The Message Archive is a free library of the sermons of William Branham and Lee Vayle. We collect as little about you as we can, we never sell it, and we do not show ads or use tracking or advertising cookies.
What we collect
- If you only read and listen: nothing that names you. Our hosting keeps short technical logs (such as your internet address and the page asked for) to keep the site running and stop abuse.
- If you create an account: your email address and your password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody, including us, can read it.
- What you do with an account: the passages you save and where you stopped listening, so you can pick up again.
- AI search questions: when a member uses AI search, we keep the question, the date and its cost, linked to the account. We use this to keep within the monthly AI allowance and to improve search. The site owner can read these questions.
- Limits against abuse: to count searches and sign-ins, we store a scrambled code made from your internet address, never the address itself. These counts expire within hours.
- On your own device: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and your chosen text size. Both are needed for the site to work, so we do not ask for cookie consent.
Who helps run the site
These services handle information for us, only to run the site:
- Vercel (United States): hosts the website.
- Supabase (United States): stores accounts, saved passages and the library.
- Cloudflare (worldwide): stores the recordings, runs search by meaning, and checks for robots.
- Anthropic (United States): when a member uses AI search, the question is sent to Anthropic’s AI to turn it into search terms. Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
Because these services are outside Canada, your information may be stored in the United States and other countries.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while you have an account. When an account is deleted, its email, saved passages and listening places are deleted; its past AI search questions are kept without any link to you, for our records.
Your choices
- You can use the library without an account.
- You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Write to themessagearchive@outlook.com from the email address on the account. We answer within 30 days.
- If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
The site is open to everyone to read and listen. Accounts are for people 13 and older.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over an encrypted connection, passwords are hashed, and only the site owner can see account details. No system is perfectly safe; if something ever goes wrong with your information, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. See also our Terms of use.
