  1. Revelation, Chapter Five

    William BranhamJune 11, 1961at 40:10
And there He stands this morning, today, the great Conqueror which shall descend from the East someday and we shall see Him. Now, we turn quickly, ’cause I know there’s a baptismal service. What is this seven-sealed Book? Oh, what a great thing! Did you notice how it says here, “It was seven seals on the back of the Book”? It’s something…Oh, may God help us now and give us courage, and maybe sooner or later I can get it to you. Look, this is not written in the Word, it’s sealed on the back of the Word. The Book was sealed by these seven seals. The whole mystery of the Book is sealed up in these seven seals. This is one of the most greatest chapters in the whole Book of the Revelation. Look: And I saw in the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book written within and…written within (Inside’s written, that’s what we’re reading this morning.) and…the backside, sealed with seven seals. Outside the Bible, what the Bible doesn’t even say, it’s sealed in here with seven seals: the mysteries of God.
  2. The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals

    William BranhamMarch 17, 1963at 24:50
Only Christ, it could be; just exactly like it was in Revelations 1st chapter, standing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks with a rainbow to look upon as jasper and sardius stone. 75-1 {47} And here He returns back in the 10th chapter after the coming time, that all the mysteries is to be finished, and the Seals are to be broke, and proclaiming that its time is no more. And he said, “When the seventh angel has begin to sound, then the mysteries should be finished and time for the Angel to appear. We’re close, somewhere. That’s right. 75-2 {48} Now, notice, the Seven Seals holds the mystery of the Book. Until we can see what those Seven Seals has sealed in, we’re only presuming them things. Because as I’ve told you this morning, upon my little message this morning of “God Hiding in Simplicity,”…You see, we are — we are — we are sure to miss the thing unless it is absolutely, genuinely revealed by the Holy Spirit and vindicated the same. See? If the prophet rises and tells you that this is just that, and God don’t vindicate the thing, forget it. See? But God in every statement, in everything has to vindicate it to make it right. See, see? So His children will watch those things (See?), and be alert. 75-3 {49} Notice, Seven Seals on the Book has the…These Seven Seals has the Book sealed. See? The Book is absolutely sealed. Do you see it? The Book is absolutely a sealed Book until the Seven Seals is broken. It is sealed up with Seven Seals. Now, that’s a different from the Seven Thunders. See?

And now, the opening of the Seven Seals that was given by the Holy Spirit, the Seven Seals only was to make known what had been left off in the dispensations behind us. 1093-146 Now, as some great theologian tried to corner me on that, he said, “Brother Branham, you — God someday will give you the secret of those Seven Seals. Those Seven Seals will be something that we’ve never learned yet, that it’ll be something that’s not even in the Bible.” No, no. It won’t be that, because if you do, that would make it a…If I told you that, I’d be a false prophet, because (You see?) this Word…There…Everything that’s — that’s…The whole revelation of Jesus Christ is all completed in this Word. See? And if the Seven Seals pertained to the seven churches, it had to be already past, because we’re in the Laodicea church age…And the Seven Seals was only revealing what they had left off back there, and it
  4. Souls That Are In Prison Now

    William BranhamNovember 10, 1963at 1:06:29
And John looked around, and he wept, because there was no man even worthy to look on the Book and, especially, open the Seals, to reveal what the hidden mystery was. The mysteries was in the Seven Seals. When these Seven Seals was opened, that opened up the entire Bible. The Seven Seals; It was sealed with Seven Mysteries, and in these Seven Seals held the entire mystery of It. And it was the Book of Redemption, New Testament. Not the Old. It only proclaimed for the New Testament. “They have been made…cannot be made perfect without us,” Hebrews 11. See? See? Now, the redemption only come when the Redeemer died. And they were potentially under the blood of lambs, not the Redeemer; hadn’t been redeemed yet, until the Redeemer came. Notice now when this Redeemer…John looked around, and here sat God on the Throne, with the Book in His hand, that had been sealed with Seven Seals, and the whole plan of redemption was in it.
  5. In His Presence

    William BranhamSeptember 9, 1962at 0:00
The True Easter Seal ` Thank you, Brother Neville, the Lord bless you real richly. And good evening, friends. It’s a grand privilege to be back here in this building again tonight, and feeling the never-failing Presence of our Lord, as He’s give the promise. And now, I know that many of you has stayed over for the little Message tonight, for which I am very thankful. And many of you has to drive far yet tonight, to get home. Some are checked out of your motels, as I understand. And we are going to try not to hold you long, so that’s the reason we come in early so we could get away early. And now we will, just as soon as I can, I will announce when we are going to maybe start, I’ve had some calls this afternoon, knowing when we was going to start on these books, or this chapters. And I think, if the Lord willing, I want to take, the next time that we start, on the Seven Seals of Revelations, and the seven natural seals. And, then if we get through in time, take the seven seals on the back of the Book, see. Now, that may take a little time. See, there’s seven seals that’s opened; there’s seven plagues, seven trumpets, all those sevens; and them seals we could take first. But then on the back of the Book is sealed with seven seals. Daniel heard the Voice as the thunders, and was forbidden to write it. John was forbidden to write it. But it was sealed on the backside of the Book, that is, after all of the mysteries of the Book has been given out and revealed.

I looked up the word hold your teeth, he sucked them out and got out of my ministry. You know, sometimes people like him in authority. I'm talking from the viewpoint of absolute knowledge of the situation. You don't go by experience. You go by what the prophet taught. And I already told you this morning what it is. You'll find it on any day. And if you want to find it, read it to them. You did with those tapes from 1963 on. Now remember, the seven seals were not fully open just in one week. It's because there's no division of the seven seals. It's not in your Bible. It's not in the symbols. It's a half -off, right? It's revelation. In Matthew 24, there's no seven seal there. Is there? No. He told us. Revelation. When that seven seal broke, seven thunders, right? And Brother Brown said, those seven thunders, that's what those seven seals were all about. Now remember, you had to go back to Arizona, right? And God told you to go to what for? The seven fields, right? What did you come back with? Marriage and divorce.

