Jesus here, make it personal, Jesus, you're here. Heavenly Father, we believe absolutely that that same Spirit that was in human flesh is here at this hour, for we know that Scripture has told us the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trump of God. We know that that Spirit, designated as the Spirit of Him, should be in the last day amongst us. revealing unto us those things which we are supposed to know, which will bring us together. We appreciate that. We cannot turn our backs upon it, Lord. We cannot believe for one minute that you came and then you went and you will come and you will go and then you will come and you will go with us. We don't believe that because the same one that taught us that the Lord would descend with a shout, which was a message, also saying which was a messenger to gather the people together. Same one said that he comes down, that one, to set himself at the head of the church in order to raise the dead. So we believe, Lord, that that is what is transpiring now. And we know that they with us cannot be made perfect, so therefore something is going on at this particular time where all things are coming in subjection. We believe that, Lord, and we do not know within ourselves that we have any of the earmarks that we can... Demonstrate to people by faith, Lord, we have received this word and stand with it until it becomes finalized. And finalization will mean, Lord, that there will be a resurrection. There will be a catching away. And then there will be a continuation of those things which are set forth in that vein. And so, Father, we stand here this morning in that assurance. And we thank you that we do not change our theme. We do not change the structure of it. We do not change anything except to believe that we're going from glory to glory as by the Spirit of the living God, conforming to the Word, bringing that Word to life in this hour. So, Lord, here we are. Let it be unto us according to Thy Word. To that end we consecrate ourselves. Help us, therefore, in everything said and done. We need Your help. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. You may be seated. You can just cut that for a minute for us. Just cut them. Keep on. Now, we've been dealing with the... Lord's Day,
which is the day of the master, the day of the husband, because we find that the word Lord is a word that's translated in a general, across -the -board sense, as to mean master, one in authority, a husband. We found in the first century that fourth century rather, A .D. I believe it is, I don't think it's B .C., could be B .C., that the word began taking on a very distinct understanding, so this is what ours would be, of a husband, a legal guardian of a girl, the owner and the possessor, you say, and the governor in his own household. Now, Moses, we know was a servant in a house which God built. But when it comes to Jesus, you'll find he's the master. So, looking at this word master, we found then that it's a general purpose word having to do with the thought mainly then of the legal husband, the legal possessor and governor in the house. And we just let it stay there because we're going into the day of the Lord and we'll be taking that particular facet as time goes on. But in the meantime, we're looking at other aspects of that day of the Lord and so we can lead up to what we're into on the judge. So we read in Revelation, the first chapter there. verses 10 begin with, I was in the Spirit in the Lord's day and heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet. In verse 12, I turned to see the voice that spake with me. Now, you'll notice in here that this book is a book of voices. And this voice is a particular voice because he turned to see
who was giving voice, as Brother Branham said, to see if it was a scriptural voice. And remember that you see by hearing. The Bible mentions here, blessed is he that readeth and they that hear the words. And so that you, when you read, you are literally hearing by way of the eyes. And when you hear, you are literally seeing by way of the... And we know that Samuel heard this voice of God speaking to him. And whatever the voice told him, you notice that Samuel said the Scripture says he feared to show Eli the vision. So here was somebody seeing with his ears. Now, that's not hard because you don't see with your eyes and you don't hear with your ears. You have an auditory nerve. and an optic nerve. And the auditory nerve goes from the ear and the optic goes from the eye and you see with your brain. Which if you blotted your eye out, you'd ruin the camera. If you plugged your ears, you'd not be able to hear. But specifically, if you injured a part of your brain, you wouldn't see and you wouldn't hear if you missed it. So really, what we're looking at here then is John... is turning in order to receive in his mind and in his spirit, which he is into, a revelation from God. Now, this is perfectly scriptural. Okay, let's go to Numbers, the twelfth chapter. And we'll get it.
Now, sixth verse here, this. God said, Hear now my words, if there be a prophet among you. I, the Lord, will make myself known unto him in a vision, and speak with him in a dream. Now, there you are. Seeing and speaking comes to a prophet. My servant Moses is not so. Who is faithful in my house. Not Moses' house, my house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even in view, in a shape.
Apparently doesn't simply mean it's apparent, which it does mean it's apparent.
The word apparent means in a shape or in a form which is apprehendable so that the one in that particular presence, particular presence which is the presence of God in a form, pillar of fire, whirlwind, you name it, cloud, rock, whatever, is speaking audibly to the person and not in dark speeches and similitudes. No. He's going to be speaking very directly. And he'll behold that figure that God presents. And then God will be dealing with that person through the figure that he presents to the prophet. So, you can see that this here is simply very tersely put forward. What would, of necessity,
transpire because this is how God does things. So, John was in the Spirit. And we found that literal translation of that is, or an extended translation or an enlarged translation could be, I came to be in Spirit to the Lord's day. In other words, he comes to a certain particular area that goes beyond where he is at this moment. and goes beyond to a stretch of time that isn't actually told us as to the number of years, and he comes to the day of the Lord. Now, there he begins to receive revelation at this time wherein the day of the Lord is adjudged. Now, you'll notice that he got out of his own spirit. you've got to be careful that you don't get your own spirit in the way because the spirit is a very facile thing. First of all, to begin with, as the child drops from the mother's womb, the child doesn't have a spirit. There's a spirit waiting there to receive that body, In combination with the soul that evidently the child has, because he was in his father's loins, and he had to get here somehow by natural generation, which he did, a lost sheep. And they're not all lost sheeps either. There could be reprobate or anything else. So this child dropping, male or female, receives one of these spirits. that Brother Branham said is not from God, but out of God. In other words, it is not of God as his Holy Spirit is, but it's a definitive spirit that he created. Now, Brother Branham seems to have deftly associated those spirits with angels so that there could well be many people possessed by fallen angels. and those who have a proper angel that didn't fall. Okay, what I'm driving at is this.
Because that spirit is on the outside of the soul, and it is not a genuine human spirit per se, as though you were born with it, and soul and spirit works through the flesh, which mostly... The Spirit works through the flesh because that's like an animus to the flesh. And that Spirit in there is one that was out here.
You wouldn't have a great deal of trouble of contacting what lies out here.
Now, the Scripture says, No man knows the things of man, say the Spirit of man that's in him. So the Spirit of man would be able to produce an Edison.
Or a Steinmetz. Not the piano. That's a Steinway. Steinmetz. Or a Telsa. Or almost anything.
See? Or a Russell. World famous under the time of Roosevelt. He could tap the universe. In fact, they call him the man that tapped the universe. But here's where preachers like Glenn Carton get all messed up because they're in unity and in Christian science. They never get a true rebirth. You see, that would allow them to really know the things of God.
Now, Paul said, no man knows the things that God say, the Spirit of God. But he said, because we're born again, we got the Spirit of God, which is now joined to our soul. Our nature, then, is a changed nature, and our knowledge and understanding will not be in the realm of men, who all men have this type of spirit. but they'll have a genuine spirit of God. It'll keep them with the Word. Now, I hope you're getting what I'm trying to tell you here. John is like every one of us, but he's born again. And he's got an office. Now, John says, I became to be in spirit. Now, he already was in his own spirit. There's no two ways about that. And he's not out here. tapping into something out here that can be fallacious. Albeit, could be very scientifically true. And a man learned wonderful secrets, which he might be a benefit in civilization to his brother and sister. But John was in the Holy Spirit. See? Now, let's get this. This is why you and I need a prophet to be 100 % in the Word. Because there's no way that you and I can get where John was, where Moses was, where William Branham was, or any prophet was. There is just no way. Now, that's why when people come along and they say, well, you know, Brother Bale, I know Brother Branham was a great man, but I've had something happen here, and you know me and my nature. And for me to be nice at a time like this is way beyond miraculous. It is divinely heavenly. And I'm ready to just rise up and take that guy apart. Because I know he hasn't got anything. Hogwash. Fat. There isn't one of them. Not one who can come near William Branham. Listen, I know the gamut. Don't talk to me. I've been out there. Now, they feel they don't need a prophet. See? They don't need somebody who can become in spirit.
See? And listen, when you do, get this flat. Now, let's get this flat. And I mean flat, flat, flat.
If you're not ready to take it, I'm going to pray for you. Pray for yourself. Because this is tough. A prophet can say nothing of his own will.
Can say nothing of his own will. I might get a prophet so mad, he'd like to say to me outside the spirit, Lee Bailey, I'd like to kill you. And I'd say, fine, because you talked in your spirit. But you get that man in the spirit of God. He is just like Balaam before Balak. And old Balaam looked down and he said, I can tell. He said, it's going to be a cinch. It's going to be a walk over. That is a bunch of riffraff. And the minute his spirit left him. And he was in the spirit of God. He said, I cannot say anything of myself. There's no way I can curse them. They're beautiful. They're wonderful. Now, a lot of people, you know, they could be like Balaam. But in the spirit, there is no way when you come here. You've got to understand it's definitive. Now, this is definitive. One person said to Brother Branham, John must have had some hot peppers. Well, that's fine if that's the kind of person you are. You'll get your hot peppers, but that's down the road. But you better repent. Because that's blaspheming, literally blaspheming the Word of God. This is a fantastic book. And what John saw was 100 % right. He knew what he was saying. He knew what he saw.
And it takes a prophet at the end time to open it. And that's Revelation 10 and 7. See? Now John saw this day of the Lord that we're looking at. Everything here is 100%. There isn't one thing that's off key. There isn't one thing interpolated. There's not one thing left out. That's exactly why he said you can't add and you can't take.
Because he said I didn't get this of myself. I became in my spirit to the Lord's day. Like Brother Branham said, I get alone. And he said, I take up my parable. So I went to Brother Branham years ago. And I said, Brother Branham, I said, do you know this business of being a prophet? I said, there's something to it that a lot of people don't get. I said, there's something in there that man's got that he knows he's got. And he's able to fill the office. Brother Branham, what do you mean? Well, I said, I'll tell you. Take the case of Balaam. I said, that old boy knew exactly what to do. He knew he could swing into it. Oh, he says, certainly, brother Baal. Didn't you read where he said he took up his parable?
Wasn't building all, or did he? He was taking up his parable. He said what people try to, what is this thing they call the mantra? The eeny, meeny, miny, moe stuff. Mantra, mantra, shmantra, who cares? Bunch of hogwash. But a prophet has a real parable, and brother Branagh says, certainly, and I take up mine, but I won't tell you the words I say.
Now, look it. He told us, he said the best he could tell us. I get alone by myself and I say something like two and two. He said it suddenly begins breaking in. Like two and two or four, two and two or four, two and two or four, fast, fast, fast, fast. Suddenly you break into it. Now I'm going to tell you something. I don't know much about prophecy. Get this flat. I know prophecy. But I do know enough about visions. And I do know enough about a trance. Although I'm not great at trances because I haven't been into a trance except with my eyes wide open looking out just watching what I was seeing. And I'm going to tell you this, brother, sister. You haven't got any more to do with that than a hog has to circle the globe up there in that space shuttle.
Nothing. Nothing.
And I'm going to tell you something. It's so far apart from you, it'll scare the living daylights out of you if you've got living daylights in you. It'll scare you.
There's nothing that God ever gives that isn't serious and very sober. And John was very serious and sober. When he left his own spirit, and I'm not saying he left his spirit, stuck it over there. I'm just saying he got away from the entire influence of his spirit and he went plumb into transcend vision right out there. And he began looking and hearing. When that voice spoke, the whole thing formed before him, no doubt. And it was a conversational voice because God said, I will speak with him. Notice John spoke back and forth. Moses spoke back and forth. Paul spoke back and forth. We know that Paul spoke back and forth because he said, I besought the Lord three times concerning this. And the voice came and spoke to me and said, My grace is sufficient for you. So we know that here we're into a perfectly tremendous portion of Scripture that a prophet of Revelation 10 and 7 says, This is the day of the Lord. And John saw him as judge. So we're looking at it. All right, the day of the Lord. That's what we're looking at to begin with. And we asked the Christians last Sunday, when did the Lord Jesus ever have his day? Well, we know he never did have his day. According to Isaiah 53, 7 and 8, because it categorically says he was oppressed, he was afflicted, he opened not his mouth, he has brought us the lambs, the slaughters, the sheep before the shearers, the dumps, he opened not his mouth. He was taken from prison from judgment. Who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living. For the transgression of my people was restricted. Now, he was cut off. He never had his day. He died at age 33 and a half, as far as we know. Three and a half years of that is the 70th week. The last week of the seven years. He was cut off. So, since then, he's been engaged in mediatorial and intercessory ministering. So, he's never had his day.
See? No way. So that day is going to come. Now, this is man's day. Now, let's go back to Genesis, the third chapter. And verse 22. The Lord God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us to know good and evil. And now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and live forever. Now, that's not immortality or eternality. That's from the ages to the ages. Now, he said, If this man puts forth his hand now, and he had, the ability to do it, or would not be said, he would have lived for the age to the age where God had planned something different.
Now, man has been living for 6 ,000 years, but not one man.
