every time we ever had a revival any time through the history it started with Divine healing. That’s right. See if Luther didn’t heal. The rest of them, all the way down, practiced Divine healing. Then they organized it, and then the winds begin to blow; Be Not Afraid, It Is I ‘cause when you organize it you go off without Him, and you got your own theology then. See? If you’d make your doctrine and end it with a comma: “We believe this, plus as much as that God will reveal to me.” That’s all — all right. But when you write up your doctrine, you end it with a period. “We believe this and that only.” Then you’ve shut God plumb out of the thing. That’s right. God just keeps moving on. He just moves.
  10. God's Provided Way Of Healing

    William BranhamJuly 19, 1954at 23:56
What you have to do is know Jesus, and Christ giving you the ability, by the Holy Spirit, to do such. E-19 Now, Divine healing is on the same basis. There’s some people who can actually believe in Divine healing, and pray for Divine healing, but never be able to touch Divine healing, because they just can’t do it. It’s not given to them. Now, there’s such a…I notice the people on the platform. Many times before the Spirit catches me away till the anointing so great, till they’d have to lead me out… Now, when I’m looking at the person, some of them come, and there’s many times that I see things I don’t say nothing about. I try to just say enough to get the people’s faith; I see I’ve caught their attention like that, and then pray for them, in order to get a hold of another. More you talk, why, more it would come, just constantly it just…You’re just in that channel then, and it just keeps rolling down. And so then, in teaching Divine healing and seeing people come, they say, “Oh yes, brother, I have faith.” Now, they imagine they have faith. See? They don’t have faith.
  11. Demonology, Physical Realm

    William BranhamJune 8, 1953at 45:06
The — the operation that the doctor would’ve taken from you, that same growth is laying in you with no life in it. You say, “Life in it, Brother Branham, will it take my life?” No, sir. That life is a separate life from yours. I’ve just showed you that you are a life and become a being, and it’s a life and becomes a being. And you’re of God, and it’s of the devil. You see what I mean? Demonology. Now, you ought to see what that thing looks like when you stand and look at it. Oh, my, I’m sorry, it’s almost three-thirty. I’m sorry. Look, friends. Oh, what this world needs. I’ve been about seven years teaching across America, having these healing services. I just got a good notion, starting back across the country teaching the Bible and on demonology, how the people can understand what to do. And that’s the reason they go to these meetings a lot of times and fellow…If you don’t understand, the people come out…And many times…Now, remember, that fellow that come and said he had a gift of Divine healing…The gift of Divine healing was in you if you got healed. It’s you, the one. Any gift operates by faith. And no matter how much gift of Divine healing I got, I believe it with all my heart. But you could stand here and, if you haven’t got the same kind of faith, it don’t do you no good. I could pray for you for hours and weeks and months. It isn’t the preachers with the Divine healing; it’s you that’s got the gift of Divine healing, that believes in being healed, ‘cause it’s by faith. By faith…Every operation of God is by faith.
  12. Sirs, We Would See Jesus

    William BranhamJanuary 9, 1960at 7:31
“He was wounded for our transgressions, and with His stripes we were healed.” E-6 Now tonight, we’re going to speak on Divine healing and pray for the sick. Now, I am not a Divine healer; I don’t believe there is such a person on this earth. I believe that there’s people who preach and practice Divine healing, but I do not believe that there is a Divine healer. If that’s so, then the Scripture’s wrong. For in Psalms 103, David said, “Bless the Lord, O my soul…Who forgiveth all of thine iniquity; Who healeth all of thy diseases.” And if Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, and with His stripes we were…Did you notice the quotation? Past tense. “Was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes were…” Was and were (past tense), already healed… E-7 Now, we think that the gift a persons…Divine healing is based upon, not the merits of your salvation, or your church affiliation, or your standing, which is very, very fine. But the — the merits…Divine healing is based upon the merits of your faith. “If thou canst believe…” And surely if we can place enough faith in God to raise this body up from just a little spoonful of ashes off of the earth, surely we could trust Him to patch up these bodies to live for Him in. I believe it is the — the — what we would call, “the earnest.” We have now the Holy Spirit, which is the Earnest of our salvation, our eternal hope. Then we have Divine healing as the earnest (or the down payment) to prove that it belongs to us, of the resurrection, that our bodies will be raised up.
  13. Witnesses

    William BranhamOctober 4, 1956at 26:22
He said, “Therefore, you see William Branham is false.” E-19 I called him up long distance, and I said, “Sir, I want to ask you something. If a man had pneumonia tonight, and the doctors come and could give him no hope, give him some penicillin. Tomorrow he comes back, and finds out he is well on his road to recovery. In two or three days from now, the man has passed a physical examination The Spoken Word that he’s perfectly normal, no symptoms at all. He goes out and works for two years. Again takes pneumonia and dies. Was the man healed at the first place?” I said, “You don’t class Divine healing. Where you get your mistake, you tried to put Divine healing on the same basis as salvation. You can’t do that, because when you are borned again, you are forever a new creature. You become absolutely borned again a new creature, but when you’re healed you’re not a new body, but the Holy Spirit living in here, the old covenant providing Divine healing, and we have a better covenant and Divine healing was included or provided for in the Atonement.” So I said, “Of course, Lazarus was raised from the dead and died again, but Divine healing is one of the benefits that we enjoy by being Christians.” David said, “Forget not all His benefits, Who forgives all thine iniquity, Who heals all of thy diseases.” It’s the benefits that we draw from God by being a believer.
  14. Stand Still