    (1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2. Now, what is there the terminology in the Greek, the literal word is: 'a signifies' that this is a manuscript that was completely filled on both sides. So that you couldn't add any more to it, the papyri, papyrus, or parchment sheets, (whatever it was) was completely finished. Then it was literally sealed with seven seals. And there were not seven on the inside. Some people still try to preach seven seals on the inside. I wish they would wake up and realize that's not true. But, you understand the idea was a rolling, then he said, "It's rolled in one seal." It wasn't. It was completely rolled. And then it was tightly sealed. Very tight. And the tight sealing would be seven seals across here, which is you would understand (in my understanding) is this: and I don't believe it's hard to follow. That there was just enough writing visible that a person could not read it, but might guess, and each time it would be a dumb guess. And that's exactly what happened to the Seals, it was a dumb guess. Some of it was inspired. Look, I've got to admit to the fact there were some who got some of the Seals a little bit right and all. Like Larkin got some and different ones.
  8. The Invisible Union Of The Bride Of Christ

    William BranhamNovember 25, 1965at 1:17:40
Separated us, and opened to us a new land, a new Message for this day. The In visible Union Of The Bride Of Christ Pentecost dried up and died, like Luther, Wesley, and the rest of them. It’s no more than a bunch of churches pulled together. Good people in there, yet, has got to be come out. What did He do? He opened up the Seven Seals of the last Message. You notice that? The Seven Seals, which, all the mysteries of the seven church ages was sealed with Seven Seals. The reformers didn’t have time to do it in their days. They didn’t live long enough. But this blessed revelation of the Seven Seals, it’s open to us in this last days, from a prophecy that went forth to Arizona. How I asked God, the other day, “What are You doing with me out here in this desert?”

Any light you might shed on this statement will be highly valued.” Well I think the brother has the right understanding here, that it’s within a special context. Now let’s face it, it’s absolutely certain in the Word of God that the Seals were ripped off the Book and the Book handed back to the Father, there’s nothing you can do about it. So whether the revelation of every single seal was a hundred percent complete, as to our understanding of it, is another question. 51. But there’s no way in my mind, from what Bro. Branham said, that those Seals were all ripped off the Book, and especially in the understanding that a book is a scroll, and there’s seven seals across the last little bit of it, like Bro. Branham illustrated, he said you take a piece of paper and roll it like this, roll. And he made a mistake the first time he preached on it though, and he had to come back and correct it. Because he said, “You seal it and then you roll it again and seal it, seven seals in and seven seals out.” And I said, “I don’t know where he gets it but I don’t believe it’s right, but if he’s a prophet he’ll come up with the answer.” Well the answer was, “I made a mistake.” Seven seals on the outside. Right? Remember that? If you don’t remember it, go over your Seals and Breach and the whole bit, and God in Simplicity, you’ll find it there down the road.

[Laughter] It’s about the same thing. 47. He said, “On one of your tapes I knew you couldn’t answer a question. You just said, “Well, we haven’t got the answer right now. So, I’m going to tell you.” And he has this book all written out. I thumbed through four pages, and I saw right away what he does like everybody else does. He doesn’t take every quote; he takes what he wants. And about the sixth page he said, “Bro. Branham taught there were Seven Seals inside and seven on the outside.” But Bro. Branham corrected it. He said, “I made a mistake. There are not seven seals on the inside and seven on the outside.” Because, Bro. Branham had taken his pen and he showed us how it worked. “This is a scroll,” he said, “and so you roll the scroll like this; oh yes, like this,” and he said, “you put a seal (Bro. Vayle whistles.) on it,” and then he said, “you take the next scroll, you roll it on top, then you put a seal,” then he said, “see, there are seven seals on the outside and seven on the inside,” but in my heart I knew he had to be wrong, unless he came up with a real, good revelation because the Bible said, “Written on the outside and on the inside, one scroll with two sides, and seven on the outside.” And he came back and he said, “I made a mistake, I taught you wrong. There are only Seven Seals.” Who remembers that? Nobody but me? How many? Joe, you remember? Good, good, I see some hands here. Good.
  11. Gabriel's Instructions To Daniel

    William BranhamJuly 30, 1961at 38:16
Our plan of redemption, the same being kept in earthly vessels: Jesus’ Name and the revelation… We find out that this was sealed with Seven Seals, and each seal was wrapped around. And as the revelation come forth, He pulled the Seal, and undone this, and read what that Seal said; then He undone the next one, the scroll, and read what that Seal said; undone the next one and pulled it out and see what that Seal said, and what the revelation was. That’s exactly what our Seven Seals that we’re going into shortly, we trust, that will do…Each Seal when it’s took off the Book will be unrolled, and that’ll show exactly what taken place. We find out that there’s seven — five in the plan of redemption. Five is the number, and there’s five sevens: Seven Seals, Seven Spirits, seven angels, Seven Trumpets, and seven church ages. So you see, the five sevens is grace. Five is grace, and seven is perfection. So it’s just perfectly running just exactly. See? All right.

He admitted it. 9. William Branham stood before us when he preached on the opening of the Seals. And in the breach he taught us, and he took a piece of paper and rolled it. And he said, “All right,” he said, “the book opened, they had scrolls.” And he said, “He rolled it and he put a seal on it. And he rolled the second and put a seal on it.” And he ended up teaching there was seven seals inside and seven seals outside. [He] had to come back and say, “I made a mistake. There are no seven seals inside!” Yet preachers right today are preaching seven seals inside! Why? Because they want to open the Book! So, you wonder why I get [ ] [aggravated] when I find out people singing for twenty years, “Jesus is here,” and don’t even know what they’re singing about, and don’t understand anything about it. I’d like to ask a question. How many of you really know what we’re singing, that Elohim is here? Raise your hands; let me see for… Come on, let me see. How in the world can anybody, then, except with a baptized brain ever get anywhere? Bro. Branham, (this is not Lee Vayle;) this is William Marion Branham, vindicated prophet of God [who said this.]