There has to be a time when God changes his regimen. Now, he had a flesh and blood man who could sin. A flesh and blood man who, when he sinned, Nature would rise against them, so there'd be prickles on the roses. And there would be bare teeth and fangs of animals. There would be poison that could be released by animals, snakes and things. Bugs also. Where the man could be tortured and tormented. In fact, the Bible said hell traded for the devil and his angels. Some men will go to and they'll be tortured and tormented. That's true. We make no bones about it. Now, man has a period of time that has been allotted him. And that would take in the earthly span before there's a change. And that would take in the future span, which will end in annihilation. You see how it all adds up? Just one little verse tells you everything.
Now, man had that ability. And he's still got the ability to live on. Now, let's go over here to Revelation 10.
And we'll see verses 5 and 6. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea, and upon your little face, hand heaven. and swear by him to live forever and ever, with great heaven and things that are in the earth, and things that are therein, and the sea and the things that are therein, that time should be no longer. Now, he tells you that this one, at the time of the day of the Lord, because that's where John is looking at, way down at the end, when the great one will become a judge, he says, time runs out. Now, what time is running out? Time for the seven church ages.
Time for resurrection. Time for the bride to be immortalized. All of these things, in other words, he sees man's time run out.
See? Now, it's not that time itself ceases. That goes on for a thousand years into the white throne until the new Jerusalem comes on earth, which is recreated. It doesn't have the water. Like our earth today is five -sixth water, one -sixth land. The days to come is going to be six -sixth. People worry about feeding 4 billion people on one -sixth of the land. What could you feed on six -sixths of the land? If you can feed 4 billion people, you could go ahead and put another 20 billion out there. See, everybody worries. Why worry? Because time has run out. So we see, time has run out here. Man's day is about to close. The reason is, is that Jesus has been promised a day. The great one we're looking at. Let's go back to Psalms. Now, I want you to listen to what I'm saying and put it all together.
6 and 7.
Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever. And the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness and hate wickedness. Therefore, God thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Now, it tells you that God is going to institute a throne for this certain person. And he will rule. As divinely as divinity himself. There will not be an appreciable difference because there will be no difference.
Because the great spirit God will be in him. All right? With that we go to Psalm 11.
No, 110. I didn't think it would be Psalm 11 if we go backward.
110. I guess is what I want. Beginning the first verse. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou in my right hand till I make thine enemies thy footstool. Then it says, The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion. Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Now listen. At the right hand, he's got to wait until, he says, the enemies become the footstool. And at the same time, he tells you that rod, which is the strength of Zion, is going to rule over the enemies. which is he takes over in Revelation 19 with a rod of iron. Revelation 19, 11. I saw one, you know, seated upon a white horse, and the armies of heaven followed him. And out of his, he was crowned with many crowns, king to king, and lord to lord. And out of his mouth goes a sharp two -edged sword, and so on. Now, watch also. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power. In the beauty of holiness from the womb of the morning, thou hast the dew of thy youth. In other words, He never gets old. He died at age 33 and he rose up looking like what? 17 years old.
There he is. The Lord has sworn he will not repent. Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen. He shall fill places with dead bodies. He shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook on the way. Therefore shall he lift up the head. Now he's telling you right there how he's going to take over his kingdom. He's going to have a day when every enemy is under his feet and set to one side. He will reign in the millennium. Then you're going to have a white throne judgment, destroy everything that should be destroyed, and everything's going to be wonderful. Now he's going to have his day. He doesn't have his day right now. Man has his day. And it's fortunate that man has him who will have his day as his advocate. Because he has him as his... Mediator, which is to get him in. And the intercessor, which is to keep him in.
And as long as anybody needs keeping, which is until the day that he's glorified, you've got somebody up there representing you. So don't talk to me about blood off the mercy seat and haven't got this and haven't got that. No way, shape, and form. Because we do have him. See? And one day though, one day though he will no longer be that one. And then you watch the wrath really fall. When the 144 ,000 get sealed in Omi, there's nothing left but just shockwave after shockwave till the whole thing is gone.
It's just going to be a tremendous day. All right. Now, this is man's day, but he has promised his own day. Now, let's look at that over in Luke, the fourth chapter. I'm running this back again over because I'm trying to teach in such a way that you can become crystallized in your thinking, not to be crystallized in the idea. like you add one drop of sugar to a solution and the whole thing crystallizes and you're shot. You know, you kind of lose your elasticity. I'm talking about where you understand what is being preached concerning the hour in which we are in and what is going on. Because I'm sorry to say I've had too many phone calls where people, I'm sorry, they just don't know what I'm saying. Now, I know what I'm saying. And I hate to be a copycat like Brother Branham and say, well, he said, I know what I'm saying. Maybe you don't get what I'm saying, but I know what I'm saying. Just can't express it right. Well, I can't go that far, Brother Branham, because lots of things he knows I don't know. And if I did know, I'm sure that I would have some way to express them in a sense of my knowledge. And then I'd say, well, I know it, and it's the best I can tell you. We have different ways of doing things. Like you have different ways of doing for me. All right, the fourth chapter. In 16th verse, he came to Nazareth, being brought up, and as his custom was, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he appointed me, anointed me to proclaim the gospel to the poor, sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach to the captives, to recover the sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the exception of the year of the Lord, and he closed the book.
Now, you'll notice that He had something to do which was vicarious. It had nothing to do with himself.
Never said a thing about himself. There was nothing there to say about himself. It was what he was doing. And would continue to do. But now let's go back to Isaiah 61 where that's taken from. And watch it.
to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and he sat down. But he also has to proclaim and make evident the day of the vengeance of our God to comfort all that mourn. That's what I read in the Psalms. We
don't have several different Bibles just because it's repeated in different places and several different themes. It's one theme.
And you notice that Jesus even changed the words from the book of Isaiah. Why? Because he was a prophet when he did it. And William Branham could come on the scene and he could take the word of God. That you and I say, hold it, William Branham. You're not quoting it right. Absolutely he's quoting it right. Trouble is we've got too many chicken brains. Not enough eagle brains.
Chicken brains, pick them in our pile. Follow the cow to see if they can pick a little grain of wheat out of a plot. Eagles get up there and get the fresh food. They look down. They see the whole picture. Now, pardon my language, but I use that on purpose. If you don't like it, well, just whip a rose or something a little smelly, eh? I don't feel bad about eagles. I don't feel bad about me. So don't you feel bad about me. Chickens and eagles are two different things. In fact, eagles don't particularly care for chickens. Or they like them roasted or something like that.
Maybe not nice, but I never said I was a nice person. I am a nice person when it comes to this. I won't hold anything back from you if I can get it across with a 4x4 or a language which is even. I said, Brother, why don't you just use nice language? You wouldn't even get it if I used nice language.
You wouldn't get it. You'd be still wondering what I'm saying. Now there's no reason to believe otherwise. Look here. We showed you just what he said here. From Luke. Go to Isaiah. And that great day is coming. And it's said many, many times in many ways in Scripture. And John saw it coming. And he puts into intimate detail what lies there because everybody's messed up on Daniel's 70th week.
Everybody but us believe it's seven solid years. It's not. There are those who claim to believe this message like the brother down there in Clarksville. I think his church is. He followed Brother Brandon. Every time Brother Brandon went somewhere, he was right on his footsteps. Brother Brandon taught the truth and he taught his error.
He was there and then. He's an error right now. Because he said if Brother Brandon came back, he'd admit that I was right and he was wrong. How could that be? You ever hear such hogwash? Once he got vindication, I cannot vindicate him 10 to 1 in my background. And I got no vindication. It was all bad. I was doing what I shouldn't have done. Well, let's come on. What about if you, if one of you guys here was a tremendously beautiful artist? Well, if we combine the talents of both Marilyn and Brown, we might get, well, we'd get some awful good artwork. I know that because they're very good. And we throw in little old Kim Applegate and she's, for her age, she's fantastic. Now, what if we got all these talents in here and you were able to do beautiful artwork and somebody signed you on a home to do some artwork and you walked in the wrong door and put your lovely artwork on the wrong building?
You're messed up, aren't you? Well, that's what I'm trying to show you here. You've got to be in the groove here. You've got to be in the position, in the place and all. The thing has to line up. It doesn't matter what talent and how wonderful a person has. It doesn't matter how great a ministry or anything else.
It's got to line where God put it to line. So, all right. We get along here now. Now, look at here. The day of the Lord is coming.
It's upon us as per the hour in which we live, which His judgment has struck and is beginning to strike even more. Now, as I say, this fellow here that followed Brother Branham, he got things, he got a ministry, what have you, anything else? I had a ministry, what have you, anybody else has? It took the prophet to know what he taught us concerning this what he saw down the road and his own place in it. And he identified himself as Revelation 10 and 7 in the presence of Revelation 10 and 1. And he identified Revelation 10 and 1 as Revelation 5 and 1, which was the one seated on the throne. And Revelation 1 and 12 is when he turned around to see the voice. And he said, that one that was in the flesh is here in spirit. And he proved it by the ministry.
So, therefore, once the ministry vindicated God to the prophet, it vindicated the prophet to the people, and it brought the people right to God in order to find out what God had. And God had a revelation. He had a message. Now, that's where we're at. Okay. Let's go to Acts, the third chapter now.
So we can begin to see more of this. We're talking about the day of the Lord.
The third chapter in 12. Now here's where the miracle was done through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. That was in Peter, James, and John, and who else? As they went down to the gate, Peter and John, and this man was healed. And when Peter saw the people were wondering and trying to make something out of it that they shouldn't have made out of it, he pointed them to what was supposed to be made out of it. That's what Brother Branham did. And they turned him down flat like Israel did here.
Now, you see, God did a great thing. Then the men were responsible to tell what it was all about. William Branham could stand before the people and say, I challenge you, bring me your worst case. And he guaranteed healing. And the person was healed. Well, so what does that indicate? Tell us, prophet. Tell us, man. What does that sign indicate? What is the voice of the sign?
Well, when the prophet told what the sign was, they said, drop dead. Because we got as much as you. In fact, we think we got more. Because you're an uneducated hillbilly. Gee, I should have half the brains he had. And the smarts would go with it. Never mind even what the Holy Ghost gave me.
You know, I guess it's just the way a person's appetite is. I went into this place 10 years ago now. 10 years, yeah. 13 years ago now in Sweden. Suna. Suna, yeah. It's very famous when you go through there for vacations. It's a lovely resort country, but they got a cafeteria that every bus stops at because it's so good. I'd imagine some people went in there and they looked at it and they said, well, fat. They were used to hominy grits, which I've done nothing against. I just don't want any, at least right now. And I don't know what else they're used to, you know, maybe some sour belly that's been sort of done with beans and all that's all right. If you like them, I don't particularly like them. But they had this great big dish of what I thought just had to be. cold, chilled crab meat. And I said, $2 American money and I've been on a diet. I am going to bust my diet wide open and bust me wide open. And you talk about going back and I kept filling my plate until, you know, my stomach said, whoa. My tongue didn't and my mouth didn't and my throat didn't. Everything else put the brakes on. Now, something I'm trying to tell you is this. You see, what I saw It was good for me. I loved it. It whetted my appetite. It did a lot of things for me. Somebody else come along, it meant nothing. Well, that's the way the prophet was. We have the table spread. We have the perfect revelation of the hour. And their people haven't got any time for it because their appetite doesn't run in God's gourmet restaurant.
They couldn't stand the man. I'm going to tell you something. I wouldn't care if manna tasted like coal oil with a dash of turpentine. If I could get my hands on a barrel full of it. Oh, bless God. I can just feel everything rolling away now. Oh, not just my burdens. I can feel the aches and the pains dissolving. I can see the 20 -20 vision both forward and hindsight coming. I can see my clothes not wearing up. I wouldn't feel bad about that. Although some of my suits I just hated to see go down the drain. because I knew I'd never get another just like it. And some shoes, I'll never get them again. So, my goodness me, just think, if I could get a hold of a barrel of manna that tasted like kohl with a dash of turpentine and a half a pound of cayenne pepper thrown in just to make my ears ring, I'd still stick my head in. And I'd slop that up so fast. I'm going to tell you something, Brother Sitter. What I'm trying to tell you here is this word which we have is for the day of the Lord to get us out of here. The prophet ministry is what vindicated this was the word.
Now, John looked down there and saw it.
See? And he saw God on this earth. And he saw a prophet on this earth. And these men say, well, you know, well, we've had such a great time over here in the chicken yard. Now, I never did say I like picking, dropping wheat and stuff out of manure. I didn't tell you that. I said kerosene and a dash of turpentine and a pound of red pepper. But I never said one thing about the manure heap. I just want to make sure that's on tape, you see. Somebody might think, well, oh, Baal goes for everything. Well, Baal doesn't go for everything. Because you see, Israel said, we loathe this manna. And I don't know one person who actually really enjoyed it. As the scripture says, there's many things you don't enjoy now. But down the road, oh, the peaceable fruit of the Spirit. I wouldn't trade. Now listen, God is my judge. I'm a copper and a complainer about many things. But I'm not a repiner. I don't ever intend to go back to nothing. And what I've gone through has done me good. Done me a lot of good. May tear me down physically. Well, praise God. Get out of here quicker. I just hope I don't drag out in little pieces. All right, anyway, we're looking at this over here in the book of Acts. And we saw this wonderful demonstration, and the people said, what is going on anyway? They couldn't figure it. And this man was supposed to tell them, and he told them.