    William BranhamMay 18, 1957at 1:57:35
I ask for hearing in this ear, in the Name of Jesus Christ. E-105 Now, with your heads bowed. This ear? This is the one that’s deaf. All right. Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now? All right, you may raise your head. Now, watch here. I take my thumb, the wide of my thumb, place it on the lady’s ear, press it in. Do you hear me, lady? Say, “Amen.” I love the Lord. It’s all right. Your arthritis gone too. You’re well. Let’s say, “Praise the Lord.” [Congregation says, “Praise the Lord.”_Ed.] The Spoken Word E-106 Now, what’s God permitting here tonight? The deaf, the dumb, the speech, the sight, the crippled, what’s He doing it for? You see, the Pharisee’s knew, or they believed because He could discern their thoughts, they said, “He’s Beelzebub.” But they couldn’t understand how He could heal. That’s it. For there is no healing outside of God. How many knows that? Let me say tonight this — this in a moment, before going with the prayer line further. There is no other healing in the world but Divine healing. And I ask any doctor to prove that there’s any other healing besides Divine healing. People hollering, “A gift of Divine healing.” There is no other healing but Divine healing. What if you break your arm? What does the doctor do? Heal it? He sets it; God heals it. If there…He can move an obstruction. What if you got a tumor? He can cut it out, but who does the healing? Show me a medicine that will develop cells, and you could pour it in a pan and make a man out of it. God is the only One can heal.
  15. Abraham

    William BranhamDecember 8, 1956at 58:34
It’s fantastics, and the devil in the world today like Jannes and Abraham Jambres withstood Moses such…That’s not in the Bible. There’s no such as that. If God wanted you to pour out oil, He’d made you a Texas oil well, or an olive tree, or something. But He made you a human being to preach the Gospel and to bring the Message to the people of the salvation of the finished work of Jesus Christ. Amen. That might be strong, but it’s the truth. I’d rather be honest here and tell you the truth than have to answer for it at the day of judgment for you. That’s right. E-47 Now, healing belongs alone in God. It’s the finished work of Christ at Calvary. Don’t forget that, church, whatever you do. And every blessing that’s in everything that you lost in the fall, Christ redeemed back to you at Calvary. It’s been finished two thousand years ago. Every person was ever healed, every person was ever saved was saved when Jesus died at the Cross and finished the work. He screamed to the Father, “It’s finished.” All of it, the complete plan of salvation, and now we have the earnest of our salvation. Now, Divine healing is not on the same basis as salvation. Divine healing was included in the Atonement, truly. The old atonement had Divine healing, and the new one is a much better than the old one. So if it’s better, it’s got to be better in every way, but Divine healing…Salvation of the soul and you become a new creature — Eternal Life. You don’t have eternal health by healing, but it’s an attribute. It’s — it’s the earnest of your resurrection. If there’s no Divine healing, then there is no resurrection. See? But now, what is it?
  16. Expectation

    William BranhamFebruary 20, 1954at 42:24
In other words… E-42 Here, I read sometime ago where a little boy eat the eraser off of a pencil, and he’d eat the — and eat the pedal off of a bicycle, a rubber pedal. And they couldn’t understand why the little fellow was eating rubber all the time. So they took him down to the clinic and examined him, and the doctor said, “Why, his little body’s craving sulfur.” There you are. See? Now, the little boy was taken out of the earth, where sulfur is, and as long as there was a crave for sulfur in here, there had to be a sulfur to respond to that crave. See? Expectation Now, how many in here believes in Divine healing? Let’s see your hand. The power of God? Thank you. Look. Before there can be a creation, there has to be a Creator to create that creation. Is that right? Well, as long as you’re hungering for Divine healing and the power of God, there’s got to be a Fountain open somewhere. Is that right? If there isn’t Divine healing, you wouldn’t have that in your heart. The Creator God has to create that in your heart before you can even think of such a thing. Hallelujah. Then you want more of God; you hunger for more of God. And because that you do hunger is a very fine evidence that there is more of God to receive. And if you crave Divine healing, that shows that there is a Fountain of Divine healing somewhere or that creation wouldn’t be in your heart. You get what I mean?
  17. Fellowship With God Through Reconciliation

    William BranhamJanuary 20, 1956at 49:54
Then God, by the Holy Ghost, takes you into fellowship with Him, and then you talk with the Father again, like father Adam did in the beginning. E-50 Then, of course you’ll believe Divine healing. Divine healing is nothing but an attribute of sin. Before we had any sin, we didn’t have any sickness. Sickness is the results of sin. And you can’t deal with sin without dealing with sickness. A fine scholar said to me, not long ago, said, “Brother Branham, you believe that Divine healing was in the atonement?” I said, “I couldn’t preach it if it wasn’t.” He said, “Then if Divine healing was in the atonement, there’d be no more pain.” I said, “My brother, do you believe there’s temptation?” “Sure, there’s temptation.” “Then if there’s temptation, they can be pain.” Certainly they can, certainly. It’s up to you, whether your personal faith in God that does it.
  18. Discerning The Body Of The Lord

    William BranhamAugust 12, 1959at 2:48
And he knew that all sicknesses and diseases was under the control of the Lord Jesus; therefore, He didn’t have to come lay hands on the servant; “Just speak the Word and my servant will live.” The Spoken Word And Jesus marveled, and He said, “I’ve not found faith like that in Israel.” So I would sure hope that I live to see the day when we Americans will have that kind of faith. “Just speak the Word, Lord, and my servant will live.” Oh, it’ll be a great day. 2-2 Now, we are…Sometimes when the anointing is very heavy, if sometimes I don’t get a chance to make the altar call, some of the other brethren, Brother Sullivan or some of my noble brethren here will take care of that. Someone might say that we were just featuring Divine healing. Divine healing is just like going fishing. You never show the fish the hook; you just show him the bait, and he grabs the bait and gets the hook. So that’s the way it is with Divine healing. It’s attractive, because it — it demonstrates and proves that there is a God that lives and is interested in you. And the unbelievers see that. Quickly his eye catches it and knows there is a living God, and then he’s on the line of salvation then. God can go to controlling him then and winding him in. So that’s what Divine healing is for, merely for that sake.
  19. Faith Once Delivered To The Saints