Did you not see it? At the end time, there's a perfect correction because the seals corrected the errors. When the man said, Brother Branham, you can write a new Bible, he said, hold it, hold it right there. That's a trap. Other people tell me that Brother Branham never had any correction needed in his doctrine. If he hadn't, he'd have been the seals when he said Christ was the seals and Christ is the Word. Brother Branham corrected not his doctrine per se as an understanding of doctrine, but the fine points within it. He knew we should be baptized with the Holy Ghost, but his original thesis and understanding on the evidence was love. He was wrong. He admitted it. William Branagh stood before us when he preached on the opening of the seals. And in the breach he taught us. And he took a piece of paper and rolled it. And he said, alright, he said, the book opened, they had scrolls. And he said he rolled it and he put a seal on it. And he rolled the second and put a seal on it. And he ended up teaching there were seven seals inside and seven seals outside. He had to come back and say, I made a mistake. There are no seven seals inside. Yet preachers right today are preaching seven seals inside. Why? Because they want to open a book. So

But did you forget that Bro. Branham said, “Time and eternity have mingled”? So therefore time is going on while eternity has set in. Does this man not know that Bro. Branham said the Seventh Seal is Rev 10:1-7? No he doesn’t! He doesn’t know it. There’s no way he can know it. He wouldn’t have said it. He said, “Yet to come pass.” 28. Does he know the Seventh Seal is a Roman candle that shoots plumb off into eternity? Doesn’t he know there were seven seals on the back of the Book? And does he not know that Bro. Branham himself made a mistake that he himself had to correct? When he preached before the Seals there were seven seals inside, and he illustrated, he said, “In the old days they had a scroll, maybe of a papyrus or a sheep’s skin,” and he said, “they rolled and put a seal, then they took the other piece on top and rolled and put a seal, and rolled up with the seven seals inside.” There is no Scripture for it! And Bro. Branham came back and apologized! If there are seven seals on the back of that Book written, and six seals are ripped off, and one remains, then the Book cannot be opened! You say why waste your time.
  15. Is This The Sign Of The End, Sir

    William BranhamDecember 30, 1962at 1:42:13
That’s why I’m saying, sirs, is this it? I believe that “the seventh angel” of Revelation 10 is the seventh church-age messenger of Revelations 3:14. Remember. Now let me read. Look where I can read. Now, this was the seventh angel. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, (7th verse) when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets. Now, you notice, this was a angel. And it’s the angel of the seventh church age, because it says here, it is “the seventh angel,” of the seventh church age. Found that, if you want to see who the…where the angel is, Revelations 3:14, it’s, “The angel to the Laodicean church.” Now, you remember when that was told there, the angels and the church ages. And now, in this, it’ll dovetail right into these Seven Seals that we’re coming to speak. And the Seven Seals that we’re trying to speak of, when they come this time, is the seven written Seals. And these Seven Seals, as you know, is just the manifestation of the seven angels of the seven churches; but, there are seven other Seals that’s on the backside of the Book, It’s outside the Bible. Notice. We’ll get to it in a moment.
  16. His Resurrection Proves our Redemption

    Lee VayleJune 20, 1976at 49:25
    (2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (3) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: (that's like your Urim and Thummim) and a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 40. Now, let's go to [Revelation] chapter 5:1-7 (1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Now you remember, there's only seals they're on the backside. Remember Bro. Branham in the beginning said there was a scroll rolled and sealed. Then on top another one rolled and sealed. Another, that would make fourteen seals. Seven in the Book and seven out. That’s entirely wrong. Bro. Branham corrected it, and said, "I made a mistake." (See?) Showing how that God was using him by divine inspiration correcting his own mistakes, so he could tell us what the truth was. There's only seven seals on the back side, that's all. Now, I have to tell you, because people are preaching fourteen seals. You're just wrong, that's all. The Bible doesn't say it. The Bible said, "It's one manuscript." And there's a special term for it meaning, It's written on the inside and the outside so you can't take a word, because It's sealed, and you can't add a word, because It's full. Seven seals on the back side. Follow me? Now, I forget what tape it's on, but it's there, I wouldn't tell you a lie.
  17. The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals

    William BranhamMarch 17, 1963at 1:16:18
It’s sealed up with Seven Seals…And so the Lamb is the only One Who can break them. Now (pardon me), we realize…Now, if you’d like to look in the Scriptures; you can get over in Jeremiah and find out there when he was — when he — he was going into the captivity of the land, you know, he — he bought his uncle…His uncle’s son had some_ some property, and he went through that sealing, and if we took it all…We got that also, in the Seven Church Ages, them seals and so forth in there. The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals 90-4 {144} You see, a seal in the Old Testament was like a roll, like this. And here was a mystery, and this mystery was hidden. All right, it was sealed around and put here: the claim to so-and-so. Then the next mystery was wrapped around of what this inheritance was and stuck out here on this side: “The — the — the claim to so-and-so,” and went on down until it made a scroll, because people didn’t have books like this then. It was in a roll (How many knows that?) called a scroll. Well, a sealed scroll you could break loose one here (what the mystery of this was) and tear it loose, and you could see what that claim was. And then break the other one loose, and you see what that claim was. 90-6 {145} And the whole thing here, the Seven Seals got the mysteries of God from the foundation of the world all sealed up in there, and revealed by Seven different Seals; that if God willing — let Him — let us pull back these Seals and look down through the Book and find out what it’s all about. See? Oh, I hope we have a great time.