As I say, what voice spoke to a great man in the world today in Pentecost? When Brother Branham, that man who was full of devils, fell at Brother Branham's feet. He says, Brother Branham said, Satan, because you challenged the servant of the Most High God. I command you to fall at my feet. And they claimed that the guy walked like a serpent. He just stood like this and fell right across Brother Branagh's feet. And they had to get two big cops to pull him off Brother Branagh's feet.
And that's when the fellow said a voice of death. He said, that's Bible days. That's what you're supposed to do. You can do it. Where did Peter say, hey, bless God, let me tell you. For I've got a hold of a 220 live wire here. And I'm just full of fire. God, let me tell you. I'll lay hands on you. You'll get gifts. You'll go around the world healing sick. Hallelujah. That's the way God does it for me. Bless God. Now, pass the plate. $50 here, $50 here.
Well, what about it? Don't tell me, look, I was in Pentecost. And let me tell you another thing. You get a free Methodist, if he had this, he'd be rotten to a Pentecostal. And you get a Southern Baptist, get this, he'd be rotten to a free Methodist. Because people are people. They don't change since God changed them. Peter said, I'm going to tell you about it. He said, first of all, get this. It's nothing that I have got intrinsically that did anything to this. I don't have one ounce of it. I don't have any wholeness. He said, I don't have any power. So Peter said, I got no power. I got no holiness. But he said, what made this man walk? The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, of Jacob, the God of our fathers had glorified his son Jesus. Now he glorified him whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate. Now listen, the one that he glorified had a former glory that he got back. Hear what I said? If you want to listen, I shall pray it again. Now we get this in the book of John, which I'm not going to fool with right now because I'll save it later. But this one that he glorified in a human state was the one who was restored to the former glory which he had in his pre -existence.
Now, like father, like son. If you didn't catch it, let's just think about it.
Now it says you denied the Holy One and the just. Desire to murder be granted unto you.
When they turned down the end time prophet, they turned down the presence of God. What are they desiring? Now, don't tell me they're not desiring something. Because these people here desired God. And they changed him for a murderer.
The Bible, Brother Branham correctly said, from the word of God, you don't take the seal of the seal of the spirit, you take the seal of the antichrist. You don't take the mark of God, you take the mark of the antichrist. You've got your choice. Now, he said, you killed the prince of life whom God raised up from the dead. Forever witnesses. And his name through faith in his name has made this man strong. You can see him know. And he goes on down here. He said, Now brethren, I know the three that you did it. And did your rulers also. But those things which God before it showed by the mouth of all his prophets that God should suffer, Christ should suffer, he hath fulfilled. You say, well, not just a minute. What if at this end time people ignorantly turn down God? I've got news for you. It's over. It's run out. Genesis 3 .22 has run out.
See? It's gone.
There's no Hebrews. Six is in order. There is no more repentance. So
the last group are stuck.
You say, I don't think that's nice. Well, it doesn't really matter what you and I think. Let's just find out something over here.
Matthew 23. 32, Philip, then the measure of your fathers. You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets and wise men of scribes, some you'll kill and crucify. Some will scourge in synagogues and persecute city to city. That's what God said he'd do and he did it. Now listen. That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth. From the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Barakai, to whom he slew between the altar and the temple. Verily I say, all this come upon this generation. And it did in 70 A .D.
70 A .D. Now listen. Jesus said that at age 33 and a half.
33 and a half years later. It was gone.
1963, the seals open. 33 and a half years. Brings you to 1986.
Knock off or add on a year or two because I don't know dates. I'm just guessing, just making little remarks. Take the three and a half. We're right at the door, brother, sister, the day of the Lord.
Now he says here, I know they were ignorant, but those things which God before showed by the mouth of all his prophets that Christ should suffer is fulfilled. But this time, He's not going to suffer.
This time he gets his day.
The hour of reckoning is here.
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sin may be blotted out. When times are refreshing, you shall come from the presence of the Lord.
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which was proclaimed unto you. In other words, the one that you look for that died, he's going to come back. But he can't do it, for the heavens will keep him there until times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Now it tells you he can't come down and set his foot upon earth.
Not until the enemies are made the footstool.
See? And when he does come, he's got a bride coming with him. She's going to reign and rule. For Moses truly said to the fathers, For prophecy of the Lord your God raise up in your presence like unto me. Him you'll hear in all things whatever you say to you. Now it doesn't say he's already said it all. Because at that point he hadn't said it all. Paul hadn't even brought the word to the Gentiles. And John followed Paul and wrote the book of Revelation. And Paul said in Hebrews 12, he's going to talk again. And he explained how he talked in the prophets. So he's got to come away of a prophet again. And when he does, it says, our God of consuming fire sets up his kingdom.
That's the time that everybody that doesn't listen is destroyed. How are you going to have a millennium then full of people that are standing here living? Outside of a glorified group. I'd like to know. Why the days of Gentiles are over. The 144 ,000 in. What's left?
Come on, anybody can add two and two make four for land's sake. We're not deaf, dumb, and stupid any longer. Get people still puzzled. Is it going to be this? It was in the scripture the prophet told you. Here it is laid out in front of you. The Gentiles are finished. The Jews are finished. What's left? He's left with the bride. Man alive. I just can't see. Look, maybe I'm stupid. Just forgive me. But that's all right. I'm just going to stay stupid. I can't help it. My brain just can't go any other way than what I see here. It'll come to soul every past that won't hear. That prophet shall be destroyed among the people. What prophet? That one that you killed. And now he's raised up. Who said he's not a prophet?
See, that's where they missed out. They said, well, he's a prophet. Then he's no longer a prophet. So they missed the book of Luke entirely. The days of the Son of Man appear. When he's prophet again.
Now, how's he going to be prophet? He can't come down in the flesh and be prophet.
Because when he comes down, he's taking over. What's the prophet sound when you take over? Once they prophesy, somebody knocks at the door. And you say, who is it? And you sit there bowing with a four by four. What's the prophesy? That's how he's coming in destruction. What's the prophesy? I don't understand people. Always too late. Always too late. Oh, he'll do this. Oh, no, he won't. He's done it. All right. Day of the Lord.
Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel. And those that follow after. Now, notice he mentions Samuel. Elijah's going to restore. He talks about Moses. Talks about Samuel. Talks about Jesus. That's deliverance. Now you're the children of the prophet. And the covenant which God made of their father, saying to Abraham, And in thy seed shall all kindreds of the earth be blessed. That was a prophecy. That's fulfilled.
There's nothing to come that's finished. The Jews think it's going to come their own. The only future fulfillment is in the form of the glorified. It's a continuing promise. Unto you first, God having raised up his son, standing to bless you. Now he's talking about the one that died was raised up and came to them. How? In the form of the Holy Spirit.
And Brother Branagh said, God's got to raise him again to the Gentiles. And he's done it. Who's
the pillar of fire company? Paul. Jew.
Now when God raised him up again, what's he going to do? He's going to send the Gentiles.
Because there's got to be a people. There's got to be a resurrection. There's got to be a rapture.
People just let their minds go blank. They don't want to pay any attention. But here it is. The same one that was here in the form of the flesh is here in the pillar of fire. Came down and a prophet was on earth. Now, he sent to bless the Gentiles, the same as Israel, as he turned them, as he turned, wanted to turn Israel as a nation. They wouldn't come. Now he's down here turning the last of the Gentiles away from iniquity. Right. Raised up to this hour. Okay. So there we see. He's having his day. Now, John said here then in plain English, using my English, of course, not drawing conclusion, but just talking about it.
John saw man's day ending and the day of the Lord coming into view. So then the book of Revelation is a book of prophecy exactly as it's claimed to be by John. It's a book of Revelation. It's a juncture because it shows one ending and another coming into view. And Brother Branagh said it takes a prophet to turn a corner. He said it's a juncture period. So therefore there was a prophet on the scene before there could be this literal day of the Son of Man come into view and come into being. It is a prophetic declaration of the time that elapses as man's days end in judgment and God's day comes in the millennium. As we see it in Revelation 19, 11 to chapter 21 to 6, which we won't go into because we read it many times. You should know it by now. I'm sure you do. All right. Let's go to Malachi and see what we're looking at. Because here we have the keys.
Okay. In Malachi 3 and 2. But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appears? For he's like a refiner's fire and a fuller's stove. Now what's he doing? He's giving somebody a scrub down.
Somebody's getting the bath.
Kind of take the hydrate off you almost.
It'll absolutely purge you. As you never knew you could be purged and the purging is by fire. That's not the lake of fire.
It's only one kind of fire. That's it. That's Holy Ghost fire, brothers. Let's face it. All right. And the washing of water is by the word. Now, and purged. Purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Now, come on. What offering in righteousness are they going to offer? A lamb? Are they going to bring blood again? There's no more shedding of blood. It's all over. There's no more lambs to be offered. It's all over. It's gone. Antitype has washed out conclusively once and for all every type.
Offer unto God in righteousness. I don't care what they offer. It's not what they offer. It's how they offer.
See, that's the thing. Go back to Genesis. Scripture says that Abel brought an offering of the sheep. And Cain also brought an offering of the earth. A first fruit offering. And God had respect to Abel's offering, but not to Cain's. Now, why? Because he said, thou hast rightly offered. but thou hast not rightly divided.
Paul says, study to show thyself approved unto God. See, rightly dividing the word of truth. Workmen need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Now the workman, which was as Cain, was ashamed before God,
killed his brother. Now look, let's go to the book of Revelation, the third chapter.
And let's understand this. Verse 17, Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods. and have needed nothing, and knowest not that wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, I counsel thee to buy me gold, trite, and the fire, that thou mayest be rich, and the white raiment ye may be clothed, and the shame of thy nakedness do not appear.
Be manifested. Now, at the same time over here in 1 John, the first epistle, the
second chapter, 28th verse, And thou, little children, abide in him that when he shall appear, that's the appearing there, the absolutely made visible, come into full view, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his presence.
The Son of Man revealed. Now, you see then, what was it? The offering in righteousness. We'll go back there to Malachi. The third chapter. An offering in righteousness isn't then the precisely of what they are doing.
But the fact that it is scriptural in understanding and in application. In other words, as Brother Branham said, Abel had the revelation and Cain didn't. That's just what we're looking at. See? All right. We go to verse 18. Then shall you return and discern between the righteousness and wickedness. Between him that serves God and him that serves him not. Now, who served God? Abel did. Who didn't serve God? Cain didn't serve God. All right, listen. Whose deed was unrighteous? Cain's was unrighteous. Now, there you go to 1 John. What is it, the fifth chapter? You get the picture there.
Now, no, that's not it. It's the third chapter. And this is the message during the game. We love one another. Not as Cain was the wicked one that slew his brother. Wherefore slew he him? Because his own deeds were evil or unrighteous and his brothers were righteous.
See? Now, it tells you that they'll be turned. And when they are turned, and only then will there be an offering to God. In other words, worship to God will only be acceptable under certain conditions. Now, let's get this flat, brother and sister. You and I think we worship God here. Oh, come on. This is just a type to what we're going to get into. Wait till we're gathered around the throne. Wait till we're in that other land. I'm not saying this worship isn't real. Don't get me wrong there. I'm just telling you flat. In this form, we are liable to errors. And that's what's happened ever since the Garden of Eden. The misapplication of the word due to a wrong revelation. It was a wrong revelation that got this world off track. It's a right revelation that's going to put the world back on track. See?
See, man could have just gone down the road for 6 ,000 years and got glorified. Got into sin. Now man's in sin 6 ,000 years. God's going to get him out. And the heart is going to be turned back. Now watch. He says here. Then shall you return and discern your righteousness and wickedness. Between him that serves God and him that serves him not. Now over here it says they'll offer unto God a righteous sacrifice or offering. Now we're going to do the same thing. Now our sacrifice is from our mouths.
The Bible calls the capital lips. The fruit of the lips. How can you offer back to God that which is off the word? God won't take it. Now, for behold, the day cometh and the burn is in oven. All the proud, all the doigity shall be stubble. Tells you right there. In the day that I do this, I'm leaving neither root nor branch. Now, he said, in that day of the turning of the hearts back is the same day that God comes forth as destroyer.
Now, you do what you want about it. But that's what it says. And that's where people get plumb off a track. They want to put Elijah way back to the Jews or someplace else he doesn't belong there. Okay.
Now, God says that these people are his jewels. He's going to spare them. Now, let's go to Luke 17 and 24. And
I'll skip some of these things here because we've gone into them before.
For his lightning, the light of thought of one part of heaven shines on the other part. So shall also the Son of Man be in his day. 17 and 30. Even thus it will be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Now watch what happens. In that day. Not a 24 hour period. In
that time. Which is also called a season. And according to the book of Isaiah, it's a period of time. Now in that period of time. When the Son of Man is revealed. Now, he that shall be on the house, stop when he's stopped from the house, let him not come down to take it away. He in the field, let him not turn back. Remember Lot's wife. Now remember, when you're dealing with this, you're dealing with Exodus. And when you deal with Lot's wife, you're dealing with the murmuring of Israel. And Israel said, it would be better to be in Egypt. At least there's good food there. I can't stand this manna. I'm so used to the onions and the garlic and the fried liver and all the good things you used to have down there. When the river Nile overflowed, it was just beautiful. All those good things there, they were so pungent and so wonderful. Oh, this man is too dull. Oh, it's too dull, you people that believe this message. We want to go back and run around and jump and scream and talk in tongues and lay hands on the sick. That's fine. Prophesy and do everything. Go ahead and do it. Be my guest, but don't do it around here. If you want to do it, we'll have a little room back there. And you just see what happens. I'll even go with you. I'm not chicken. I'm eagle. Don't worry about it. I'll just bring it with you. You see, because I know I've been in the realm of gifts. Something comes, it comes. It doesn't come, it doesn't come. I'm going to force nothing. No. So you say, a guy like you? Sure, a guy just like me. Don't sell me short. I ain't nervous as a cat in a hot brick because of what I go through. But I can just suddenly die just like this and stand right still. Don't think I can't because I can.