    William BranhamJune 10, 1957at 24:18
And there’s only one type of healing, that’s Divine healing.” E-20 All healing is Divine healing. Doctors have aids; God’s the Healer. Doctors sets the bones: God does the healing. Doctor gives medicine to kill the rats in you, but God patches up the holes that the rats eaten. The Spoken Word Now, only one healing, Divine healing. And I said then, “Jesus said that we that believe on Him and hear His Word has Eternal Life.” And Eternal Life is the Life of God. And when the man is borned again, he becomes a part of God and is absolutely imperishable. “He that heareth My words and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Eternal, Everlasting Life, and shall never come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto Life.” We become a part of God, because we’re borned of Him, and the Spirit of God that dwells in us is immortal. It has no beginning and it’ll have no end. And that operating in a man gives him faith in his Maker, the same Maker that stood on the earth one day and said to the tree, “No man eateth from thee.” The next day the tree was wilting. And Jesus said, “Have faith in God, for I say unto you, if thou shall say to this mountain, ‘Be moved,’ and don’t doubt, but believe that what you say shall come to pass, you can have what you say.”
  20. The Queen Of Sheba

    William BranhamJuly 10, 1960at 10:23
Oh, that’s — that’s God. E-10 Now, in these meetings, our…We do not have what we call “major” on Divine healing. Because Divine healing is a minor, and you can never major on a minor. You — you…Divine healing is just something that God added to the church. And no one can preach salvation of the soul without preaching Divine healing for the body. It’s just like if an animal had me by the side here and was just cutting my side out with his paws, there’s no need of just chopping off his foot or his paw that he’s got in my side. Just knock him in the head; it kills the whole animal. Well, that’s the way that Christ did when He died for sin, He killed every attribute of sin. See? He killed the whole thing. And before we had any sin, we had no sickness; sickness is an attribute of sin. Without sin, they had no sickness. And when sickness is a result of sin…And you cannot deal with sin without dealing with sickness. “He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripes we were healed.” So when you stop the sin question, you also affect the sick question. All of it is taken care together. And that’s why Christ died: a full man, a full death, a full resurrection, for a full church, for a full Gospel. That’s right. And therefore, it all goes together. Now, we notice…
  21. Jehovah-Jireh

    William BranhamApril 17, 1959at 1:00:43
He has provided a Sacrifice for us. E-58 You are sick. Your duty is to go to your doctor. If your doctor cannot help you, then God has a Sacrifice provided. If you’re an alcoholic, you’ve went to the ‘s-Anonymous, and you probably tried to get cured that way. If you’re cigarette smoker, you probably taken “Notobac,” and everything that you can think of, and still you crave them things. You’ve come to the end of the road. With that, with them unclean habits, you can’t be of God. And if you’ve done everything that you can do, and still you see that it doesn’t work, then Jehovah has a provided Sacrifice. He’s Jehovah-jireh, the Sacrifice to take you away from your sins. You say, “Brother Branham, I’ve sought for the Holy Spirit. I’ve did this.” You never do that. The Holy Spirit seeks you. You don’t seek the Holy Spirit, It’s seeking you. It’s just your surrender to It. That’s what does it. “Brother Branham, I’ve sought Divine healing.” Divine healing was purchased at Calvary. You don’t seek Divine healing; the Divine healer seeks you — God. That’s why you’re here tonight. He’s trying to get into your heart.
  22. The Identified Christ Of All Ages

    William BranhamApril 1, 1964at 11:50
He does whatever He wishes. But, yet, I like to see anything, when it comes in a line of a doctrine, come out of the Bible. Because, I believe that the Bible is the full revelation of Jesus Christ. The Bible said that’s what It is. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ. And nothing is to be added to It, or anything taken from It. So, I like to stay right in what It says and what It promises. If He’d just do what He promised, that’s all I care to see, anyhow. Then I know I’ll see Him. Now, in this we do not try to say we major in Divine healing, because Divine healing is a minor. And you could never major on a minor. But about eighty-six percent, I think it’s estimated, of Jesus’ ministry, was on Divine healing. He… As Dr. Bosworth used to say, my…One of my associates that just went to Glory, last few years, about…being about eighty-four years old. He said, “Divine healing is the bait that’s on a fish hook. And you never show the fish the hook. You show him the bait, so he takes the bait and gets the hook.” So, that, that’s what it is. We want to catch the fish for the Lord’s glory; catch them out of the world, and bring them into the Kingdom of God.
  23. Expectations

    William BranhamAugust 10, 1950at 25:12
It was revealed by the Holy Spirit that he wasn’t going to die until he’d seen the Lord’s Christ. E-26 [Blank spot on tape — Ed.]…?…of Divine healing over the coals not long ago. And he said, “I believe Brother Branham called it out on the platform that had a cancer, that he’d be well.” Said, “He had the man to go ahead and testify, and tell the people to testify of their healing before they were healed. Those out in the audience as long as they go ahead and testify, to believe God and testify…” Said, “Then he goes around and says those people were healed.” I said, “The only thing I could do, take…?…His Word and what God said.” He said, “That’s the reason Divine healings isn’t…There’s no Divine healing.” Friends, that person just did not understand. There’s no other way in the world to be healed, only through Divine healing [Blank spot on tape — Ed.]…faith.
  24. Jairus, A Secret Believer