All right.) Now you'll notice right here then and keep this in mind that Bro. Branham is speaking of the Seven Thunders. Right? Seven Seals. Yeah, because look it, he said, "That's what the Seven Seals are all about, those Seven Thunders." Then I want to ask you a question. What was Bro. Branham's message? Seven Seals, Seven Thunders. That's why Rev 10:1-7 is the Seventh Seal. That's why I couldn't buy this thought that they had up there from New York that they was seven messages by those men in the past. What do we need their messages for? We had them. They're already dead manna. What you had to do was to take what was right and bring it up, and when you did, you had That Which is Perfect is come. So how could the Seven Thunders be hidden in there and unrevealed and yet hidden in there and unrevealed for this hour, if that was the seven messages back there? I never could figure out that stuff and I'm not here to worry about it either. Why bother?

End of the third chapter he gets caught up. Now, he says here, this manuscript: (2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? Alright, there's something closed up. Now It says, "Who's going to open It? Well, he said: (4) I wept much, because (there wasn't any) man (in heaven, in earth, or under the earth, or any man (now, the secret is man) to open the book… (5) And (well, while I was weeping) the elders (said), Weep not (John) the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, (has) prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (Even to loose the seven seals.) You can't open the book unless the Seven Seals are opened. And some people today say, "Well, you see Bro. Now, if…I want you to have a question on these Seven Seals, if it’s bothering you, something that you don’t understand. Let’s have it on the Seven Seals, then I can tell by Saturday night whether it’s enough to — to answer them or not. You see? And then just…Now, just say…Well, about something else, or “Should I do this?” or — or “My…I had a dream.” Them — them’s all worthy things, now remember. They’re worthy things, but let’s stay right with the Seven Seals; that’s what we’re right on. That’s — that’s what the — the meeting is designated to: the Seven Seals. Let’s stay right with that. 285-5 {49} I got to go home, got to have a few meetings out in the west. I’ll be back again then in a little over a month or two or something like that, and maybe the Lord will permit that we can have something else on that — maybe healing service or something then or whatever we’re — whatever it is. Then we’ve got seven trumpets here to come forth yet. You see? And them all comes in there too, and the seven vials (See?) to be poured out, so…And it’ll all blend right in here, but it’s all a mysterious yet. Now, last night we find that the First Seal went forth, and the rider and the Lord…So help me, I never knew it before; none of these things have I ever knowed before. That’s right.

Because, one brother went to Bro. Branham, and said, “Bro. Branham, is this for your church, or, is it for other churches?” And Bro. Branham said, drew back and said, “Just for mine, brother.” But, look on another tape, Bro. Branham said, “God had called him, given him the job to call out a Bride.” And in the, 'Mighty God Unveiled' [64-06-29] Bro. Branham put church order with the Seven Seals. And now, this may surprise you, but, if you read your lessons carefully, and heard your tapes carefully, you’re going to find out that the Seven Seals were not opened in one week. Because 'Marriage and Divorce' [65-02-21] is a part of the Seven Seals, and was not granted until February of ’65. Every sermon after that week in March, [1963] that Bro. Branham preached, was an opening of the Seven Seals. Right. You go through It and find out for yourself. That 'Marriage and Divorce' [65-02-21] tape, is one of the most magnificent and positively necessary tapes this world has even seen. Because this is when the time of refreshing was given, and the ability to repent from our fornications, and living denominations, it was more Spiritual than physical.

Let him that’s holy The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals be holy still.” The thing is closed. Oh, brother, then what? Then what? And remember, it comes at the seventh church age, when the mysteries of God will be opened up. 99-3 {212} Now, watch real close. This is something you must get. Now, He had been doing His mediatorial work making intercessions for the believer. For two thousand years He’d been back there, a Lamb. Now, He is stepping forth from eternity to take the title deeded Book, and to break the Seals, and reveal the mysteries. When of it? At the end time. Do you get it? All right, we’ll go on then. Now, break the Seals and release all the mysteries to them — to the seventh angel whose message is to reveal all the mysteries of God. The mysteries of God lays in these Seven Seals. See? That’s what He said here. All the mysteries lays in these Seven Seals. 99-5 {215} And the Lamb comes forth now from being a Mediator between God and man; He becomes a Lion. And when He becomes a Lion, He takes the Book; that’s His rights. God’s held it, the mystery, but now the Lamb comes. Nobody could take the Book. It’s still in the hands of God. No pope, priest, whatever it might be, they can’t take no — the Book. The Seven Seals hasn’t been revealed. See? But when the Mediator, when His work is done as an Intercessor, He comes forth, and John…The elder said, “He’s a Lion,” and He comes forth. Watch Him. Oh, my. See? He comes forth to take the Book (Now, watch.) to reveal the mysteries of God that others has guessed at in all these denominational ages.

How could it be otherwise? 13. Now, we go to page 16. [74] The Book of Revelation is the last Book of the Bible. It’s sealed to unbelievers. In there the Bible says in the 22nd chapter, “Whosoever shall take one word from It or add one word to It, I’ll take his part out of the Book of Life.” We realize that, then, It was altogether given for believers. And it opens the Book of Revelation and reveals Who the Author of this entire Book is (He’s to look upon as Alpha and Omega, from Genesis to Revelation, Jesus Christ just the same, right straight through.) and reveals His complete mystery of Himself and His plans for His church ages that’s to come, and was sealed in there by Seven Seals. [75] Now, the Book was written, but then remember, It was sealed with Seven Seals. And these Seven Seals were not to be opened, Revelation 10, until the sounding of the last earthly angel on earth, Revelation 10:7. See? “And in the days of the sounding of the last angel’s Message, seventh angel, the mystery of God should be finished in that age.” And that’s the age that we are living in.