Sure.
Yeah. Don't sell the things of God short, brother, sister.
It's dangerous. Listen. She turned back.
Now, whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. That word is suki, that's the soul.
He that becomes a legalist and tries to work out some kind of a program to make it, ain't going to make it. You're shot before you finish. So I sing that song, Brother Bill, we are climbing Jacob's ladder, ladder. Well, go ahead and try to climb it, because God lets down when you ain't going to climb it.
Oh, these legalists, they've got it all down pat. Yep. Oh, you've got to pray so many hours and do this and do that. Even got a book at the back where you can write your testimony in.
I should tell you some of the funny things I know, but you might laugh yourself to death and I want you to lie for a while. Oh, brother, sister. Don't know what Brother Brandon came in the scene for. Damn, the least, the foggiest idea. Don't know what this word's all about. Haven't got the foggiest idea.
Just because I let them know flat. It's not character, not prayer, not this and not that. They say, well, Vail doesn't believe in that. So I'd make a test. I'd say, raise your hand. How many of you guys pray with your wife twice a day? Not nobody in the room raises their hands. I could go all the preachers around about the country. Say they believe this message. Then say, I don't believe in prayer? Somebody's nuts and it sure ain't me. Got a bunch of liars out there.
Brother Brown called him that. He said, if you believe this word, he said, you'd act it.
And the first thing a man does, he tells lies. Second thing he does, he gets an immoral sex. A man that lies and has absolute fabricated prevarications that he indulges in, and that's his nature. And a man that's out there sexually, you know they've got no more Holy Ghost than nothing. There's no way. Because there comes a day that you're born again, you've stopped that stuff. You just get out of it.
The Bible tells you a plan. Yeah, it tells you. Listen. Look, I don't want to belabor that subject. I've gone into time after time. The first thing the Bible says outside the New Jerusalem at that time, the seals are red. And the seals are brought to our attention. The 22nd chapter. It's just to give you an idea what it says. It's not going to make it. It tells you a plumb flat there. It said, blessed are they that wash their robes. See that four or so. Sure, they get the word. Get the inside treatment. Enter the gates for without her dogs, male prostitutes, homosexuals.
And people say, well, it really doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter? You're gone. You say, well, what can I do? Well, I've dealt with homosexuals. I've freaked a friend of mine down south with it. Nice guy. But dealt with a woman years ago. Got delivered. Paul says, such were some of you. That you got right here. Look at here. He that seeks to save his life shall lose it.
But I'm not a moralist for the sake of morals. But I'll stay in the word. Now, I tell you, at that night there should be two in one bed. Now, somebody put men in there. That's generically speaking. I wouldn't believe that for one minute. Two men sleeping in the bed of males. Two in the bed speaking. One taking one lift. Two grinding together, said women. Why women? Because the women are supposed to grind. What makes you think a man can't grind?
Two grinding, one taking one lift. Two in the field, one taking one lift. And the answer said, where, Lord? And he said, where the carcass is, and Brother Branham identified that as the rapture. The message for the rapture. Now, it tells you then here categorically that the Lord has a specific day, a specific period of time. Let's go to John 6 and 39.
This the Father's will has sent me. Let me see. I shouldn't go down there at this point too far. Well, it's all right. 6 and 39. This the Father's will sent me, that which is given me, I should lose nothing, should raise it up again at the last day. Now notice he says last day. All right, just a minute now. There's no more days left after rapture for the Gentiles, except destruction. All that's left is three and a half years. So he tells you, at that time, the day of the Lord, which John saw was the last, there's going to be resurrection. Okay? Let's go to Revelation.
Let's see chapter 11. Verse 18. And the nations are angry and thy wrath has come. And the time of the dead. That they should be judged. And you give rewards to your servants of prophets and saints. And them that fear your name small and great. And should destroy the earth. Now look what he's all got bundled in there. That's not a 24 hour period. That's a time.
That's a time element in there. Let's go back to John 6.
Number 40. This the will of him that sent me. That every one that seeth the Son. and believeth on him may ever have everlasting life. And I'll raise him up at the last day. Okay? 44. No man can come except the Father who sent me to draw him. I'll raise him up at the last day. 54. Who say eateth my flesh and drinks my blood of eternal life? Raise him up at the last day. Now just a minute. That tells you resurrection. That's not rapture.
He doesn't set foot on this earth without the bride.
So what's he telling you? He's telling you what it says in the book of Corinthians. What Brother Brown said in Thessalonians. He comes down, sets himself in the church. It's the same spirit that was in Christ is talking now. And he's going to raise the dead. As Brother Brown has said, the voice has screamed out to Lazarus, come forth. The same voice screamed upon Calvary and woke the sleeping virgins. I mean, the sleeping bride. Old Testament. That same voice brought them out. Right there, you got it. Let's go to John 8 and 56. Now, that's the day of the Lord we're talking about, Brother, since the last day. Last day. Last period of time. 8 and 56.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and saw it. What day was that? Before Sodom and Gomorrah.
Before it was destroyed. He saw that day. Okay. John 12. It's repeating. 47 and 48.
If any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not. For I come not to judge the world, but to save the world. But he's not Savior now.
He's coming in to full judge. At the time that he is prophet, there's still a proclamation. The same Savior proclaiming the day of wrath, the day of the Lord. You've still got time to run.
But pretty soon you won't have time to run. Because when that prophecy is expired, then the voice raises the dead. In the meantime, you've got to shout. See? Okay. 48th verse. He that rejecteth me receiveth not my words, hath one that judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. Now listen, there's double condemnation because he's here repeating himself. Raised up to Israel, raised up to the Gentiles. And says the same thing. He that doesn't hear will be destroyed. Now he tells you in Hebrews the 12th chapter what that's all about.
Verse 25. See, you refuse not him to speak it. It doesn't say did speak the speech now.
For if they escape not and refuse him to spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape when we turn from him. From him that is from heaven. Not speaketh, but is from heaven. Whose voice then shook the earth. But now he promised, saying, Once more I shake not the earth, only but heaven. What's going to do it? The voice.
What starts the resurrection? Voice. Earthquake.
See? Everything then is shaken down. It's over. What happens next? We receive a kingdom. How? Through the God that's a consuming fire. Pillar of fire is here. Brother Brant said, Pillar of fire leads to the millennium. What's standing here to raise it in? The one in the pillar of fire. What one's that? The same one in human flesh. Almighty God in human flesh because God incarnated himself. Made himself a body then went into it. Okay. That's the same as Revelation now. Not the same as but he says but the same thing in Revelation 20, 18, 19 says don't add or take a word. Let's go back to Acts the 7th chapter.
In verse 20.
Alright. In that time Moses was born was exceeding fair and Nourished up in his father's house three months. All right? At that time. Now, what time is that? The word is season. It doesn't say at that time one day. It's a season. That hour. Signifying that things were coming to pass. Now, let's go to 11. Revelation again.
Pardon me, 18th verse. Which I just read. You get the same thing over again. The nations were angry. Thy wrath has come. The time of the dead. The season for it. It's here. It's what John saw.
Looking down there. The whole thing coming not to an impasse, but to a pass. Notice what it says in Revelation 22. And in chapter 10. I mean, verse 10. Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book for the time is at hand. The season.
See? Tells you. The season for what? The season when the countdown comes. It goes from past the millennium to the lake of fire to New Jerusalem. That's what John saw. Now we're in that very hour. People don't understand that. I don't know. I can't figure it. Now you can't stop there. See? Just say, look at that great days coming around. You've got to remember we've already taken up with here. In Luke 17, 28 and 29. It tells you right there that that's based on Genesis 18. The visitation of Elohim to this earth. See? That's Malachi. When the wrath of God falls, when he's here to bring about the day of destruction, he's here to give us eternal life and immortality. Now, that takes us to 2 Thessalonians, the
first chapter. And in verse 7, And here their trouble rests with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels. And in the second chapter, verse 1, Paul says, Now we beseech you, brethren, by the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him. Now that, Brother Brown has said, and that's categorically 1 Thessalonians, the fourth chapter, verse 16, The Lord himself descended him with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trump of God. God descending in the form of the Holy Spirit, which he is, in order to bring about what we're looking at. The Lord descending here. with those seven mighty messengers. That's right. Brother Branham saw it. Bore witness to it. Opened the seals. Brought us into the message. See? Now, if you want to do yourself some reading, which I'm not going to do for you, maybe some other time, I want you to read the breach, page 106, and go to about 108 or 109, somewhere there. You hear what I'm going into. Now, we're
looking then at the day of the Lord, wherein we see judgment. And we see a final measure of grace, which is poured out to get the people ready to put in a rapture, to raise the dead and take us away. And we see with it the combination of destruction. All right. That is then profit, judge and profit, or profit and judge, and mercy and judgment. Now, we've already mentioned this morning and we mentioned in time past, so I can just clear this up in a hurry for you.
Elohim coming down at the time of Sodom where there's a repeat brought mercy and it brought judgment. You cannot bypass it. Malachi, the fourth chapter, which we will look at because that's Brother Brown's great chapter. For behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven. Now it tells you frankly, all the proud, all the wicked are going to be stubble. Now listen, what is stubble? It's the same as chaff. When the wheat is gathered in the garner, the chaff and the stubble is burned. So you know right now that this fire cannot come until the bride is out of the way. Now how then can the Gentiles and the fundamentalists say that Elijah goes to the Jews unless they want everybody to burn?
Now it tells you that he's going to burn. Now remember, that is the book of Matthew. What is that, the third chapter? It has to be the third chapter.
John says, I, in verse 11, I baptize you with water to repentance. But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire, whose fan is in his hand. Now, once the Holy Ghost is done with, watch. Whose fan is in his hand, thoroughly purge his floor, gather the wheat in the garner, and burn up the chapel in the trench of a fire. There it tells you. Harvest is over. The world cannot even burn till the 144 ,000 are in. Now watch, judgment striking the earth. But unto you that fear my name shall the sun arise with immortality, and you will go forth as calves of the stall, and you shall tread down the wicked. How? There'll be ashes under the sole of your feet. The minute we hit the earth, they'll be already turned into ashes, evidently.
Now, behold, I send you Elijah the prophet, and he shall turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Alright? The turning of the hearts delay the curse until it's finalized in this last hour. Alright, now listen.
Abraham said at the hour that Elohim came upon earth here, said, Shall not the judge of all the earth do right?
Now, he was the prophet, he was judge. Now, he was prophet turned judge. Then he went down to Sodom as judge turned king. And destroy. Because a judge does not execute his own degree. It takes the force of the law and the land. And remember Elohim is dunamis. He is power himself. So it is now. So listen. The sixth seal has already broken. It broke in March of 1965. Two years after March of 1963.
Two years later. We've had 18 years since the sixth seal broke. And 20 years since the revelation of the seals. Or we have had Revelation 10 and 1 for 18 solid years, a little bit more. Since 1965, there's been silence. Yeah.
Silence was almost a half an hour, which is roughly 20 years, 10 months, which God does everything at 7 and 3, so 21 years, roughly. Give or take. You don't have to go set 21 exactly. So, we've had 20 years since the seventh seal opened. which was Revelation 10, 1 to 7. 21 years takes us to 1984.
As from 63.
1986. As from 65. Who knows?
It's just later than you think. See, what I'm trying to get you to understand, brother, sister, you're not looking down the corridor of time anymore looking for the day of the Lord. You're in it. You're into it. There's nothing you can do about it because He said He is the Son of Man. That's why He's judged.
Now, we could take Scripture this morning, got a good accordance out of you, because my mind fails me. I can't tell you where everything in the Bible is. But the Word of God specifically states that God executes His own commandments. He is the executor. He stands behind His Word to perform it. Now, there is no way that this world is going to escape judgment. And there is no way the bride is going to be in judgment.
Because God has set the decree and put His seal to it. There will not be one bride. It's going to be destroyed. There'll not be one hair of the head fall. God's going to take care of her. At the same time, let's understand this is in that hour of the day of the husband. The day of the great judge that Brother Branham saw. Through the eyes of the prophet John with the Holy Spirit telling him what it was. Now, we're right here at this end time, brother, sister, and nothing, anybody's going to change it. The decree has been set. When Brother Branham preached that sermon on the rapture, never forget. He said three times, thus it has been spoken, thus it will be done.
So we're at the very end time. You say, well, it could go on a few years. Sure it could. Make no mistake about it. I stand with the prophet on that, why he told it during the seal. Why he said it could be ten years, twenty -five or a hundred, or yet maybe tomorrow morning. Now I figure that couldn't happen tomorrow morning. But one of these mornings, yep, one of these mornings around nine o 'clock, there's a bride going to get out of America.
