Well, most women were like that about their long hair and I could never get into my mind about Bro. Branham and his crazy long hair stuff until one day I said, “Look,” to two men, I said, “I don’t know. I can’t tell you what long hair is all about but there’s one thing I know that this man he doesn’t fool with tiddly-wink stuff.” Now I said, “There’s no way. Let’s rise and be dismissed. Heavenly Father, we thank You for what the prophet gave us. It thrills our souls with gigantic waves swirling in upon the dry beaches of our souls. Watering the Seed, giving us joy, giving us exaltation, enlarging happiness, and yet concentrating it right down to an atom that could explode and then reconstruct itself into eternal immortal flesh. We praise You, God for Your kind love and mercy. Praise You for the Word that You gave through a prophet that cannot be judged. Only God can judge. We know that, just like You judged David. Oh Lord, it’s wonderful to know that You are the Judge. And it’s wonderful to know that the sheep hear the voice. It’s wonderful to know identification. It’s wonderful to know it’s Word going to Word, and it’s nature going to nature, and it’s all laid out here, and there’s no more mystery left to It. I know people want some big explosion Lord, some big emotion, some this and that, but You never said she had that. You just said she stayed with her contract, the Word, and “her long hair Nazarite vow.” Oh God, I believe today there’s a beautiful woman called the Bride because there’s a beautiful man called the Bridegroom. And I believe, Lord God, somehow, I not know somehow…I know that by Your grace You allowed man and woman to type it, and we see the sin out there, women undressing, men undressing, men having long hair, women having short hair, we look out there and we see that…that thing, the milieu of the church which is insidious and rotten and they call it God, completely fooled by the devil. But we’ve awakened unto righteousness as Paul said, “Awake, thou that sleepest, arise amongst the dead and Christ shall give thee life.” And whatsoever maketh manifest is light and we’ve seen it today that You’re Heb 13:8, You’re Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. You discern thoughts of hearts. You brought all things to light, and to judgment and yet men turn it down but there’s a Bride that doesn’t. God, I’m identified with that, at least in the understanding, if we are not Bride we are at least then friends of the Bridegroom, and we rejoice with Him as the strongman that ran a race and is now coming to the finish line, to grasp his Bride, and take her away from this hellhole and get her up there in the glories. And if we’ve got to die in the meantime, Lord, then it’s been a good death and a good race. It’s been a good thing, Lord. Whatsoever the Lord doeth, it is good. And in Him there is no shadow of turning. In Him there is no evil, there is no unrighteousness, Lord, and yet You said at the end time, the opening of those Seals, the righteous would be righteous still.
We can just call ourselves born ones of God in the Bride of Christ. 56. Now, what is the next thing? Praying always with the Word of God in mind to know that He will give you the strength and has given you, and you will call upon Him and believing Him to do what the Word said you’re to do. Now It says to women, “Don’t cut your hair.” But they’re going to do it anyway, because they got an excuse for it. And the excuse is, “Tell me, how does that make you spiritual?” Well, it proves you aren’t spiritual, I can tell you that. You don’t have to understand a lot of things, you just have to know that there’s a vindicated prophet. Neither my wife, nor I were concerned about hair. We both didn’t care.. I said, “Come on Bill, you know these long haired women, they’re so mean and their tongues so long, they can lick the jam off a doorknob.”

I got news for you: it's for men also. Bro. Branham said just as much about men with long hair as women with short hair. Except he had to delineate a little bit longer on the women with the short hair, because they started that ball rolling a long time ago. They said, “It's style.” 22. All right, we come to conduct. The true servants of God. Who are they? It ought to take a Christian to know that, nobody else would know. They can't discern who the other, they can't discern a Christian. Twice a week, that's sixteen, thirty two, as many as thirty two messages.