They could guess at it. 4. Now, notice also It's sealed with seven seals. Not one seal, and not two seals, and not three seals, and four seals, and five seals, or six seals, or twenty seals, or seventy seals, or sixty-six seals, it's seven seals. One Book with seven seals. And in the Greek the word 'seals' is a special word, it's 'sealed closely', or 'sealed tightly down'. In other words, those seals not just close together, but they have a strong bond letting you know that it would be very difficult to open that Book. Something very, very hard, and also greatly protected. Very secretive, secret as you may say. Fourthly, the contents of this Book cannot be known unless the seals are broken and the writing is brought into view. Now, notice what I said. I said, "You cannot know the contents of this Book, until and unless, or unless or until the seals are broken and the Life, (inside and outside) are brought into view.
  25. The Rapture

I’ll build My Church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against It.” The Book of the Revelations is the last Book of the Bible. It’s sealed to unbelievers. In there, the Bible says, in 22nd chapter, “Whosoever shall take one Word from It, or add one word to It, I’ll take his part from the Book of Life.” We realize that, then, it was altogether given for believers. And It opens the Book of Revelations and reveals Who the Author of this entire Book is. “He The Rapture is to look upon as Alpha and Omega,” from Genesis to Revelations, Jesus Christ just the same, right straight through. And reveals His complete mystery of Himself, and His plans for His church ages that’s to come, and was sealed in there by Seven Seals. Now, the Book was written, but then, remember, It was sealed with Seven Seals. And these Seven Seals was not to be opened (Revelations 10) until the sounding of the last earthly angel on earth, Revelations 10:7. See? “And in the days of the sounding of the last angel’s Message, seventh angel, the mystery of God should be finished in that age.” That, and that’s the age that we’re living in.

He said, [28] I’m talking about a message to preach; I believe that one was it, …the one that’s needed to follow those Seven Seals. (In other words, I came behind what God directly said in order to help you with what has been said.) [29] Now, watch what…comes after the Seven Seals: (Now watch!) the uniting of the people, united signs, the red light flashing in the last days; the sign of women getting prettier; …the men, what they would do; all these signs of the Holy Spirit leading up; …then come right back here to the capping-off of all these messages since the Seven Seals. It’s capped off in this one thing, the Token that we are all right. See? Just check ourselves… (with this message and see if you have It in your heart, you believe It, you know It, then you know you are one of those who took the Seven Seals.)

Because I call things God will go do and I know it. Let's see how you get mixed up and how you can ruin your life if you don't stick with this word. God calls things which aren't as though they were and you are not going to change them because that's God and he's going to keep on doing it. See? Every man who calls me, he has already glorified. And I'm not yet even glorified when I was called, so therefore I am glorified. You say, you sure look like a glorified bunch of nothing. That's according to your eyes. I'm looking through God's eyes. So you go, you look through your eyes, I'll look through my eyes. Sure. You know, the old trumpet, he said, the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I'm sure glad God beholds me because his eye is on the Pharaoh and I know he watches me. Negative consideration. God sent the vindicated prophet. He sent his prophet. He sent that prophet. He proved he sent him because he was absolutely vindicated and the scripture bore it out. That prophet brought the word. He opened the seven seals. In those seven seals were the seven thunders. Remember the seven seals and the seven thunders in them? He said they're open. He preached serpency, election. He set the church in order. He lined up the gifts within the church. He taught no eternal hell. He taught the truth in Matthew 25, which is the white throne judgment. and not the judgment of nations where they go in the millennium. He taught all the mysteries of God, which is the word of God revealed coming down from heaven. The former rain had fallen because it was the teaching rain.

Seventh Seal. Page 564 At the end of the Seventh Angel's message, all the mysteries of God will be made known. We're at the end, the opening of the Seven Seals. The Breach: The Seven Seal Book is revealed at the time of the Seven Thunders. And what's the Seventh Seal Book? The Seven Thunders, of Revelation 10: Question and Answers #4 [64-08-30E] Have the Thunders uttered? They asked Him. [78] They were revealed in the Seven Seals; that’s what the Thunders was about. The Seven Thunders had uttered their voices and no one could make out what it was…John knew what it was, and was forbidden to write it. He said, “But the seventh angel, in the days of his sounding, the seven mysteries of the Seven Thunders would be revealed.” I'm quoting Bro. Branham by the way. So, don't try to make me say something different. And the seventh angel is a messenger of the Seventh Church Age.
  29. Revelation, Chapter Five

    William BranhamJune 18, 1961at 1:35:58
Seven seals of redemption, seven Spirits of God…We find that (if you want to see if it says “Seven Spirits,” let me see here just a minute), the 5th chapter, beginning at the 6th verse (I believe, we see here), the 6th verse: And…behold, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven heads and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. What is those seven Spirits? Them seven messengers. There’s Saint Columba, and Irenaeus, and — and John Wesley, and Martin Luther, and so forth. See, “the seven Spirits,” which are seven men (seven angels), which are seven messages. Seven seals, seven Spirits, seven angels, seven horns, and seven churches. See, seven sevens, there’s five sevens, which, seven is “perfection,” five is “grace,” God’s grace to His Seven Church Ages. His seven messenger men, His seven Spirits of God, the seven planned seals of redemption (we’re in right now), the seven horns means seven “ages.”
  30. Rapture #18

So, it’s going to be Elijah. 20. Now we go back. We go to page 16 and paragraph 75. And it says: [75] Now, the Book was written, but then remember, It was sealed with Seven Seals. And these Seven Seals was not to be opened, Revelation 10, until the sounding of the last earthly angel on earth, Revelation 10:7. See? “And in the days of the sounding of the last angel’s Message, seventh angel, the mystery of God should be finished in that age,” you know, that we’re living in. And that’s the age that we’re living in. All right. [76] We all know we’re living in the Laodicean age. There will never be another age to it; it can’t be. Well, how can it be if the Rapture takes place. So we’re living in the Laodicea Age, and these Seven Seals that’s held that Book is a mystery to people, should be open at that day. That’s what He promised. Now, He won’t do anything outside the Word, because you can’t add to the Word or take from the Word. It’s got to remain always the Word. But the revelation is to reveal the Truth of It, what It is, to make It fit with the rest of the Scripture. And then God vindicates that to be the Truth.
  31. Rapture #9