In the meantime, I'm not worried whether it's nine o 'clock or any other o 'clock. There's just one concern I've got. And that's what Paul said, make your calling and election sure. I don't know any other way I can do it except believe His Word. I don't know any other way I can do it. Because I never asked to get in this world. I don't ask to get taken out of this world, really. I can't take myself in or out. There's no way I can put myself in the plan of God. But if I'm in that plan of God, what befalls me, which is under grace and mercy, that judgment, deceit is still open, which at this hour is actually also a judgment seat. See? Because the judge of all the earth declaring, and the judge of all the earth, through the prophet said, 1965 of March, the earthquake on the west coast opened the sixth seal. Now the sixth seal contains three and a half years of great tribulation.
The saints better be getting out of here pretty soon, Brother Stitcher.
You say, does that mean the fourth seal is completely gone? No. No. See? Some seals overlap.
And the seventh seal is revelatory and that's his coming. Seventh seal, Revelation 10, 1 -7. I don't care what anybody tells you. They're going to quote you and say, well, Brother Brandt said it wasn't open. They misunderstand what he's saying. They're going to tell you this. They're going to tell you that. You go back to what he said. When it came to the definitive, the seventh seal is Revelation 10, 1 -7. And William Brandt stood here when that one came down with those mighty messengers. Bringing judgment. The judge. Tell me what else should he bring?
and avenging for a bride.
Tell me what else should she get but the inheritance with her husband because it's his day that's on the scene. I want to encourage you, brother, sister, don't you ever let yourself slack in this word. Now, don't get ideas in front of them because that's the thing some people do. And they just love to come and help me propagate it. Well, you know, just to stop and say a little bit, maybe I've got an ounce of pride too. Only they may have something in here that's a bit of pride.
I've got my soapbox. You get yours.
You follow what I mean? Oh, yeah. But don't sell anything short. That day is here. And whether you or I or anybody else has a revelation, the prophet has already had one.
And he said, if we're not bright, there's a bright out there somewhere. And by the grace of God, I won't stand in her way. See? Stay with this word right down the line because you haven't got much time left. Look, I know time seems to drag in your hands. Look, come on. I understand that. But it's accelerated. Who would have believed they were past the middle of June, which June is the sixth month of 1983.
Tell me where is it gone? We would have been here in August a year. Tell me where it's gone. Now you look back and maybe there was a bit of a drag.
But I want to tell you what. The closer you get down the road, the faster that time is going.
That's that exponential curve in there.
And it's accelerated. So there it is, brothers and sisters. You're nearer than when you first believed. you're a whole lot closer. And whether anybody wants to believe or not, that one is here. And he proved he was the judge by discerning the thoughts and intents of men's hearts. He proved who he was. Showed it right down the line. Now, if you're hooked up to him this morning, in other words, you've got your union with him through the baptism with the Holy Ghost, which is a faith proposition which you know doesn't come by sensations, it doesn't come by this, come by that. It's absolutely something you keep moving up into all the time because, like a little child born. Now you're born again. You've been moving up, moving up. The church has been moving up. And we're moving right up in this hour when, let's face it, I don't know how it'll break upon us. I don't know. Because look, I'm human like you are. And even the prophet didn't tell us everything because what could he tell us other than just a certain amount because we wouldn't be able to receive it anyway. But how do you begin to explain? And how will it be when that glory begins to break instantaneously of a people getting ready to go away? How will you feel when those dead are no longer, there's nobody else to come in?
Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we know that this is exceptionally true that all things are possible for that which was not possible at that time when you were there in the garden with Adam and Eve and you said, now lest he stretch forth his hand and take of the tree of life and live throughout the ages. You stopped that it wasn't possible, but in this hour the ages have come upon us and it is all over, so therefore even this is now possible. which is the ultimate, that there will be some standing who will not taste death. And we're very grateful for that, Lord, that this is that hour, and we count ourselves of that people. Not that we have anything of ourselves to commend ourselves, but our faith is in thee, and we judge you faithful, Lord, to your word, that you brought the word to us. And now, having brought it in the shout, we believe there is only one place to go, and that is into the voice. And then unto the trumpet. So, Father, we thank you and we just praise you for your consistent goodness. And we believe you'll be goodness this morning, showing us your word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. You may be seated. Now, a few announcements. You can just cut the tape for a second on this. We've got some announcements. We're into the day of the Lord, which is the day of the Master, which is also the husband. And, of course, we know that we're not remiss because the word is translated that in the best translations. And if I can just find it over here, I never can find anything when I want it. I don't say I never can find when I want it, but sometimes I have myself a job. And, yes, it says in the third chapter of Hebrews here, concerning it says, Verse, verse, Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Jesus Christ, who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath built the house hath more honor than the house. And every house is built by some man, but he that built all things is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house as a servant for a testimony of those things which were spoken after, but Christ as a son over his own house. Now, where is house? So, therefore, the one that's at the head is the husband. So, this is the day of the husband, the day of the master, the day of the one that is legally the head. See, remember the scripture says we have one Lord, and that is... the one we're dealing with this morning. So, all right, we go to the book of Revelation again, the first chapter. And in there, the tenth verse, I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day. I became in the Spirit to the Lord's day. And we discussed that. And heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet. And the twelfth verse, I turned to see the voice that spake with me. Conversational voice. And this is kind of surprising to a lot of people because They don't realize what started in the Garden of Eden where God spoke to Adam. Conversationally, he is kept up by means of prophets. I turned to see the voice. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks. In the midst, he saw this one that is described. And we've been talking about him. Now then, you notice that John heard the same voice in verse 10 that he heard in verse 8. Now look at it. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day. I came in the Spirit to the Lord's day. I became and heard a great voice. Now, that's the same voice he heard in verse 8. I'm Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which was, which is to come. Now, we know it is the same voice categorically because the 11th verse says, I am Alpha and Omega. So, the Alpha and the Omega of verse 8. Is the Alpha and Omega the same one in verse 10 that he turned to see in verse 12? So, all right. It's the very same one. Okay. Verses 1 to 3. Now, follow me the best you can. The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass and he sent signified it by his messenger unto his servant John. who bear record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all things that he saw. Okay? Blessed is he that readeth and he that heareth the words of this prophecy. And keep those things which are written therein for the time is at hand. Okay? One to three, that is the prophet. Because it's a prophecy. So we see a prophet, a prophetic ministry right before us. concerning God Himself. In other words, God's His own prophet. There is a prophet involved here and prophecy comes forth. Okay. Verse 8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. Okay. In other words, you see something going on in progress. It takes a prophet to bring it out. So that's prophet. Again. But when you get to verse 10, I heard behind me a voice as of a great trumpet. Now remember, a trumpet announces a person. It declares war. It has to do with announcements. In fact, if you get to the Feast of the Trumpets, you'll find all the things that Brother Branham delineated concerning a trumpet. Okay, now, when he turned, he saw a judge. Okay, prophet, prophet, judge. So, we notice, the voice of the prophet now is the same voice as the voice of the judge. See? Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things that are written therein for the time of his hand. Prophet, prophecy. Over here, judge. See? And when you have a judge, of course, You're dealing basically with word, but in a different position. Okay, the voice of both the prophet and the judge is one. See? The voice of both prophet and judge is one. Now, that's not always the case in the world. That's why you've got so much trouble. If you ever had somebody that could really interpret the law, that is the word, you'd have a real fine nation. Well, what do you got today? You got a Supreme Court that is supremely inadequate.
They don't care two bits what the legislators want. They want to legislate. Thank God there is a judge and a prophet that has one voice. We have a judge and a word that is one, which proves God is the Word. That's why we put such emphasis on both the Logos, which is not printed page, and the printed page, Which deals with Logoth. In other words, describes. And gives us the verbal, mechanical understanding. Okay. Now, Revelation 1, 4 to 7.
John to the seven churches which are in Asa. Grace be unto you and peace for him which was and is and which is to come from the seven spirits which are before his throne. And that goes clean back to Zechariah and so on. And from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness. Now, notice in there. From God.
Seven spirits. Jesus Christ. You've got to keep it all separate. I don't care about how much interplay there is. I don't mean I don't care as though I don't care. I mean, I'm making a statement here that it is not consequential as to any ferment or forerunner or any pickiness in trying to elaborate so that you become... So proficient in understanding this that you, you know, you're tremendous. No. It's that there is a difference. There's the three things set forth here. Grace from him which is and which was, which is to come. And from the seven spirits and from Jesus Christ. Now, we're not going to try to analyze, sympathize. We just know they're there. Just, that's it. Okay. Three things there. Who is Jesus the faithful witness? The first begotten from amongst the dead. the prince of the kings of the earth, unto him that loveth and washeth from our sins in his own blood, and made us kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Behold, he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they that pierce him, and all the kindred shall wear because of him. Now, you notice verse 5, 6, and 7 is about Jesus, the risen Christ. Okay. Now, what I want you to notice here is that Revelation 1, 4, to seven must give way to John 5 and 27.
Let's go back and look at John 5, 27. We already know what it is because we've looked at this before. Okay. And unto him and hath given unto him authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of Man. Now notice, it's not only to execute in the sense of pronounce, but to carry out.
See? So, 4 to 7 gives way to John 5, 27, which, of course, is Revelation 1, 12 to 18. The judge. See? And it gives way to Revelation 19 and
11. I saw heaven open, a white horse, him that sat and called favor and truth, righteousness, he does judge. And make war. And execute his judgment.
Because there's a war. Why? A trumpet is sounded. Why? A message has gone forth. They turned it down. So now comes the fight. And I'm going to tell you, God's going to win this one. Single -handed.
See, there's a battle coming up. And don't anybody kid you. And who was it? He was the one whose vesture was dipped in blood. who is called the Word of God. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Here we see the super -manifestation of God in all ages, crowned King of kings and Lord of lords, coming with His bride. War. Trumpet. See? Now remember, it's at the last trumpet. The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised. The sounding of the gospel trumpet of Revelation 10 and 7. which can only come to Revelation 10 and 1. Because Revelation 10 and 1 is the mighty one we're talking about descended on earth in the form of the Holy Spirit at the time when the mighty messenger, the seventh church messenger is here. And remember, that's the time of Malachi 4. So, you can see how Revelation 1, 4 to 7 gives way to Revelation 1, 12 to 18. which is explicitly sent forth in John 5 and 27. Prophet is the son of man.
So, there comes a time when the days of prophecy will begin to run out, wind right down. And the day of the Lord begins to speed up. Now, Brother Branham called that a juncture, or someone turning a corner. And it takes a prophet to do it. Okay, you understand we're talking then? How the prophet gives way to the judge. Now, there can never be any decision or verdict unless there is a word to go by. No way. You understand that? Then what church has a right to say anything?
I want to know. See, I'm kidding where Brother Branham is.
What church will he judge by?
There can be no judgment. And there can be no judge unless it is one with the word. Show me the church.
Why is he going to judge the whore and all the daughters? It's by one man, Christ Jesus, prophet who is the word.
For all judgment is committed unto him.
That's why he had to be prophet.
That's why he's called that prophet.
See? Now, he's a lot of other things.
Because what he is, everything's in him. But now, as the great prophet, there is no course or plan of action that is right or wrong. Unless a previous word has
been enunciated and revealed by scriptural continuity.
Vindicated to be so. In other words, if you are going to have a judge, there has got to have been something through the ages that God has held inviolate and brought to the people so that there is something to judge by.
Now that's thrown corn. See? And it's got to have a scriptural continuity.
That's why I said here, reading my notes carefully, there is no course or plan of action is right or wrong unless a previous word that's been established, a plan of something, a purpose, already has been enunciated and revealed by scriptural continuity vindication. Now, let's understand this. You know, God... He defers judgment until there's nothing left to judge. He said concerning the exodus of Moses, bringing them out of Egypt, he said the cup of the Amorites is not over. Now, remember what he said to the Pharisees. Let's get that in Matthew 23. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers, you serpents, you generation of vipers. How can you escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send up unto you prophets and wise men and scribes, some you'll kill and crucify, they've already done it, and scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, and they're going to do more of it, that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel, the brother of Zechariah, son of Barakai, whom you swore between the temple and the altar. Verily I say, all these things will come upon this generation, O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you would not allow yourself to be gathered by the prophets, so therefore judgment is going to hit you. What judgment? There's only one judgment. That's word.
See? He said, the word that I give you, you're going to be judged by. Shawnee. Nothing it is. All right, now. Israel, Jerusalem, absolutely paid the price.
Now, you've got the same thing at the end time here. See? In other words, scriptural continuity. There comes a time when the word runs out.
Now. Let's face it. Every time a word has run out, God has stood there with another word when it comes to redemption.
But there's going to come a time when redemption runs out, and that's now. In the first church age, a bugle was sounded, a trumpet was sounded. A message went forth, a war was declared. The gospel went forth, riding in power as a lion under that first seal. And in the first age or so. Okay. Now then, what happened? God took his messenger off the scene. Paul died. John died. Polycarp comes on the scene. Perennius on the scene. They don't have what those men had, but they have enough. And so another gospel of trumpet is sounded. Another war is declared. The gospel goes forth, bringing in the people. They lay that messenger away. Another trumpet sounds. Another war is declared. Sword is going forth to slay the enemy. See? To draw blood. To bring in the righteous. Then that one's laid away. But there comes a time when the seventh church's message blows on his trumpet and a war is declared against denominations. It's all going to tumble down. And redemption runs out.