See? And do you know the same thing in a genuine Christian is veiled today, to unbelievers? They see them women with long hair and things, say it’s… “Look at that old model.” Women twist their hair up on the back, say, “Got a flat tire, spare tire up there.” See, It’s all veiled. They’re blind. “Oh,” they say, “I got a Ph.D, L…” I don’t care what you got, you’re still ignorant of the Word. Exactly right. “Oh, that, that’s just something minor. I…” Take the small lessons first. How about the people who say that they are veiled in the Presence of God, and preach some church tradition? Oh, mercy, goodness! Which adds to and takes from, and everything else, by injecting their own subjects and their own thoughts, and not the Word of God, see, what kind of a veil? That’s got an ecclesiastical veil. God has tore that veil wide open!
It’s up to us to follow. 64. [113] Now, historians, remember… And you who are going to hear this tape, check it up and find out if that’s not right. Out of what, possible 104 sermons? Fifty-two weeks in a year, two sermons… We covered some mighty good sermons. And then to see a book open like Who is This Melchisedec? And see from eternity to eternity, and to have a glimpse of understanding, which I admit isn’t still there the way it’s going to be. But there’s a foundation for ’89 to be more wonderful than ever because we have come to this understanding: though we do not understand the intricacies, and every single truth the way we’d like to understand it. This one thing we know, we believe what the prophet said as per the doctrine. That’s one thing we do know. We know the doctrine.
That’s pretty tragic, brother/sister, it’s very tragic. [23-2] Oh, may God help me, both present and in the tapes to pin that down! …no matter... You might have preached the gospel; you might have cast out devils; you might have spoken with tongues; you might have shouted; and danced in the Spirit; but without the Token... 44. Now he’s not only pleading; he’s warning. The Token and the Word, brother/sister, are one. So what part of the Token does anybody have that’s real Token and disagrees with the Word? It isn’t there. And yet that’s the criterion is that agreement with the Word because that’s where Israel fell out with Jesus. They said, “Listen, if you just kept your mouth shut, nobody would bother you.” And if Bro. Branham had gone in his great ministry with someone like Mr. Baxter and Mr. Lindsey and different ones go around the country doing his preaching and little man go on the platform and pray. They’d say, “He’s definitely the greatest guy living if he were living. But no he had to open his mouth and spoiled the whole thing. He believed in one God, Baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, a Bride different from the church, good old-fashioned long hair, long skirts, women acting like women and men like men.” Well, he died right there. They buried him just as deep as they could.
You can see what the world church has succumbed to which is women preachers and the acceptation of the homosexuals and not willing to place the Word of God within the framework and judge the people thereby so that they have principles from this Word that they know they must go by. 25. Like when brother…when we talked years ago, I talked with Bro. Branham. I said, “Bro. Branham, listen to me, why are you always talking about women with long hair?” I said, “I know these old gals out there with long hair, they could lick the jam off a doorknob.…They’re as mean as my old cow which would drag me across the prairie when I was a kid, and…I don’t know why you talk about long hair?” He said, “Bro. Vayle, I didn’t say it was a matter of righteousness or holiness. I just say, it’s a command that God gave.”
She is clothed in her right mind. She is not insane. Like Bro. Braham said, “The spirit of hell and insanity has left her.” She will never hallucinate to see those images come in, those birds that stretch across the heavens, and they scream out in terror in answer as big as telephone poles, and they imagine locusts with long hair, because women cut their hair. The Bride won’t see that. She sees Him. She’s at rest. Oh, yeah; it looks like turmoil, but she’s at rest. You say, “Lee Vayle, I don’t believe you’ve got any rest.” I’ve got news for you: you’re reading the covers. Get inside the covers. Get inside the covers. Yeah, she knows who she is, in her right mind, one with the Word. Here’s where she is. You see, the One who is Love is here. And I’m going to tell you something: because the Bride has received Him, He is going to receive her. The prophet said so. Everybody talks about; “Oh, He is going to receive a Bride.”

You think they’re hallucinating from drugs, you wait till those spirits attach themselves to those people, and they’ll see great big scorpions with long hair like women, and they’ll be screaming and screaming—hallucinating.