    Lee VayleNovember 13, 1983at 33:58
And, remember: the subject is “The Rapture”. [75] Now, the Book was written, but then, remember, It was sealed with Seven Seals, and the Seven Seals was not to be opened, Revelation 10, until the sounding of the last angel on earth, Revelation 10:7. See? “And in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel’s Message, seventh angel, the mystery of God should be finished in that age.” That is the age we are living in. In other words there’s going to be nothing left after the revelation of the Rapture, because there’s nobody to come in—nobody. It’s all over. The dead go out of the ground, and we get changed. We all go up. 26. [76] Now we all know we are living in the Laodicean age. There will never be another age to it; it can’t be. We are living in the Laodicean age and, these Seven Seals that’s held the Book as a mystery to the people, should be opened in the last day. That’s Rev 10:1‑7—you know that—and part of that is the Rapture. That’s what He promised. Now, it won’t be nothing outside the Word, because you can’t add to the Word or take from the Word. It’s got to remain always Word. But the revelation is to reveal what It is really saying—what the truth of It is. That is what he calls it. What it is, to make it fit with the rest of the Scripture. Then God vindicates that to be the Truth.

He's out there in California, he says that this, that this is the Sixth Age. He got it all figured out. Well, he's got it all figured out wrong. Now, ...So we’re living in the Laodicea Age, and these Seven Seals that’s held that Book is a mystery to people, should be open at that day. That’s what He promised...

And you’ll find in there, that Bro. Branham was bringing out the fact, that those seven messengers came down as the Holy Spirit, and each one had a Message for the hour…for the Age, rather. And the seventh one, meant more to him than anyone else, because He revealed no doubt…what was under the Seven Seals. Because... the Seven Church Ages, not that they correspond the Seven Seals, but as there were Seven Church Ages, seven messengers, seven Messages, there were Seven Seals. And...at the end-time, the seven messengers brought down the revelation which would take place under that Seventh Seal. Now of course, I believe that those Messages that came down, were the Thunders…people can believe what they want. But I believe they were. 35. Now, thus the prophet, …now see, these seven messengers , …they were loosed to bring down the full revelation of Christ the Word, to an end-time Bride. Because that’s what happened. Now, you’ll know what happened , because Bro. Branham said speaking to Charlie Cox, he said, “Charlie, what you noticed, the people in this building noticed, I wanted you to catch what was going on this week.” He said, “It was them seven angels. The seven messengers. They would be embodiment as it were of the Holy Spirit, bringing that Word.”

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts saying, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; but see thou hurt not the oil and…wine. 232-2 {23} Now, let’s background this just a little bit on the Seals that we have passed, because just like in the church ages, why, we try to give a background to kind of lap it over till you could…That’s the way the ages are actually in the Scripture; one laps the other one The Spoken Word over, just like that, like climbing a ladder and, or climbing a step, rather, one running down to the other and coming back like that as you go up a step. 232-3 {24} And now, this seal — the…It’s a — the Book of Redemption sealed (Everybody understands that?), and this Book is sealed with Seven Seals; it is a seven sealed Book. See? And now, remember as we pictured it out to you, and took it from Jeremiah and all. Now, they…When they had…They wrote like this on a piece of — of script or paper, rather, or not paper, but it was a hide, and they rolled it up like this. Now, that…And then the end of it was left like that — that denotes what’s there. Then the next one takes the same kind of position, rolls up the same way, rolls like that, and then at the end here, it is torn off like that and left another one. Well, that was the seven sealed Book. 232-4 {26} Now, we never had books like this till lately. The books in the old time were scrolls. They were rolled up.

We’ll just keep moving. [57] Like the Seven Seals. The Seven Seals…Someone kept saying to me, “The Lord will speak to you, Brother Branham, when these Seals are revealed, and will tell us how to get closer to God…” [58] I said, “No, sir! It can’t be because the Bible, the Seven Seals on It, had the seven mysteries hidden. It was already written, but they didn’t understand what It was.” Watch how they plowed along with that, being baptized in Jesus’ Name. See? That wasn’t it, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! (That was it. See? That’s what you use, not Jesus’ Name. See?) Because, there’s many Jesuses; I got several friends here on earth named Jesus, minister friends. It isn’t that. It’s our Lord Jesus Who is the Christ. That’s the actual truth. You’re identifying. And he came in his Father’s Name. “Who art Thou, Lord?” “I’m Jesus.”

Now, one thing here, I got here five things I’d like to speak of, just a second, just as quick as I can. Look. The seven…There’s seven seals, and there’s five sevens in God’s plan of redemption. Five is the number of “grace.” How many knows that? J-e-s-u-s, f-a-i-t-h, five is the number of grace. Six is the man’s day, and seven is his — his day of redemption. Now, watch. Now, there’s seven seals in this, or — or seven stages in this great plan of redemption. There is seven what? It’s our “Lord Jesus Christ.” No author but God could be so correct. Now let’s just see how this Bible was written. Now, say for instance, from…What if we went now and took sixty-six medical books that deals with the body, wrote by forty different medical schools, a hundred and sixteen…or sixteen hundred years apart? Wonder what kind of continuity we’d come up with? When, George Washington, our president, about two hundred years ago, for pneumonia, they pulled his toenail out and bled him a pint. What if we took…