Now, there's no more word left for redemption. No sirree. No sirree. It's gone. He's not starting anything where man's got to have a redemption. He's starting with the redeemed. See? And they're going where the prophecies, which are big but beautiful, are fulfilled in an immortal people. Now remember, God always had a plan for that. That's why He said in the Garden of Eden, He said, now that this man knows good from evil, good and evil, He said he's like me, he's like God. So therefore, he's in a position now. to stretch forth his hand and take of immortality and live forever which is 6 ,000 years because immortality is not eternality. Ages to the ages is 6 ,000 years of human living. So he stopped it. But at the end of 6 ,000 years there has to be a change. And we're there right now. See? And the last trumpet is the hour that man can approach to that tree. So, all right. The next thing then is judgment falling in line. Okay. Now, there is no decision or declaration or allotment or meeting out, M -E -T -I -N -G, meeting out of merit or disfavor, reward or punishment that can be proffered without a former word as basis and that basis a truly revealed word.
That's exactly right. And then let's go a little further. The one that's doing it had better be able to read the hearts of men to get the right guy.
Well, I got a question for you. Was that done in this hour, wasn't it? And who sat there doing it? What is a discerner? A judge.
Who was it allowed to manifest it? A prophet. What was here? The prophet was here. And I speak of God being his own prophet. See? Okay. Now, a standard, a plumb line, a guide, a rule, even unto... principles, and method, or precept and example.
Now, the Old Testament is plumped full of precept and example. These things written for our admonition has examples unto us. Our own prophet William Branham came and showed by precept and example. There's two ways of teaching, example and precept, and you better not separate the one from the other.
So you've got to go together. All right. Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little.
See? And vindicated so that men fell backward. In other words, it was a complete revelation by the Holy Spirit and vindicated to be so that boggled men's minds and threw them back. Now, listen, don't think, oh, come on, brother, sister, let's get this nail down pat. I may not get out. I feel pretty good sitting down here. Just pray I don't stand up. It's going to take off. Listen. Here's what Paul said. I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with actually a speech and a wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. I determined not to do anything among you save the very lowest, Christ crucified, which you hate. And I was rich in weakness and fear and trembling, my speech and preaching not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of spirit and power, precept and example, that your faith should not stand the wisdom in. Howbeit, we speak wisdom amongst them that are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world. nor the prince's world that comes to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. Even the hidden wisdom is God ordained the world to our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
See? Stood right there vindicated and crucified. And you've got the same thing right now. See? It always runs in Scripture continuity. We've always had precept and example. Jesus gave the precept. He said, I am. If you don't believe I am, you'll die in your sins. And then he said, now hold it. You don't believe that, but you watch the works. Then you go out and do the same works or find somebody that can do them, then go to him. And they wouldn't do it, so they went to hell.
And one day Simon the Sorcerer tried the same thing. And he said, I said, I'll give you money. He said that I may have a gift to God. And you know what Peter said? He said, to hell with your money. That's exactly what Peter said. May shock you, but you better know it.
People are just too nice.
I got that. Yeah, I got that. That's exactly the finest Greek translator in the world. Phillips. Dr. Phillips. That's exactly what Peter said. You say, well, that word's perdition. The word's hell.
And I don't mean to hell with your money like you say to hell with you because I don't like you. I'm putting it exactly where it is.
All right, then what's the legalist trying to do? Trying to buy immortality. Now, where are you going to end up?
I'll tell you where your doctrines are going to burn. It's going to burn in hell because that's where they're going.
Oh, this tape ever gets out, I'll really be blackballed now. Sure, because he ain't got the guts to say it. They'll tell all kinds of lies and everything else under a filter. They won't stand up with God. What about a God that cast men into hell?
What about it? I'm not going to do it. God's going to do it. And he's already said it right here. Peter saw it coming down the road.
Perish, absolutely. Where is it going to perish? In the lake of fire.
It would be all right if some people could just get down to Hades and sit there, but there's a lake of fire coming on top of Hades. Remember, you don't ever sell God short for one minute because you can't do it. All right. Alpha is always the prophet. It's got to start with the Word, for Word alone explains man's conditions.
Word doesn't only explain man's conditions. The Word explains man.
You've got all these phony psychiatrists out there. Why? Because the preachers failed their job.
It took men like Dr. Menninger to come down and say as long as sin plays along the nerve lines of any human being, he said they're in trouble.
Absolutely. They got psychological problems. He said we need preachers to pronounce men as sinners and go to God and get help. And Menninger's one of the greatest psychiatrists that ever lived. I think he might be still living. I might be dead by now.
But I'll tell you, it's just too bad a bunch of those other fellas are living. And now the church has got to have psychiatrists and business agents. Fat. I can tell you one thing. If we can't take somebody that's just almost halfway there and do any job the church requires and leave the rest to the Holy Ghost, we might as well close the doors.
Just forget it. Alpha's always the prophet. It's got to start with the prophet before it turns judge. It's got to start with the Word. For it's the Word alone that explains man. That sets forth God. God dealing with man. It's got to take a word which is a revelation. Okay. Let's go back to Genesis 2.
Okay. 16 and 17. And the Lord God commanded the man. This is a precept. The commandment God gave him. Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of the evil you shall not eat of it. For in the day of eating thereof dying thou dost surely die. Okay. Let's go to Genesis 3 .17. And unto Adam he said because you hearken to the voice of your wife. A to the tree which I command thee, saying, You'll not eat of it. Curse the ground for your sake. And so you'll eat of it all the days of your life. Thorns and thistles it'll bring forth to you. And thou shalt... You see, it won't bring it forth to God. It'll bring it forth to him. And thou shalt eat the herb of the field. And the sweat of your face you'll eat bread. Till you return to the ground out of it you were taken. For dust you are, to dust you return. Now you notice, one place is the prophet, the next place is the judge.
You can't have a judge without a prophet.
You can't have a decree. Without a word. There is no way. No way whatsoever. Okay. Then on to verse 22 of the same chapter. And God said, Behold, the man has become a one of us to no good and evil. Now lest he put forth his hand and take of the tree of life and live and eat forever, therefore God put him out of the garden and stopped him from getting near to the tree of life. All right. Omega is always the prophet turned judge. Now I don't mean omega in a final sense of the word. See? But I mean that word has got to come someplace at some time where it becomes definitive to the point of a decree. See? That's omega I'm talking about. I'm not talking about the omega of the great creator who becomes now the great destroyer or reconciler, whatever else. I'm talking now in terms of a word. See? Not executor. I'm talking in terms of word and judge. And that's exactly as far as the word goes. You follow what I'm trying to say? It might be a little difficult if you understand this. Look, please don't find it difficult. As simple as ABC. If the law, if the judge is a real judge, then he knows the word about the case.
Now that's as far as he goes. to tell you what the Word says, if there's an alternative, what the Word has decreed, what must follow, what must happen. But he doesn't make it happen. He sets in machinery that which causes it to happen. So, all right, we're looking in terms of this Word, the precept. Omega is always the prophet turned judge. The executor or performer is not the supreme. But the judge, now that went over your head, but listen carefully to what I just said. The executor or the performer is not the supreme, but the judge is supreme.
Because he starts or stops the authoritative power.
The judge says, execute, don't execute.
Now you say, well, all right. The governor is the one that goes. and he seems to have more power than the judge. That's only the case of a fact of what we're looking at. It seems, but it's not so.
You say a governor can give clemency. Well, what do you think God did when he was outraged?
See? But with God, clemency has already been granted through Jesus Christ. See?
Now remember, a governor can be pretty rotten and stinky. What's this one I hear about you? I don't know. I didn't even hear about it. But the old ones came down and told us how this governor in Tennessee was picked up and a bunch of judges and things with him because they were paroling prisoners and giving pardons for money.
Now, why do you think Mr. Ford pardoned Mr. Nixon? I don't know. I'm not in Mr. Ford's boots. I'm going to tell you something. That's not a true example of what we're going into. That's man messing around. That's the church messing around. I'm talking about God. And God has to abide by His Word. So, therefore, the Word is superior to the power.
Huh? Yes, you bet it is. Come on. See, you're going to sit here to do this bunch of legalists and you're going to see some things.
God can't have the power of His Word.
I don't care how big God is. And God doesn't care how big He is. He stands behind His Word to perform it.
See? So when you get a prophet in the land, you better be understanding that that prophet will one day turn judge. He said the word Jesus said judges you. How do we get that? Well, then got John 8. I don't know. I'm not smart like these preachers that know the Bible. I wish I was, but I'm sorry. Maybe it's not John 8. It might be even John 6. I don't know where it is.
Could be even in Matthew, for all I know. I'll find it someday. I'll make a note of it. Won't matter anyway. It's the truth. I gave you the truth. I didn't paraphrase. It's still the truth. Okay. Now then. God always is his own prophet. God is always his own judge.
Therefore, because he is who he is, he is also his own executor, because God executes judgment. Bible says so. Thus he has said, and shall he not bring it to pass? Now, we've been hitting, which we must hit, which is the negative aspect, because the negative is in a preeminence over the positive by virtue of size.
In other words, four billion people on earth, not one billion are supposed to be Christians. Maybe not one of a million. Out of the billion is born again.
So, by virtue of the negative, many more are the children of the desolate than she that hath a husband. The preponderance of tares over wheat and chaff and stock over wheat is overwhelming. Now, you know, I'm sure every had the privilege I had, if you call it a privilege, of being a kid. you know, 60 years ago, which if you're privileged, you're privileged. And for some years, we never had combines. We had trashing rigs. And I remember as a kid, we had a little puny granary, maybe 10 feet by, 8 feet by, about 12 or 13 feet and 6 feet high and a roof on it. And you decide it was a straw stack that you're going to hit 50 grain bins in.
In other words, the size of the harvest to destruction.
Periods times greater than the size of the harvest unto eternal life. Whose fan is in his hand, thoroughly purged his floor, gathers wheat in the garner, but burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. That's judge turned executor. Based upon a word. Say, okay. Now, I said the preponderance in this hour sorrowfully. has been negative.
Okay, let's turn positive. Let's go to Genesis 1 and 26.
And God said, Let us make man their image, after our likeness. Let them have to be nor the fish of the sea, or the fowl of the air, or the cattle, over all the earth, and every creeping thing that creeps upon earth. So God created man in his own image. The image of God created him, blessed him, and male and female created them. And God blessed and said, Be fruitful and multiply. Be plentiful to do it. Have me nor fish of the sea. the fowl of the air, or of everything that moves upon the earth. God said, Behold, I have given you the herb that bears seed, which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree which is in the seed is the fruit of the tree -yielding seed, for it shall be meat. Now, I want you to note it here that this word is in no way inferior to and will in no wise fall less or not be fulfilled than this word over here, In the day of the eating of dying thou shalt surely die.
It's the same God with the same mouth. Yeah. That gives one word.
Irreplicable. So, there is an irreplicable word for a people to replenish the earth, to subdue it, to preside over it, and to eat of the fruit of the land. Okay.
Let's go now to Genesis. I'm sorry. 1 Corinthians 15. And he says, beginning at verse 49, Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. As we are born in the image of the earth, we are born in the image of the heaven. Now, does it say, brethren, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God? Neither corruption and incorruption. It won't inherit it. It won't possess it. Now, he said, possess the earth.
Now, remember, Abraham, in that day, he could lift up his hand toward the Most High God. Possessor of heaven and earth.
Now God can do what he wants to do with his own. He's told us. He said, can I not do with my own what I want to do? Now God wants to do this. And he is determined to do it. So therefore the word in the prophet, which is the positive, must one time come before the judge.
Because somebody's got to line to it.
And judging, my brother, sister, is not only... concerning disfavor and punishment, but it is merit and reward.
And God said, I am your exceeding great reward, Abraham. I am your shield. I'm going to see that you get it. Now, you'll notice in here, we're promised immortality. Because this cruple puts on incorruptibility. This mortal immortality. And death and the grave were passed over. And when death and grave were passed over, you go to Revelation. Chapter 19. In verse 11, you see the mighty one coming back. And then in verse 14, with him, the armies in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And that's the righteousness of the saints. So you see him coming back with the bride. And they're going to take over the earth and they're going to run it. You say, how do you know? Because it says here in chapter 20 of Revelation, verse 4, I saw thrones and they sat upon them, judgment given to them. And the soul of them be head of witness of Jesus. For the word of God. Which did not worship the beast. Neither his enemies nor received his mark. That's all through the seven church ages. In their hand. Delivered and remained of Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead live not again. Till the thousand years are finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. On such the second death has no power. They're going to be priests of God and of Christ. And they shall reign where? On earth for one thousand years. All right. Now. What is the judgment concerning that? The judgment is who are going to be priests and who are going to be kings.
That's all. They're going to be priests.
That tells you. Now, how did that take place? God chose a tribal Levite.
Now, he chose singles amongst the Gentiles, so he becomes a priesthood unto Almighty God. All right? Let's go to Revelation 22 and verses 1 to 3. He showed me a pure river, the water of life. Clear as crystal proceeding out of the throne of God in the land. The midst of the street of it and either side of the river was the tree of life which bared twelve manner of fruits. Now what are you going to do with the twelve manner of fruits? You're going to eat them. So what's man going to do? He's going to come back to eating. He's going to control everything that's upon earth and he's going to be evidently a vegetarian although if he wants to eat fish I guess he couldn't because Jesus rose from the dead and he ate a fish.