    William BranhamJune 4, 1955at 11:23
If you’ll notice about Jairus, A Secret Believer eighty percent of Jesus’ ministry was Divine healing, but Divine healing is like the bait that’s on the hook. You don’t show the fish the hook. You show him the bait, so he gets the bait and the hook too. So that’s what we think about Divine healing. God sets in the Church great signs and wonders to get sinners conscious of His Presence. Like the gift of speaking in tongues, it’s not for him that believeth, but him that believeth not. See? It’s signs to the unbeliever, and today we have plenty unbelievers. E-9 I’ve taught much to heathens in Africa, India, many different parts of the world, but the worst unbelievers you deal with is not that man who has never heard. It’s the man who’s self centered in his own way and won’t heed to God. That’s the worst kind to deal with, for they seem to be just so centered that — that nothing can move them, say, “Don’t talk to me. I don’t believe it.” Recently a man said to me, said, “Brother Branham, I do not believe in Divine healing.” I said, “Well, it wasn’t for you. It was for believers. ‘Him that believeth’ that’s who it’s for. It wasn’t for unbelievers in the beginning.” I said, “So you’ll never draw any dividends off of it. Let’s don’t worry about that.” He said, “I believe that sickness is a glory to God.” I said, “Well, it’s strange you had your wife operated on for appendicitis: must’ve cut the glory out.” So people that talk like that, there’s something wrong. God don’t get glory out of people being sick. He wants you to be well. Our Blessed Bible said, “Above all things, I would that you’d prosper in health.”
  25. Balm In Gilead

    William BranhamFebruary 18, 1961at 59:14
It’s not because we haven’t got toxin; it isn’t because we haven’t got physicians; it’s because the people don’t want to take it. E-50 [Blank spot on tape — Ed.]…and think that he could fix your arm up, it’s a dangerous thing not to do that, you should do it. It’s dangerous if you don’t do it. And there was a time we didn’t have much toxin. People died with diphtheria, but they got a toxin for it. Polio, the Salk toxin, that’s — that’s fine; I — I sure appreciate that. I believe a man would be more humble…You say, “Brother Branham, you believe in Divine healing?” That’s all Divine healing. Every bit of it’s Divine healing. “I’m the Lord Who heals all thy diseases.” Yeah. Every bit of it is Divine healing. If hospitals and the — and stuff like that is not the… Tell me where there ever was one doctor that could heal a disease, or tell me where they got a medicine that’ll heal a disease. I was interviewed at Mayo’s; you seen it in the “Reader’s Digest,” and so forth, Donny Morton, was healed up here. They called me, and they say, “We don’t claim to be healers, Mr. Branham, we only claim to assist nature. There’s one Healer; that’s God.” Sure.
  26. The Deep Calleth To The Deep

    William BranhamJune 24, 1954at 0:01
The True Easter Seal E-1 Oh, my. There’s no two Holy Spirits, there’s…And that same Holy Spirit, that led Simeon that night, or that morning to the Christ has led you here tonight, ‘cause you believe the promise of the Holy Spirit. And He’s just as obligated to you as He was to Simeon, the same, because He’s God, and He has to keep His Word. Then I can see Simeon, he craved; he desired to see the Christ. He believed what the Word of God had said to him. No matter what the critics said, he believed the Word of God. There was a yearning in his heart to see the Christ, and he believed he would. As David said, “When the deep calleth to the deep.” Many of you in here believes in Divine healing, do you? Do you believe in Divine healing? The very reason that you believe in Divine healing proves there is a Divine healing.
  27. Conference With God

    William BranhamDecember 20, 1959at 12:46
Amen. E-13 Now, there is many handkerchiefs laying here. And we will pray over them. And if you don’t have one here and you wish one, why you just write us here to Post Office Box 325, and immediately we will send it right to you. That’s found now in the Book of Hebrew — in the book of — of the Acts, the 19th chapter where we take handkerchiefs or aprons from the peoples to pray over them. Let us turn this morning now in the Scriptures to the book of Isaiah the 1st chapter. Isaiah 1, while we read a portion of the Scripture. And while you’re turning to this book to follow us in the reading, we are — want to speak something about the healing service coming up. Now, we do not try to say that we make Divine healing here a major, because Divine healing is a minor. And you can never major on a minor. But we believe that Jesus Christ’s ministry, eightysix percent of it was Divine healing. And in catching the people’s attention by Divine healing, brought the realization that He was God. And they… He said, “If you can’t believe Me to be that, then believe the works that I do. For, if I do not the works of My Father, then believe Me not. But if I do the works of the Father, and you can’t believe Me, then believe the works.”
  28. Fellowship

    William BranhamAugust 13, 1955at 33:05
We ourselves plunged ourself into that. E-14 Now, Jesus came to restore the human race. Everything that he lost in Eden, and we’re on our road…Now, we have the earnest of that deliverance. Now, we are — have the Holy Spirit, which is the Life of God in a portion. …(portion, or a small part)…When we are in His Presence at — at the end of life, then we will have the full Spirit. This is called the Earnest of our salvation. Now, we also believe that we’ll have a immortal body someday. When Jesus comes, these vile bodies will be changed. And we’ll have a body like His own glorious body. How many believes that? Thank you. I’m happy to see you believe that. I look for that day myself. Notice, if we have that and that was included in redemption, we’ve got to have Divine healing for the earnest of our complete deliverance. If there is no Divine healing, there’s no resurrection of the dead. How about that, teacher? If there is no Divine healing, there’s no resurrection. Divine healing is the earnest of the resurrection. If the Holy Spirit is here, that is the Earnest of our eternal life. Do you believe that?
  29. Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever

    William BranhamMay 15, 1958at 2:38
And the ranger didn’t pay too much attention to the brand that was on the cattle, it was the — it was the breed of the cow. The blood that was in the cow, it had a tag, and it must be a thoroughbred Hereford or it could not go on the forest. that was the main thing. The Spoken Word E-4 And I think that’s the way it will be at the day of the judgment: It won’t be exactly what brand we’re wearing, as what Blood we’re under. The Blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, will be the marking for His children. Some of us might say we’re a Methodist, or Baptist, or Assemblies of God, or Apostolic Church, or whatever its name, but it’ll be all of us under the Blood, I believe we’re going in at that day. That’s right. I’m expecting to visit you there at that great gathering that all human beings have looked forward to, through the ages. Now, we talk about Divine healing mostly in my meetings. But Divine healing is not what we try to major with. You can never major on a minor. Divine healing is just a — a gift to present Christ. Now, the…?…Divine healing to catch the peo — people’s attention to let them know that Jesus loves them. And the main healing that we’re after is the healing of the human soul. That men that are born again have Eternal life, and shall never perish, but be raised up again at the last day. And then it’ll take the spirit of your…?…
  30. Can We See Jesus