They don’t even know Who did it! They say, “God the Son.” They’re wrong. It’s God, God that did it! So much for your Catholic dogma. 25. Let’s keep reading—paragraph 64. Now all my shouting doesn’t make it real. All my emphasis doesn’t make it true. I believe it, though, and it’s vindicated. [64] But did you notice before the Seven Seals were revealed, before the great mysterious Light showed forth in the heavens up at above Tucson, at Flagstaff, where we were? Brother Fred, then he said, two men that were with me that morning, they were, so there was another man there, Gene Norman, of course. When, that had been told months and months ahead would happen. Brother Fred Sothmann and Gene Norman sitting here this morning, were there when the blast went off. But not knowing these things would take place. See, they weren’t privy to it, only Bro. Branham was. And God sent me back, and said that the time was at hand for these Seven Seals which held the seven mysteries of the entire Bible, which were sealed in with those Seven Seals. And how these angels down along the road, messengers of Seven Church Ages, opened up to a certain part of that. But in the seventh hour, the seventh messenger, then all these mysteries should be finished. See? The seventh earthly messenger, (See?) this angel that He speaks of was on earth at that time. An angel means "messenger." And then, after that, he saw another Angel coming down, not the earthly angel that had been given the Message here, but (another) mighty Angel from heaven with a rainbow over Him, and set His foot on land and sea, and swore by Him that live forever and ever, "Time shall be no more."

The revelation, Seven Seals. Page 556 The Seven Seal is the end of all things. Time runs out. It's the end of the church ages. It's the end of the Seventh Seal. (I think he might have meant Seven Seals) The end of the vials, even ushers in the Millennium, that's in the Seventh Seal. Prove it to you. How could John see all these people around the earth, all of them screaming and praising God which is duplicated there in chapter 11 in Revelation? Seventh Seal.

Did you notice I’m looking on this, the — the Light on the picture there out of the Life Magazine, that the brother that lives here in this home has put on his wall, that triangle of Light. I just happened to run across my mind. If any of you have the Lamsa Bible translation, if you’ll notice over the cover of it, is a triune, trinitarian light, a three-cornered light like a halo. And when Dr. Lamsa, a friend, my personal friend, was translating the Bible, that is the old Hebrew symbol of God in the true trinitarian way that He is; not three Gods, but three manifestations of the same God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Light is one complete circle of Light in a triangle shape, which means that God will dwell in three offices, the Fatherhood, Sonship, and Holy Ghost dispensation, all the same God. But did you notice before the Seven Seals was revealed, before the great mysterious Light showed forth in the heavens up here at above Tucson, Flagstaff, where we were? Brother Fred, two of the man that was…the two men was with me that morning. When, that had been told months and months ahead of time, would happen. See? Now, that's exactly what It is. He is to take and divide the food in due season, the food convenient. He is to take the Word, and to place It, for this hour. That was his job. All right? Now, we take that to page twelve, which you haven't read before, 87 to 90. Now this is where he is. (87) We're taught in Revelation the sixth chapter, I believe, yes sixth chapter and Seven Seals. The Book to be sealed up with seven mysteries, or Seven Seals, Revelation six. And the last day, Revelation ten, in Revelation ten, we find that Laodicea, last messenger of the age, and during the time of his prophecy, the Seven Seals would be open, seven mysteries, seven mysteries have been left off. (88) In every age there has been some left, some of It left off. The reformers didn't have time to take care of It. Sure they didn't live long enough. The days of Luther, he only preached justification by faith. He was gone, they made a church. After come Wesley, he preached sanctification. There it was. Long came Pentecostals.

He does all three in descending and He's got a Voice. Then people smart off, and sit under a pastor and say Bro. Branham made a mistake. You're as rotten as your pastor. That's all. And them Seven Seals opened. For you say, “Well, the Seven Seal wasn't open so you raise up Clay L. Morgan.(?) Clay L. Clay and el, meaning God. A man taking the place of God, tells you flat. A special name like Oral, Elvis, Ricky. Come on. There's one seal left on that book, and it ain't open. What are you going to do with it? Pry it off yourself? He said, "we have everything to put us in a Rapture." If that Seventh Seal isn't open, then we don't have everything to put us in a Rapture. Because, we're gone in the Seventh Seal. Because, Bro. Branham said, the seven Trump to Israel, is the same as Seventh Seal to us. They were prophets. The Seven Seal is Revelation 10:1-7. God and man. Somebody the other day said, “Well, you see I believe you're supposed be …?...." I believe those two prophets, but you see, they're really two ministries in one man.”

Why don’t we just go together and let our children marry one another? We’re a great nation. We’ll make you great with us.” Now anybody with common spiritual understanding can see exactly that same thing even today, marrying all of them together. And it was an unforgiveable sin. It was never forgiven Israel. A Paradox But then Joshua raised up for the exodus. Now we’re taught, in Revelation the 6th chapter, I believe, yeah, 6th chapter, of the Seven Seals. That’s supposed…The Book to be sealed up with seven mysteries, or Seven Seals, Revelation 6. And in the last day, Revelation 10, in Revelation 10, we find out that the Laodicea, last messenger of the last age, and during the time of his prophecy, that the Seven Seals would be opened, the seven mysteries, sevenfold mysteries that had been left off.