I don't look for any fish eaters or anything but it could be. Don't ask me what's going to happen. I'm just going to wait and find out.
And if we're supposed to eat fish we'll eat fish. But at that time he did say they would eat off the land. And here you can see even in New Jerusalem, eat off the land. Now the body will absorb it, no doubt.
You won't have to worry about sanitary conditions because everything is sanitary. We won't be eating like a bunch of hogs.
How could any man, how could anybody eat man even stink? His feet didn't stink. He didn't sweat and smell sweaty and stinky. His clothes didn't wear out. If a shot of manna could do that, what about a shot of immortality?
Listen, if a bread that came down from heaven, little pebbles could do it. What about the bread that came down from heaven? If a man eat, he shall never die. That couldn't happen till this hour. You couldn't eat the word till this hour that will keep guests from your door. Oh, mercy for God. Then people don't even know the first thing about the presence. I'm going to tell you people something. You're in for a surprise one of these days because I'm going to have a church service here. And you'll be sitting here and you better be ready to discuss and know what the presence is all about.
I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just telling you. Because I'm not fooling. To me, there's a reality, brother, sister, and I'm not above you and I'm not above anybody and I'm not unique from anybody. But I tell you, by the grace of God committed to me, there is a presence that we're dealing with. A reality. That a lot of people don't have a clue from the telephone calls and what I get. And the letters and everything else, they don't have a clue to what I'm saying. I'm not saying I can force it down your neck and go get dumped for one minute. But I just wonder. And I'm not wondering at you. I'm just wondering. I don't want anybody here. How do I know what's in your head or in your heart? You know what's in my head and heart. Oh, you got a better chance of knowing about me than I got knowing about you. I'm not just transparent. I'm stupid. Okay, let's go to 2 Timothy.
I tipped my hand. There's no hand left to tip.
2 Timothy 4, chapter verse 8. Henceforth there's laid up me a crown of righteousness. Now listen. There is laid up a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. And not to me only, but all them that love his epiphany. The
glory of his presence coming into the church until it's here.
It started that way. It was so tremendous it struck Paul blind. See? Why? Because he was full of the Holy Ghost now.
And the blinding light that he'll appear in the sky as a flash. And they'll hide and they'll cower and they'll curse.
Sure. Starts right here in the light. And all those that love the light, come to the light. I said the other day, so many people are scared. Look, I get scared. I should get scared about this message. I still look at things and I'm almost quiver. I get scared. I'm not scared like I was. I come right to the word and say, the prophet said it. Hallelujah. It's not going to scare me. I'm going to come right to it. That's when the blood goes into action.
Oh, come on, Brother Citra. You ain't going to get no preaching out of me. Let's see if I can find this. Man, I just get so happy with the things of the Lord here. Now, okay.
If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses from all sin. Now, people got this all turned around. They think you're so full of love and so this and that. You don't do things that are bad and not so nice. Brother Branham categorically said we've got brotherly kindness which is sticky. Now, it says here, if you walk into that light,
You've come to the light. See? Notice. The blood cleanses.
People are scared to come to the light.
They don't even know, for instance, what I believe.
So they smart off and call it a puke doctrine. I don't call theirs a puke doctrine.
No. These men that believe certain things that I never could agree, I listened to their tapes. I was honorable before them. I took their references. When I couldn't see it, I went straight to God. And I am in the light. Because I'm not afraid to conquer the light. Then the blood cleanses.
See? That's where you get your victory. The things of Almighty God. Sure. Now, okay. The righteous judge is going to give us. Therefore, we then must be word believers. Because as the light comes in, we're closer and closer to the glory which shall be revealed. And Brother Bass, oh, what a glory that will be. And he said, now we behold him. Now we're behind the veil. Now we're taking up the bread, the short bread that lies in the Shekinah glory that cannot be worm -eaten.
That's the glory you're looking at. Oh, people say I don't believe it. Fine, don't believe it.
You say, Brother Bailey, you should be sympathetic. What are you talking about? You want me to go down to Egypt like Moses went down and he said, well, folk, he said, bless God, I finally got it all worked out. He said, I got it all worked out. What do you mean? Well, he said, we're just going to convert old Pharaoh. He said, bless God, convert old Pharaoh to Abraham and he'll let us all go. Fat. He came down there 80 years of age, stood there strong, and he said, I won't let you go, he said, but we'll make him let you go in the name of our God, and he'll die doing it.
Why do you get him converted?
What do you want me to do? Convert somebody God doesn't convert?
You can convert, but you can't convert.
Yeah. So
much for that.
Let's face it. We're not babies anymore. We're not tiny little infants anymore. Brother Brown said in 1956 he quit praying for America. Oh, Brother Brown, don't quit praying. He said, yes, I said, she's gone. She had her chance in 56 and she bled. 27 years ago.
What am I supposed to do?
You know, people want him to come down and get crucified over again.
You know, people want to think that God is like the guy that he cut his thumb off in the buzzsaw. And the fellow said, how in the world did you do it? He said, like this. And his other thumb went off.
Oh, come
on. Reduce it to raw sarcasm on purpose. What are people thinking of? Once for all he died unto sin. And once for all we are born again to live forever. And every servant God chastises and trains up as a child should be trained up. That's right. Okay. Let's keep moving. Let us never fool ourselves into the false hope that God will ever satisfy anything or anybody but his own word. God cannot be satisfied outside the satisfaction of his own word, which God Almighty satisfied himself when he became his own sacrifice. I'll explain this sometime. Let's go back to Isaiah 53. All right. Got to find the right verse. Okay. We'll get it here. In verse 10. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him. He hath put him to grief. When thou shalt make a soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed. He shall prolong his days. And the pleasure of the Lord shall... prosper in his hand. He shall see the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied.
God satisfies himself in the performance of his word. God
is satisfied through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. So you and I don't pay a price.
Now, I know I should be all sweet and honey and say so nice to melt everybody's heart. But look, I'm not dealing with a bunch of sinners here. I'm dealing with a bunch of hard -headed Christians. He's as hard -headed as I am. And we're going to pound some grace and glory in this morning. With the old sledgehammer words. And the cutting sword. Because I need this the same as you do. See, we're prone to overbalance. You get a balance wheel off in your car and the thing will fly to pieces. You get your tires out of balance. You'll be full of holes in no time. Rip the rubber off and you're finished.
That's why you've got to come to temperance.
See, that's why on the fruit of the Spirit is also meekness. Patience is coming in there. Because you're beginning to see both sides of the coin. You understand how God does things. We cannot fool ourselves. God will never satisfy even himself outside of his own word. See? Now, the word of God, or thus saith the Lord, cannot pass away. Cannot be put on a shelf in any way. Or in any way disregarded. Or reversed. or even delayed or accelerated. It takes God Himself to do it exactly how He wants it done. He said, I hasten my word to perform it. He said, stand over and do it. He said, I'll not delay in my promises.
In other words, there is nothing that God Himself ever does apart from His word. How can He?
How can He when He is the word? See? Now, there is not one jot or one tittle. All will be accounted for. And all will be fulfilled in a season. That goes for both sides of the word. It's fulfillment in the negative and in the positive. God cannot have a negative without a positive. Because he could not have a positive.
He couldn't have a positive without a negative. Sure. And he couldn't have a negative without a positive. And the positive always came first. Alright. Man does not want to believe that. Man has never wanted to believe that. Always and has been old. God really doesn't mean it. I can persuade him different. I can get out of it. I can pray.
People say, well, maybe it's all right. I can just go to the blood. I'm going to tell you something about the blood. That blood will justify you. Absolutely wash away your sin. But it won't eradicate the fact that you did it. And you may have to pay for it right here. And you will.
Yep. It started back there in Genesis. In 2, 16 and 17, which I read you. He said, don't eat it, but that's the day you die. It was denied in Genesis 3, 1 to 7, when the serpent came to Eve and said to Eve, now, he said, look, honey, let's face it, God really didn't mean that. And she said, he didn't? Well, he said, no.
Now, the prophet said, there's one God. And a prophet cannot speak of his own mind. Oh, God, I wish I was in that shape, but I'm going to get there. Because the more I get to this word, the more I cannot speak my mind. It's got to be his mind. We're in the mind age. The greatest battle right now is bringing that mind under the mind of the prophet, which is the mind of God. The prophet and God have one mind. They have one word. They have one tongue. They have one voice. Now, so she said, well, what do you mean? Well, he said, I'm certain to God you asked the question.
Because I'll tell you how to fulfill the word. Now, wouldn't work. He got them all messed up. Because listen, there is always two ways to do anything. And I don't care what it is. A right way and a wrong way. And a whole lot in between.
And you know what's in between? The wrong way.
Now Adam and Eve got doing it the wrong way. Because they were not to supply the bodies. God was to bring the body out of the dust.
God was to do it. He said, let the earth bring forth the beast. The beast was already there. Just get clothed. Man was there, so he clothed him in dust. And God was going to bring forth the bodies. So they stopped him doing it. Now he's going to bring forth the bodies anyway.
Not by sex, but by a miracle. Creating again, as Brother Branham said. Okay. It was denied in Genesis 3, 1 to 7. What happened? You find it in Genesis 5 and 5. Adam died.
Sure. He didn't live a thousand years. He died. Now, look at our time. Look at the church ages. Where it started and where it's going.
Okay? Let's go to Revelation 2, 4 to 5.
Now watch. I know your work, your labor, your patience. You can't bear them that are evil. You tried them to say they're apostles and are not and found them liars and has borne his patience for my name's sake and has labored and has not fainted. Nevertheless, I've got something against you. You left your first love.
The church had started her way down. She became dilatory, as Brother Branham said. Now, she disbelieved this prophetic utterance which John gives, which is the utterance of Jesus the Christ in the mouth of John. And it's the same thing that Paul said in Acts the 20th chapter. So let's take a look at it. Now, verse 28, 7. I've not, no. Verse 26. Wherefore I take you to record this day, I am pure from the blood of all. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. They had every single thing they needed at that hour. Had it been the hour of the rapture.
Yes, sirree. No church age has ever failed. But it wasn't that hour. Why? Because the word wasn't ready to be fulfilled. He that liveth and believeth in me shall never perish. Do you believe this? I bet your life I do. You bet I believe it. Like old Sarah. Oh, listen. I love the Bible because I get a lot of comfort in old gals like Sarah. Stood right there and laughed in God's face. Then called him a liar. The Bible turns around and said, And Sarah received strength to conceive because she counted him faithful. Hallelujah! Oh, I'm glad I got a God like that. That's why my wife is just as bad. I never could figure out how she... She doesn't lie for me, but she almost lies for me. Well, she does lie for me in this respect. She says I'm a nice guy. She's crazy. Nice guys never win. I'm dizzy this week from too many good turns.
That's the word that God distinctly says. That she conceived strength to conceive because she judged him faithfully. He had to rebuke her to do it. Oh, you little faith! You got it made. Daddy Balsworth said, he said, never doubt your faith. If you must doubt, doubt your doubts. They're unreliable.
All right, listen. He says here, take heed to yourselves. To all the flock of riches of the Holy Ghost made you overseers to feed the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood. For this I know, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the Sabbath after. Now, this is our case in this hour, too. Men are coming to this message in order to make something out of it. For themselves are following a church, a name, and God knows what. And men amongst us have risen up to take authority. Nicolaitanism. You see why I won't go anywhere and just stay home? I've got enough trouble staying here with you people. And you don't cause me any trouble. The guy's on the outside.
Who knows when he'll come here? I don't know. Up to this point, we're doing good. Deacons, keep a door there. Keep a lock on the door. The password is... Proves you.
Not exactly. Now he said, I know. Grievous wolves will come in. Of your own selves. Now he said, remember for three years I ceased not to warn everyone. Brother Branham didn't have that kind of time. It wore out. Okay. It went to 2 Corinthians 11 where she was no longer a virgin bride. It became a rank harlot. that God said He would judge and destroy in Revelation 17, 1 and 5, 6, and Revelation 18, 5 and 8. Make no mistake about it. Revelation 2, 4 to 5. The weakness. That little strain, church, ends up as Revelation 3, where it says, unto the message of the church, and they ought to see it. Because you're lukewarm and say, I'm rich in Christian goods, and of need of nothing, and don't know that you're wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, and you need raiment that you may be clothed, so the shame of your nakedness do not appear, become absolutely manifested. In other words, she's caught in her sexual intercourses, which is idolatry.
There is a pornography in the world church system. They have exposed themselves to everything.
until anybody knows who knows the Roman Catholic Church and even the Protestants, because they've got nothing to talk about, have become completely inundated with spiritism and idolatry.