    William BranhamJune 19, 1958at 12:03
And so therefore, you have to deal with sickness and sin on the same basis of the atonement. E-9 Now, many people has criticized my meetings, because I don’t pray for too many, don’t lay hands upon them, or some tangible something. It isn’t necessary that I lay my hands on anyone, or it isn’t necessary that you lay your hands on me. What’s necessary is that you lay your hands on Him. He is the One. For me, I’m your brother; He’s your Lord. So, lay hands on Him; by doing this, take a hold of His Word and say, “Lord, I believe it.” Now, many times, Divine healing is more or less, becoming a thing of an intellectual conception of Divine healing. You can never, never be healed by an intellectual conception of Divine healing. You might be worked up in an emotion like Christian Science. But it isn’t a thought; it’s a Person. Divine healing is something that has to come by a revelation of Jesus Christ’s death at Calvary, and by His stripes you were healed. God reveals it to you in your heart, not your head, your heart. And then nothing can ever separate you from that. To show that it’s intellectual, people will pass through one prayer line and the next evangelist comes in town, they’ll pass through that prayer line. It’s like trying to touch totem poles. That don’t heal you. Stand still; look up; listen to the Word, and say, “God, it was for me.” That’s the way to get it.
  31. Greater Than Solomon Is Here

    William BranhamJune 5, 1963at 18:17
Jesus said, “If I be lifted up from the earth, I’ll draw all men unto Me.” May the Lord help us. I didn’t aim to get off on that, but just talking. The Lord bless you now. And one of these nights, maybe, ’fore it’s over, I’m going to maybe preach one night for you. I’m just going to. I’m talking about Divine healing now because I want to see, waiting for the Lord maybe to do something. That’ll… You know, about eighty-six percent of Jesus’ ministry was Divine healing. And we don’t use Divine healing for a major. You can’t major on a minor, we know that, and this great art of Divine healing. I have just completed a study, the last four or five years, of the early Church. I started off with the Foxe’s book of martyrs, come down through Hislop’s Two Babylons, and so forth, and on down through the Nicaea, and the Post-Nicene and the Nicene Fathers, and Nicaea council, and finding out that after the death of Jesus Christ. Down through Polycarp, and Irenaeus and Martin, and many of those great saints, for hundreds of years after the death of Jesus
  32. Thy Loving Kindness

    William BranhamFebruary 28, 1958at 1:07:05
Amen. E-58 Just be reverent a moment. Don’t be angry with me for preaching straight and clean. You might different with me, but read your Bible. The message of Divine healing is wonderful. But Divine healing is just something to get your attention attracted. If you are healed — Divine healing, you may get sick again. Lazarus was raised from the dead and died again. A doctor can heal you of pneumonia by giving you penicillin, or kill the germs in you, and tomorrow pronounce you sound and well. And Monday you can die of pneumonia again. Certainly. But if you’re saved, that’s different. You’ve got Eternal Life, Everlasting Life. You haven’t got everlasting health, but you’ve got Everlasting Life. Accept it tonight, friends. E-59 Now, let’s be reverent just a moment. Just that you might know, these young Christians and those who come back to Christ before we make an altar call, that you might know that the Holy Spirit is here, we’ll pray for the sick. But I want you to be reverent just a moment. I can’t do that; it’s too late. All right, how many in here doesn’t have a prayer card and you want God to heal you, raise up your hand just a moment? All right, be reverent.
  33. Preparation

    William BranhamNovember 11, 1953at 50:28
Our King will come to us, Jesus Christ. E-53 But there, the little old Shamgar, there was no king. Who was he? He was just a lay member. Well, he…They’d build up the crop and work hard, Israel would. And the first thing you know, about time the crops got ripe, they got all their wheat harvested and everything, round come the Philistines, take everything they had, go back. That’s the way the devil does it. Just about time you get your church fixed to a place, and you say, “Well now, I’m just getting along fine. We’re having — we’re having a real old time revival.” The The Spoken Word devil will slip in some old crazy idea, “You know, them people just about crazy.” All that stuff, “There’s no such a thing to it, ‘cause doctor So-and-so said there was no such a thing as that.” E-54 A man right here in this same neighborhood said, “Well now, we believe in Divine healing, of course, if the man’s a coming. But after the meeting’s over, let me see somebody that was healed. There won’t be one.” That guy was a lying. He don’t believe in Divine healing. No, sir, can’t believe in divine healing. Brother, it’s so whether you say it or not. God said so. If I prayed for ten thousand people tonight, and ten thousand of them died in the morning, tomorrow night with the same faith, I’d be preaching Divine healing. If I preach to a thousand people tonight, and they all died; fifty years from now the resurrection, come to me saying, “Brother Branham, don’t believe in Him. You’re dying now, but you — you do something else.
  34. God's Covenant With Abraham And His Seed

    William BranhamFebruary 23, 1956at 57:54
Oh, my, how I love Him. The Spoken Word E-63 Now, he said…One day when he was about a hundred years old God called him out and said, “Abraham, I’m going to confirm this oath to you; you’ve believed Me for twenty-five years that this Divine healing case was going to happen.” It was a Divine healing; we ain’t got time to get to it tonight, but tomorrow night, God willing, I’ll prove it to you, it was Divine healing. All right. I can prove to you the glory of God’s Divine healing. Notice. He said, “Here I’m going to show you what I’m going to do, and confirm it forever with you, Abraham.” And He called him out. He said, “Now, I want you to go get a she goat of three years old. And I want you to get a heifer of three years old. And I want you to get a ram. (Notice the two females and the male. We’ll pick that up, maybe, if we don’t get to it tonight, tomorrow night.), and two turtle — a turtledoves, and a young pigeon.”
  35. Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever

    William BranhamAugust 24, 1954at 39:56
We’re interdenominational, believing that the brotherhood of the — of Jesus Christ. E-11 Now, I’ll give you a little something what Brother and I have tried to do for these past eight years. It has not been so much on Divine healing as people has thought it has been. Many of them have said, “Brother Branham, your meetings are — are just based of Divine healing.” No, brother. It’s on Divine healing, but not the…?…It’s the healing of the Body of Jesus Christ is what we’re trying for, to get the — all different denominations of churches to be brothers. Whatever they believe that’s all right. Let’s join ourself together and be Christian brothers and sisters. That’s what our whole heart’s desire is to do. And what little influence the Lord has given me, I try to use it that way, and Brother Baxter the same of his influence as a Bible teacher, and me to pray for the sick. And we believe that. We believe that all men that’s born again are brothers. That’s right. And so we…That’s what we stand for. And now, our theology may be — may be a little bit different from what you would — the regular run of ministry of praying for the sick. We are talking about, Brother and I; we haven’t settle on it yet, when we come back from overseas or perhaps set up different type of meeting. Frankly, I place it in several of the magazines that teaches Divine healing, an article. That…It’s always been that my meeting; I can’t get to enough people. And I never stay long enough, but the crowd just grow and grow and grow and then I — about four or five nights, and I’m just about done, because of visions.

    William BranhamDecember 12, 1954at 15:30
Everybody believes that, don’t you? That’s how I believe in Divine healing so strongly, because that in the Old Testament Divine healing was then. And if the…We have something much better. If the Old Testament produced Divine healing under that little thing, and only thing the New Testament is is something way more, and far better, what has the New Testament got in Divine healing? Oh, it’s got much more. See? For the New Testament is better things, says Paul here in the Hebrews. The Old Testament produced…Oh, it was all right. Like if I’m walking out here, going out to do something here at nighttime, to read, or — or to have services out, and well, it’s a — or go wherever I may, travel, and it’s a moonlit night. That’s mighty nice. I appreciate that. But if the moon can produce that, what will the sun do? And it’s strong. It — it just puts the moon out; that’s all. See, there just — there’s no more of it.
  37. Expectation

    William BranhamOctober 1, 1955at 54:05
And as sure as there’s a deep calling, there’s a deep to respond to it. E-54 And tonight you’re craving Divine healing, because God’s Bible said so. Something in you tells you there’s a Divine healing. And as sure as there’s something in you craving for Divine healing, there’s a fountain open somewhere. And the same Holy Ghost, that give Simeon the promise and led him to the Christ, has led you here tonight, for Divine healing where the fountain is open for every one of you. Deep calling to the deep, there’s a respond. And when you see it, oh, you’ll bathe in it. I love beauty, I watch the sunset. I was riding today around your lake, and weeping like a baby. The lady back there and her husband, my book salesman here, Mr. and Mrs. Wood, they said, “Brother Branham, what do you see?” My mother’s a half-breed; she’s a half Cherokee Indian. And when I looked out there and could see those leaves painted, I said, “It’s God with His brush; He’s painting the scenery.” There was something in me that longed for it. And when I seen it, my heart weeped inside of me. Deep calling to the deep…
  38. Divine Healing

    William BranhamDecember 19, 1954at 13:44
I — I just, something, I hunger for God. I…There’s just something I ought to be doing, looks like, and I just can’t get to doing it right, somehow. Just…It was here, years ago, I used to tell you, I could just reach after something and almost touch it. You see? It just seems to me like there’s something else out there I’m just almost touching somewhere. If I could only get that spot, and just then — then would be fine. Now, I was asked about the book that Mr. Church wrote, or them things in there. And oh, many has been calling asked if I was going to say anything about it, and everything. No, I ain’t saying nothing about it. Just let it alone. See? Listen, I’ll probably be preaching Divine healing when Mr. Church is buried. So now…See, Divine healing…When me and Mr. Church both is laying in our graves, God’s Bible will still be preach — teaching Divine healing, and people will be practicing it. So it doesn’t make any difference. That’s…It’s too bad that we American preachers hasn’t got enough to do but just go around and argue with one another, and pick a fuss to stir up something. You see? When God’s Word declares Divine healing. And they have done it from the ages all the way through. And it always will be that way. And as far as believing the Word’s inspired, I believe that every iota in that Bible is inspired. There’s none of It…
  39. God Hath A Provided Way

    William BranhamJanuary 8, 1956at 10:30
It’s got to be something actually take place. E-6 Now, today…And we’re expecting a couple ambulance loads of people to pushed in in a few moments, that’s coming by plane. And we want to get into a lesson this morning for those who are here, that’s so sick and needy, upon the subject of Divine healing, so that your faith can be built up on Divine healing, to know what it really is, and know what to do, how to make arrangements to — to prepare yourself for your healing. How many read “Christian Life” this month? Did you get to read it, “The Christian Life” magazine? I believe, no, I beg your pardon. I got it this month, but it was sent to me. Of a famous doctor in Illinois, was ask a question, “What about Divine healing?” Wished I would have brought it along this morning. And he said, “Is there such…” They asked him, “Is there such a thing as Divine healing.” He said, “Certainly.” And if that doctor didn’t explain it exactly the way I’ve explained it about my hand being cut, that it don’t build tissue, medicine…We — we think medicine’s wonderful. And we would not say don’t use it, because it’s something…Just like I wouldn’t say, “Don’t use soap to wash your hands.” It’s a chemical, but after all, medicine doesn’t heal. Medicine just keeps clean, while God does the healing. You can’t set your arm, and…Doctor can’t come in and set your arm and say, “Now, it’s healed.” He just sets your arm, and go away and let God heal it for you. That’s the only way it can be done.
  40. The Second Miracle