When can He open It? Only after the time of the acceptable year runs out, at a juncture time when there is no grace except for the Elect, and wrath comes upon the earth. Now, let's go and check It out. (The devil almost tripped me on that one. He wants to trip me, don't worry, I ain't no prophet, I'm just teacher. But he didn't get away with it.) All right, Revelation 5:1-4. (See, my notes say different) (1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. We're talking, watch him bring it in now) (87) Revelation chapter 6, I believe, yes, sixth chapter of the Seven Seals. They're suppose...The Book to be sealed up with seven mysteries, or Seven Seals, Revelation 6. The last day, Revelation 10, Revelation 10 we find out that the Laodicea, last messenger of the last age, and during the time of his prophecy, that the Seven Seals would be opened, and the seven prophecies, sevenfold mysteries that had been left off. And I think it’s the denominational systems that’s twisted the people’s minds and so forth until they don’t know how to do it. That’s right. But we’re promised that it would be revealed. And now, these Seven Seals that this Book is sealed with, and those Seven Seals…Now…And then after these Seven Seals are completed, we find in Revelations 10 there was seven mysterious thunders that John was commissioned to write but then forbidden to write those. And at the time of those thunders, we find Christ, or the Angel come down with a rainbow, and put His feet on the land and sea and swore that time had run out at that time. 283-7 {38} And then we find — find out that in the revealing of the Seals that the — the Lamb had left His mediatorial work as an Intercessor and had come forth now to claim His rights, all that He had redeemed by His death. And then the…No one could open the Book; no one understood It. It was a Book of Redemption, and God, the Father, Spirit, had It in His hand, because Christ was at the throne as a Mediator, the only Mediator. Therefore, there could be no saint, no Mary, no Joseph, no nothing else on that altar, because it was Blood, and only the Blood of Jesus could make the atonement. So nothing else could be standing as a mediator. That’s right. There was nothing else. 284-2 {40} So all this idea of interceding with Jude for politics and interceding with Saint Cecilia for something else, that’s nonsense. That’s not…I — I don’t say them people are not honest and sincere.

We got…Let’s just…Satan keeps telling me them people’s getting tired, so I guess they are, but let_ let’s take this anyhow. 101-4 {231} Seven horns was the seven churches (See?), the Seven Church Ages, because that was the Lamb’s protection. What He protected His rights with on earth was a God-sent group of people that’s protected. See, the horn on the Lamb… Seven eyes are the seven messengers of the Seven Church Ages: seven eyes, seven seers. 101-5 {233} Would you like to write down some Scripture? Let’s just turn to it. What do you say? Got that much time? All right, let’s go to Zechariah, the Book of — of Zechariah, just a little bit, and we’ll — we’ll read some of this. I — I don’t want to keep you too long on these things, and — and I…But yet, I don’t want you to miss it. What’s any more important than this? What’s the matter? What? There’s nothing more important than Eternal Life to a person, and we must — we must get this now and — and be sure that we get it. All right. 102-1 {235} All right, sir. And now, we want to read Zechariah the 3rd chapter. I think that’s right now: Zechariah 3. We’re just going to get these symbols here, if I’ve got my Scriptures wrote down. I was just shouting all over the place this afternoon when I hit this, so I — I just don’t know whether I got it right or not; I hope I have.
  48. Commentary on 7th Seal

    Lee VayleDecember 7, 1983at 45:56
Return to your home. Now will be each angel will be one of the seals of the seven seals. Seven angels would present then seven seals. That's what he said. All right. Okay, rapture. I got the right place here now. Okay. Page 107. Now, here also a type of the seven church ages, which is Revelation 10. that the great mystery of the book was to be unfolded by the seventh angel's message. Now, there's a messenger above all these and a messenger on earth. The word angel means a messenger. And the seventh angel's message, while he was making his proclaiming his ministry, that when he begins to sound forth his ministry, not when he started out. Jesus, when he started out, he started healing sick and afflicted. Oh, that great rabbi, he's prophet. Everybody wanted him in his church. But when he sat down one day and said, I and my father, one that was different. That was different. That was different. And except you eat the flesh of the son of man drinking blood, you have no life in you. Well, he's a vampire. See, see, that was different. He didn't explain it. They'd already seen the manifestation. The vindication of the word of God for his age made real and proved to them that he was that messenger of that age and he didn't have to explain anything.

  49. The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals

    William BranhamMarch 17, 1963at 1:14:45
Christ has redeemed us now. We are now redeemed, but He has not claimed His possession yet. Now, you might different with that, but just hold on a minute (See?); we’ll see. See? 90-1 {140} He hasn’t claimed it. See? If He took the Book of Redemption, everything that Adam had and everything that he lost, Christ redeems back; and He’s already redeemed us, but He hasn’t took the possession yet. He cannot until the time appointed, and then will come the resurrection, and then the earth will be renewed again, and then He will take possession, His possession which He got when He redeemed us, but will do it at the appointed time. Oh, my. This is described in this seven-sealed Book that we’re talking of now. All right. The Book of Redemption, it’s all described in here. All that what Christ will do at the end will be revealed to us this week in the Seven Seals if God will let us. See? All right; it’ll be revealed. 90-3 {141} And revealed as the Seals break and are released to us, then we can see what this great plan of redemption is and when and how it’s going to be done. It’s all hidden in this Book of mystery here. It’s sealed up with Seven Seals…And so the Lamb is the only One Who can break them.
  50. Gabriel's Instructions To Daniel

The True Easter Seal Lord bless you…?…Good morning, friends. It’s very hot to be in the Tabernacle this morning, but very glorious to be here. So glad that we could — could get in today for this service. And I’ve — I’ve given out that I’d have a study now on this Seventy Weeks of Daniel. That ties in the rest of the Message before I can go with the_ the Seven Seals, which there’s Seven Seals, Seven Plagues, Seven Trumpets, Three Woes, the woman in the sun, casting out of the red devil, the 144,000 sealed away — all happens between this time. And I thought I’d have to get this in first. Now, it’s hot; we don’t aim to stay too long, just as — as we can. And this is the season, usually off-season, that when people don’t have church too often, and especially…And all of them got air conditioned rooms and so forth where it’s comfortable. We wish we had that, but at this time we don’t have it. Many of our forefathers set out in the hot sun. When I think of apologizing to the people for not having a air conditioned room, my thoughts always drift back to Africa where they laid there in those storms, and them women with their hair hanging down in their face, lay there both day and night and never leave the spot from where they’re laying; don’t eat, drink, nor nothing, stay right there just to catch a word or two now and then of the Lord.