And the Protestants and Catholics think nothing of practicing spiritism and call it God. Even a fellow down there in South Carolina that used to believe in Brother Branham, he went into spiritism of the lowest degree I have ever seen in my life. Now, How are you going to get right out of this mess? There is no way but judgment. Right. No way. And that's negative and positive. Because God's going to bring a bride out of here. Now, I'm sure you noticed, and because we read it many times in 2 Corinthians 11, 2 -4, Paul is speaking about the marriage of Christ to a virgin. When Paul said, I have espoused you to Christ, he was actually saying, I stood there between the two of you. And I was the ministry, minister, that brought the vows and heard the vows from both sides while you pledged yourselves out. But he said he remained faithful and you didn't. But he's got a bride that he's going to purify by the washing of water in this end time. He's got a bride he's going to bring back to earth with him. Clothed in his own virtuous holiness, his righteousness. In Revelation 19, 7 to 9. Let's take a look at it. 1979. This is not where he's coming back in the white horse. This is the word. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him for the marriage of the bride has come. His wife has made herself ready. How ready was she back there in the first stage? She wasn't. She'd lost out. Her virginity was gone. Her virginity is now restored. And to her was granted that she be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. For the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. Then she comes back with him to reign on earth and take over and eat the fruit of the land. There you are. That bride is spoken of in Ephesians 1. As according as he hath chosen us and him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy without blame before him in love having predestinated us. The church originally was a virgin bride. Make no mistake about it. You can find that in Acts 2, 1 to 4. Acts 2, 37, 41. 42, 47. Acts 13, 48. 1 Corinthians 12, 12 -14, Ephesians 4, 4 -6. You can find it all in there. Talks about that beautiful church. But Satan got to that virgin bride just as he got to Eve. He worked through her mind and changed the word of God to her.
And with false precepts to follow, she became false and delinquent to God. Now listen carefully. The church's husband is Christ who is the word. We can prove this. For Isaiah 54 and 5 says, thy creator, thy maker is thy husband. And in John 1, 1 to 3, it says all things were made by him. There's nothing made. There wasn't made by him. That's the word. So therefore, the word, the husband and
the bride get back together again. They get back together again in Hebrews, the fourth chapter.
And in verse 12. For the word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two -edged sword, piercing even and dividing asunder a soul and spirit. The joint and marrow, discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. Now notice, the judge who sits there, see, interpreting the word, revealing it, that has already been given, see, you notice that he himself is not doing it per se, but the word is doing it. So therefore the judge... would have to be a prophet. And the prophet would have to turn judge. The discerning is going on. There is no creature that does not manifest in his sight, not it, but his sight. But all things are naked and open under the eyes of him with whom he hath to do. And that was proven, therefore, that the word in our midst is the judging word.
The prophet doesn't judge. It's the word that judges.
Then the judge who sits there, per se, It's not the judge. It's the word that is already judged.
That's why he said you're already judged.
Look, the white throne judgment that lets some people come in, brother, sister, doesn't let them come in as though it grants them a special grace. The word has already set it in order. And it is merely opening a door. That's all. All right, now, John saw the judge in the day of the Lord. And judge and Lord mean the same thing. So let's go to 1 Peter 3, 5 to 6. And we'll get you out of here now. Sorry I'm this late. But I told you, sitting down is just a good thing I didn't stand up. All right. 1 Peter 3, 5 and 6. For after this man of the old time, holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands. Even as Sarah obeyed Adam, calling him Lord. Husband is Lord.
Why? Because he's the master of the house. He's the builder of it. He's the provider of it. He's the life of it. As the woman supplies a certain amount, which, of course, is pulped in a certain way, so it is the man God provides for us as the Master, as the Lord. Now, notice, we go to Genesis 18 and 12.
Now, she called Abraham Lord. And, of course, 18 and 12 is on. It says here, Sarah laughed within herself. Saying, after I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my Lord also being old. There it is. Absolutely we understand. Thus John saw the day of the Lord, which is the day of the husband. And that's good. Why? Because the husband has come to get a bride. To divorce the false wife. And to destroy the false wife. And to exalt the true wife. And I'm going to tell you, if that one that's here is our husband, the day of the Lord, that's here. See, the day of the Lord cometh with wrath. But remember also, unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with immortality.
The wings, the beating wings of God, like a fan, fanning out. Fan away the check. And let me tell you, they scatter. When it comes to this true word. I saw it way back in Pentecost. When I was a sort of a oneness Trinitarian caught between them. I knew that both of them had some truth. But God knew what it was. I didn't. They don't know either. I was caught between them. But I knew a little bit about oneness. There had to be one God. I knew water baptism wasn't to be fooled with. So I baptized correctly. But my theology wasn't where it is today. And I remember Brother Branham came on the scene. And you talk about a demonstration of healing in the wings of God. which was this great revival, which was to forerun the literal coming of our Lord and God in a physical form, after we walk there and we come back, which was at the same time proof that he was here, as soon as everybody heard that William Branham believed in baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and one God, they said, Jesus only, and sneered and walked off. The word of God in him who is the word. Hear now. That became the wings that fanned. And I'm going to tell you, fanned the chaff come out of existence. Now, people can do what they want about it. You say, but Brother Vail, I do believe they're going to be all right. Well, you tell God about it. I don't have any permission to say that.
I'm sorry, I don't have any permission. The only permission I got is this. They turned down a word -vindicated prophet, and many made him the devil, which is blasphemy. Now, you do what you want with that. You say, what about the rest? I'll tell you about the rest. The foundation of God stand assured, having to see the Lord knoweth him which are his. And we had better know too.
Yeah. We had better know too. Because we better know who our master is. And that master is the husband.
Now, let that master come home. Let a man come home to his wife. Does he have any standards outside of his own word? Well, said little sister Maude to her husband Jerome. Now, Jerome, dear. Zachariah next door, he lets his wife go to bridge parties with slacks. Well, he said, I'm not Zachariah, dear. I'm Jerome, dear. And I am your lord and master in this home here. You will not go to bridge parties and wear those slacks. And she said, well, then I'll have my own party. He said, you go ahead. The divorce is on.
Now, that's pretty trite, but that's pretty true.
Now, the prophet came on the scene.
And ever since then, women have been busting wide open. And I was the guy that laughed at the prophet talking about the poor man whose wife was running around with other men and leaving him with the kids. Let me tell you, that has happened where more women are leaving than the men.
So let the women begin to examine themselves a little more closely to see if they're in any kind of faith at all.
Women who kick up their heels and decide they know more than their husbands. Women who decide their words a little better because they've been to some preacher or some priest. I would advise those women, and I'd advise every woman to listen carefully what the prophet said about everything the prophet said. Because a woman types the church. And I would advise every man to listen carefully what Brother Branagh said absolutely about the headship of Almighty God so a man might try to fit in that mold.
My advice would be, and
I'll tell you very frankly, and that is, my own pronouncement on the subject of this hour is, the prophet has done, come, and gone the word now. lies in the hands of the judge. It has swung positively to the judge.
And he said, there is one that judges you, even Moses' law. There is one that judges even now. And you know what that judgment is? Oh yeah, the church said, oh no, no. We can't believe this is it. No, no. We will not go along with that. They're just like old Eve. Just like old Eve. Hebrews 6. It's impossible for those once for all enlightened to taste the heavenly gift. Partake the Holy Ghost. Taste the good word of God. The power of the world to come. Having fallen away, no more repentance.
No more hand in the cookie jar. No more saying, I'm sorry. No more chance to change the mind. All these fence sitters that go this way, that way, sit on a fence. Don't go with the whole word of God. Listen, fall on one side of the fence and get over it.
I can tell you one thing. Let's get this flat. If there is any place in the church that two people can get along, It will be a believer and an unbeliever, but never a make -believer.
He's the worst of the worst.
Let our church be divided down the middle. It ain't going to work. Even though I want it to work, it ain't going to happen. This church will have. If it doesn't have now, God knows I could be phony myself. You don't know and I don't know. We care less. But this church, like every church, has to have believer, make -believer, and unbeliever. And if we don't have now, we're soon going to get them.
Oh, don't worry. Yeah. You can say what you want. You can say, hey, don't bug me, man, because they'll be around to bug you. Try telling that to the devil.
Well, he said, my job is bugging.
Yeah. He'll come around to that. He said, no, no, you can't fool with me because I ain't fooling with you. You say, you ain't fooling me? What's going on? He said, I'm dead serious because I want you dead.
You know, the blacks rose up and they said, let's get whitey. Let's take a dozen or twenty with us when we go. The devil's going to take billions when he goes. I'm not saying anything against the black people. I'm just telling you the fact they made their statement. Let's take them. The devil said, I'm going to take all I can take with me. He's going to do it. Why? There you are, brothers and sisters. Righteous judge. Prophet turned judge. The day of the Lord. No, sir, you cannot talk of judgment without healing in his wings. And you cannot talk about healing in his wings, which is a judgment outside the other. You've come to the place where Peter stands up again. William rattles up. And he said, your money perished with you. She said, I'll see it burn where you're going to burn. And you know that's true. Where's that head of gold going to be? That old Babylonian head. It's going to be down there.
Our head of gold, brothers and sisters, is going to sit in the throne. We're going to sit with him. We're right there today. Look, immortality is here, or I don't know what it's all about.
Look, either it's right here on our doorstep, or we have been sold somewhere. Something monumental, God knows, was Brother Branham dropped down here, not from his mother's womb, but from Mars?
Did he come down here from some unknown planet? Are there strangers out there in space that want to help us? Hogwash.
There was a stranger in Bethlehem's manger and he's still a stranger and he's still trying to help us.
And the Holy Spirit is down here making everything propitious to bring everything under him where man can be reconciled in God in a beautiful kingdom down the road, brother, sister. And he sent a vindicated prophet like he's always done and laid it on the line. And let me tell you, not one elect is going to be deceived. Not one elect is going to fall. There isn't one that won't come in. There isn't one that will not be glorified. That's right. You say, what's this message all about? It's to encourage you to let you know the hour in which you stand. The deep mysterious things of Almighty God. What do you think it was all about? Huh? I'm going to let you go home. Stand up and enjoy yourself. If you can't enjoy yourself, endure yourself. That's what I've been doing. Enduring myself. I'm not too good at it. I'll read you what Brother Brown has said because I can't quote you word for word. And he says this, the spirit of wisdom comes into the church. to make known to the church by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Not William Branham, but the Holy Spirit himself will bring a revelation, bringing the church in, revealing what they were living in. Just the same as Gabriel came to Daniel. The Holy Spirit comes to the church in the last days to reveal the great deep secret things of God. Why are you here today? The great deep secret things of God? To know the hour you're living in. The bread that's going to take you over. You're not feeding on the words of a man. Brother Brown said you're feeding on the body word, the Lord Jesus Christ. That word which is his flesh right now. That is life. And remember, he that liveth and believeth in me shall never perish. Do you believe this? Absolutely. You say, what if I die? He raised you. We're not going to go to a culture because we believe the word of God. I can't buy that. Okay, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we just praise and thank you again for mercy and grace. The love of Almighty God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. for the good things, Lord, that you have predisposed at our benefit. Just to think, Lord, that a soul awakened by the Holy Spirit touching that little molecule, microcosm down there within us, that little seed, that little seed that needs to be brought quickly to attention, absolutely come to life and everything say amen to the revealed Word of God. Lord, and not being afraid to come to the Word. Oh, God, we've seen it down through the ages. Or even Paul said after 14 years, he went to Jerusalem wondering. And John the Baptist said, is this the right one? There's going to be a people, I believe with all my heart, who are going to say, this is it! And it won't be the gross outworkings of a man's mind. It won't be something the devil put in there. But it will be you, Lord, having circumcised the hearts and the mind, until there is just one element that stands in a bride, and that is that word. Not one doubt, not one doubt, but knows, like Job said, I'll stand on this earth and flesh with my Redeemer. There's a group standing here that knows this is that generation that will not pass away till healing in the wings has spread immortality. Father God, I'm very happy to be a part of that. If I was no more than just an onlooker, I would have to say I'm happy to know at least I've got that far. That I could be somewhere in a company that will be there at that great day rejoicing, as the Scripture said, he that hath the bride is the bridegroom, and he that hath the bridegroom is the bride. Yes, we would stand there. And rejoice. But Lord, we believe that in spite of ourselves, we don't look to ourselves. But we look to you. Our eyes are upon you. That we're a part of that glorious company. Small, but magnificent. For omnipotence is about to meet omnipotence. It's already met it. But not yet in such a way that it's been fulfilled to do certain things. Which will be done hereafter. But it has met with one thing at least and that is that word faith. Everything needed to put us in the rapture has been given us. Lord, it's been good to be here with your people. Look at the word. Just go into it, Lord God. And to rejoice in it and not in ourselves. For we have nothing in ourselves and we care less. We don't look to ourselves anymore because why would we? Why would we? We look to you, O God. And we thank you. Now, heal the sick amongst us, Lord. Bring in a standard, O God, against the enemy. It's been raised up amongst us, Lord, years ago. It's been going on since 46 as never before.
The greatest thing of all, immortality. We have amongst us tonight, this afternoon, Lord, the whole. And the whole always contains the part. And we know that healing is a witness to the resurrection and immortality. And the word of immortality is now here. He who is life is here. Therefore, it is no great thing to claim the healing of God. And we thank you for it. And rejoice with joy and speaking full of glory in it all. Unto the King eternal and more than visible, the only wise God, the all -power and honor and glory through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen. The Lord bless you.
I don't like to twist away from the spiritual side of the service, but we are going to baptismal service. If you so desire, we might all just go to it. And then before the majority of you get away, you've got to come back this way anyway. And you should decide, I think, what you might do for the coming weekend because we'll have, as far as I know, quite a few people.
Jesus with you, time of sorrow and of woe.
Thank you.