    William BranhamJuly 29, 1951at 16:46
You read what the Doctor Davis said. E-16 All right, but that…See, when God speaks anything, though it linger, it’s got to come to pass. Now, I believe that God was going to do it, and there was that great modernistic day of scientist and everything standing out there and saying, “Days of miracles are past,” and so forth. But God said, “Go.” Now, I…Like David of old, he couldn’t slay all the Philistines, but if he could only kill that boaster out there, Goliath. And so, when Goliath was slain, all Israel took courage and away they went. And they beat the Philistines plumb back into their gates. Well now, that’s the way it’s been now. Ministers has seen the vision. And Divine healing now, even the — the Presbyterian church in New York, and all them’s, practicing Divine healing, having healing services on Wednesday night. Colleges are adopting it, throughout the world. In Korea they had a Divine healing service here not long ago in Korea and thousands got healed. Down in Japan, everywhere, from Australia, and around the world comes the news, great things going through; the books went forth, ministers read, taking courage and went out. And Divine healing has swept the world. Thank God.
  41. Palmerworm, Locust, Cankerworm, Caterpillar

    William BranhamJune 12, 1953at 12:03
An insanity… E-8 And so, he seen what happened. He locked hisself in a room for three days, nailed hisself up and then come down to my place. And he said, “Brother Branham, I — my heart is stirred. You think God has give me a gift of Divine healing?” I looked at him. He was a promising young man. And I said…Very nervous, he just…You know how he is. Little bitty fellow and he…I said, “Brother Osborn, look. You don’t understand what a gift of healing is, brother. A gift of healing is faith in healing.” I said, “What you believe. If you believe it, of course, that’s right. It’s all by faith.” “But” I said, “Brother Osborn, you’re a promising little man. And I see that you’re — you…I believe you’re a good level Scripture teacher.” I said, “Let me ask you something. If you want to be a success in life, don’t claim nothing you haven’t got. It’ll be showed anyhow after while that you’re — you’re falsely.” See? I said, “Just be honest before God and go on out.” I said, “You know…You believe the Bible teaches Divine healing?” He said, “Yes, Brother Branham.” I said, “Teach that. God made you a preacher. And you go out and just preach the Word clear…” I said, “You see the old oak tree?” (Which that was Brother Bosworth.) I said, “Get with him and stay with him about a year. Let him teach you all the angles. But” I said, “he’s been preaching Divine healing before I was borned. He was preaching Divine healing and holding meetings.” And Brother Osborn stayed with him about a year and a half, and he is one of the most solid man on the fields.
  42. Sir, We Would See Jesus

    William BranhamNovember 12, 1963at 10:42
Now, and then we’ll… How many would like to have a healing service, pray for the sick? Let’s see your hands, up through. Oh, my! It’s in — it’s in the majority, by much, I guess ninety-nine hundredths and ninety-nine hundredths. That’s about…Well, that’s fine. But we’re… Now, Divine healing is not all the Message. Jesus put, I think they claimed, about eighty percent of His ministry was on Divine healing. But as the — the late Brother Bosworth…Many of you knew Brother F. F. Bosworth, a godly, saintly man. He used to say, that, “Divine healing is just like the bait on the hook. You never show the fish the hook, you show him the bait.” And he…And — and so Divine healing is a minor. And you can never major on a minor, but it leads to the major. So, we — we see this. And the Bible is true, every Word. And I feel that we can hang our soul on any Word of the Bible. It’s God’s Word, and I may not have faith enough to make it all act out, but I certainly believe that it can be done, if we have faith enough to believe it. Yes, if they’d believe it.
  43. Sirs, We Would See Jesus

    William BranhamMay 19, 1961at 3:33
And in this, by seeing visions, which has been a — something that I have had the privilege of seeing from God since a baby…No doubt but many of you here that’s read the books, the so forth of the testimony of my life, and perhaps has been in some of the services. E-4 But visions does not heal anyone. No one can heal each other. And the main part of my services is based, of course, upon salvation. Divine healing is a minor. And no one can never major with a minor. But about eighty-six percent of our Lord’s ministry was Divine healing. He did that in order to catch the eyes of the people. As a precious friend of mine, one of the — my first managers, and was with me till he got too old to go. I think one of his churches is here in the city, called the Christian Missionary Alliance. Dr. F. F. Bosworth. He used to say to me, he said, “Brother Branham, Divine healing is the bait that you put on the hook. You never show the fish the hook, you show him the bait. He grabs the bait and gets the hook.” So that’s the way, kind of like, Divine healing is used. We…The Lord does something to show that He is present. And when the — the people’s eyes are caught to see the Presence of the very God Who made them and will judge them at the judgment, they’re willing then to come on to His line. So I am grateful for the opportunity.
  44. Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever

    William BranhamFebruary 7, 1958at 4:51
I’m sure you’ll enjoy being here and hearing him. E-5 And now, we are here to try to put in our little ministry with your ministry together to bring glory to God. And now, I…The Lord has called me years ago to pray for His sick children. And that I reverently try to do. And I do not claim to be a healer now. If anyone can hear that, I’m not a healer. I don’t claim to heal people. I, frankly, I don’t believe there’s anyone can heal people, because that’s God’s job, and Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever He’s already did that. See? By His stripes we were healed when His Son, at Calvary, was wounded for our transgressions; and with His stripes we were healed, a past tense. And so many times people speak of Divine healing. There is no healing but Divine healing. That’s the only healing there is, no other healing, but Divine healing. Never did medicine ever cure any case. Never did an operation ever cure. See? Operation is an aid, and medicine is an aid, which we think they’re fine. We thank God for every aid that we have, but God’s the Healer. See? Psalms 103:3 said, “I’m the Lord Who heals all thy diseases.”
  45. A Greater Than Solomon Is Here

We’ll set down by the evergreen trees, and set down there and talk, and there’ll come Abraham by, and we’ll raise over and shake hands with Abraham, and Daniel will come by, we’ll shake The Spoken Word hands with him, and jump around, and shout a little bit, and set back down, and just talk about Port Alberni when — when we had the meeting here. Now, that sounds like to some people it might be fiction. But that’s truth. Amen. That’s just as truth as it can be. E-28 Now, before we pray for the sick, or whatever we do…And now, I want you to know that Divine healing…We do not try to make that our great hold. Doctor F. F. Bosworth, a good friend of mine, just went to heaven recently, a real old man. Many of you has heard of Fred Bosworth. There was a godly, saintly, old man. And he said, “Divine healing is just like going fishing.” Said, “You never show the fish the hook; you show him the bait. He grabs the bait and gets the hook.” So that’s…So — so about eighty-six percent of Jesus’ ministry was on Divine healing. It attracts the attention, of something Supernatural being done, and the people then believe in a mighty God. That does it. You see? So Divine healing is a minor, and you can never major on a minor. That’s right, Mrs. Byskal, isn’t it? That’s right. You can never major on a minor.

And that’s the way it’ll be in heaven. E-5 And I — I want to say this little remark here, that, so that I can express and not be personal to anyone, or any denomination, or phase. But speaking of Divine healing when you come here to Los Angeles, especially…I remember when I first come. Very noted man here in Los Angeles, a very outstanding minister of the denominational church that I was from, the Baptist church, I was talking to him by phone. He said, “Brother Branham, don’t talk about Divine healing in Los Angeles.” That’s was eight years ago. I said, “Why so, sir?” And He said, “Well,” said, “you just don’t realize what you’re getting into.” He said, “Everything’s a healer in Los Angeles.” He said, “It’s just hanging out on every sign and everywhere.” And said, “Some of the awfullest things you ever heard, called Divine healing.” “Well,” I said, “that may be so, my brother, and I appreciate your sincerity, but yet there’s a message of Divine healing is the truth.” See? That’s right.
  47. Questions And Answers On Hebrews

And He has never told me one thing but what absolutely dovetailed from Genesis to Revelations with that, insomuch till… 250-251 I wrote down right quick when He said, “And you — and you shall take a gift of Divine healing.” And I put it down just the way He said it. And in about three years later, the manager called my — my attention to it, said, “Brother Branham, did you notice that? That’s so perfect till He even told you ‘a gift.’” See, never said, “the gift.” And every — every one in the Bible…Every gift is “the gift” but Divine healing, and it’s “a gift.” It’s “gifts of healing.” You can have all kinds of gifts of healing, different ways. But every other is “the gift”: “the” gift of prophecy; they gift of this. But Divine healing is in the plural: gifts. And I never noticed that, that the Holy Spirit is so perfect. Oh, blessed be the Lord. Do you understand that the same Holy Ghost that wrote that Bible by hundreds of men, hundreds of years apart, and not one of them divvied one from the other; every one of them was complete; and one never even heard of the other one. And Paul went down, and was down in Arabia, and never even visit Jerusalem for fourteen years, but was down in Jerusalem and down — went from — never went to Jerusalem, but down in Arabia, and started preaching, never even seen Peter and the rest of them for fourteen years. And when they come together, they were preaching the very same thing: water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, and Divine healing, and the power of God.
  48. Expectation

Before there is a creation, there has to be a Creator. E-25 And how many in here believes that there is Divine healing, let’s see your hands? All right. Now, if…Thank you. If you believe, and there’s something in you that says there’s healing somewhere, Divine healing, there’s bound to be a Creator to create that desire. And as sure as there’s a desire in your heart to be healed by Divine healing, there’s a fountain open somewhere. That’s all. You would_ you couldn’t have that desire unless there would be. And you remember, a long time ago when the church got formal and everything, the people begin to crave more of God? The baptism of the Spirit come into existence. See, you were hungering and thirsting for more of God. And as long as you thirst for more of God, there’s bound to be more of God somewhere to respond to that. If there’s a deep calling, there’s a deep to respond. See what I mean?
  49. Sirs, We Would See Jesus

    William BranhamJanuary 4, 1957at 4:38
Now, the Lord bless you. E-5 And now, to…Each time, I try to make this on the first night a little introduction; and I don’t speak very long; and we pray for the sick. Now, I’d just like to explain so it can be understood…And I think the recorders picked it up, that in praying for the sick we do not come to say now, that we could heal anyone. I — I hardly think that would be Scriptural from the way I see the Bible. I think that Divine healing, the practice of Divine healing, is not a practice of trying to heal someone, but it’s trying to represent that blessing that was freely given to all at the — at Calvary where Jesus…There “He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we were healed.” So Divine healing is something that’s in the past tense. And I have heard people say that they met men who claimed to be Divine
  50. Life Is The Healer

    William BranhamJune 11, 1957at 1:23:52
Just forget all — just take all the superstitions away from you tonight. E-78 Last night I could feel it, friends. You want to believe, but yet there’s something behind you moving. See? Now, look, let everybody know this a surely: that no man on earth can heal you, Divine healing. And there’s no other healing in the world except Divine healing. Medicine doesn’t heal; hospitals doesn’t heal; surgeons doesn’t heal; they just clean the place where Divine healing takes place. You lose your organs by surgery, but God does the healing, if your faith isn’t en — enough — enough to purge that and make it well. God has a surgeon to cut it away. Now, remember, that’s truth. Now, surely God wouldn’t let a error blast forth a revival that’s covered the earth and sent millions of people to the Kingdom of God and be an error. And it’s been tried through every fiery furnace I know of in every nation. Ask Pastor Boze here, my associate. In many places in the world [Blank spot on tape — Ed.] you meet…There’s a devil standing there. I’ve never seen the time but what God always slayed that thing and come out victorious.
