Prayer and Communion

Bro. Lee Vayle Sept 3,1978

Shall we pray. Heavenly Father, again we thank You for Your throne of mercy, [audio cuts out, restarts with message in progress]

1. …He knows what we need before we ask it. Now, in other words, don’t try to convince God that you need a certain thing. And don’t try to convince God, that He should give you certain things. He already knows. Just humbly, simply, going to the Lord, according to His Word, to ask what He says you can have. Now, if He didn’t say you could have it, don’t ask for it. Again, the Scripture warns us "that he that turns away his ears from hearing the law of God, it starts to become an abomination." [Prov 28:9] And many people pray, like I said a thing not too long ago, …a fellow phoned one day, he told a friend of mine, he said, so and so wants you to pray for him, because he’s in trouble financially. You know, pray for more money…like.

And I said, “I will not.” I said, “You tell him from me that I haven’t got any Scripture for it.” What I do have a Scripture for is; “Give and it shall be given unto you.” [Lk 6:38] Now, that really threw that fellow for a loop. Now, I didn’t mean to throw him for a loop, but I’m a pretty blunt preacher. And I know only one thing. And that is if I cannot sow for the Word God and live by it, why should I preach on It? Yeah, no woman loves to be kissed by a man that’s a philanderer. Man runs around with every woman, then comes home kisses her to make subject. (Yuck) You think I wouldn’t vomit? Pardon me, I was going to say something else. You bet I would vomit. You think I could stand a woman running around with another men, then come home to me? Forget it. God has more respect for Himself, than I have got for myself. And He said, “Don’t you disrespect My Word, then come and try to use It.” So, I won’t listen to your prayers.

2. So, you can see here, that the public prayer, would never be the value of the closet prayer. Because in the closet prayer, you get down where God can examine your heart, talk to God and God talk back and begin to iron things out, when in public, you couldn’t do it. You have to deal in sort of generalities. Now, in this manner pray: ‘Our Father who art in heaven, and hallowed be thy name’. In other words, that’s the first commandment. Honor God. There’s no other god before me. Don’t have the images. Don’t have the this, don’t have that. Honor God. ‘Thy kingdom come.’ Of course it’s not just ‘Thy kingdom come’, it’s ‘Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven’, which is the true kingdom of God.

Now, He is saying here, “Lord, we have the utmost respect for You.” Because the thought of our Father in heaven, puts Him into supreme position. Because heaven thinks in terms of that which is above, the higher plain. And it also speaks in terms of government. My Father which art in heaven, isn’t God a million miles away, sitting up there in grandeur and glory. It's God, You are in the driver’s seat, You are the Sovereign. You are the King. And I’m dealing with Him, who is in authority. And as Nebuchadnezzar said so truly, when he came back to reality, “There’s a God that rules in the heavens and the earth, the armies of this earth, and He taketh up whom He will, and puts down whom He will. And He has His way, no man can say what we’re doing, and why we’re doing it.” [Dan 4:34-37]

3. So, here is the consciousness, of that great doctrine of sovereignty. And He says, “Thy kingdom come.” Looking forward to the Millennium. ‘Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. Looking for the heart to be as thoroughly subdued here, under the influence of the Holy Spirit. As the angels and archangels, are in obedience to the unbending will of God. That’s right. Angels and archangels and cherubim are in a straight-jacket. “Do It.” It’s done. You and I have a choice. The choice lies in our souls. Whether to believe, or to doubt. Now, the great prayer here is, “Lord, I admit You’re sovereign. I’m looking at myself whom You Judge, You are not here to force me. So, I believe in Your sovereignty, and take liberties too many times, to my avail, forgive me. I want to be nice. I want Your will done here, by my own volition. By my obedience and love to You. As when You commanded the heavens, It is done. Let me be that so, I’m that kind of a guy. ”

Now, you know that’s what we all long in our hearts. Why shouldn’t we say it? And then He says, ‘Give us this day, our daily bread.’ Why? Because It means, that I will not put the speaking of, and a searching of, or the working my daily bread, above serving Jesus Christ, in my spirit.

4. Now, I’m not going to say I’m going to run down and talk to Bro. Smith, and Bro. Guenther, or Bro. Jack, and I’m not going to work today. It doesn’t mean when I go on the job to hammer nails, and scrub floors, and do dishes and run these computers, and do the typing and all, I’m going to take the boss’s time to talk about Jesus. It’s not there at all. You’re not paid to talk about Jesus when you’re on the boss’s time. What are you expecting too? For he says, “Lord I am putting myself in position here, but I want you to know, that there is nothing in my life, that I will succumb to, as far as making a living is concerned. That I would dare to do anything which is beyond Your Word. So, Lord, I’m expecting You to help me, and in the long end of it, You are the Provider, not, I myself”.

So, I hope you’re getting my thought here. Because it’s just too easy for people to get so involved in their work and all, that they’re not willing to take time for God. It doesn’t mean taking the boss’s time, and somebody else’s time, it means just what we’re talking about here. But Lord, I must not be so busy with the cares of this world, and the making of my bread, that I may ever forget, that You feed the sparrows, and You take care of the lilies. There’s got to be, time in my life for God. And as I put time in my life for God, above the necessities and cares, then God would be obligated to see the necessities and cares don’t overcome me. Naturally. See? So he's praying out good prayer. Now, ‘He forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.’ Now that one there, I have an idea, that some of us would sort of like to cross out of the Bible.

5. Lord, would you forgive me? But the other fellow, I don’t care if You forgive him or not. Lord, You forgive me and I’m going to hold a grudge. No, I’ll tell you what, this is sticky, right here. This is sticky. There are so few people, who do not hold something against somebody. Huh? Now, you know I like to let my hair down and I kind of like to kid, you know, not make light of anything, but just sort of drive It home. How many of you right here as adults, have cleared your hearts against your own parents? Maybe, some of which are even dead. Now, come on. Are your hearts all cleared? What about some of your living ones, now? You’re not going to raise your hand, but just think it over. If something crosses your mind that your parents did, or somebody years ago, what happens here? Huh? What comes up from down here? You know that people seventy, eighty years of age, die, and right today who have grudges.

Do you know, that the quick lack of forgiveness, is the root of ninety percent of our problems, if not ninety-nine? And it is hard, in fact it seems almost impossible for the average person, even the Christian, to apprehend, to grasp what I’m talking about here. It’s that Jesus Himself taught us to pray, in such a way as to condemn or acquit us. Not according to the Blood. Not according to the New Year, giving to the high priest, or to Jesus. But according to our own way of forgiveness. I’ll have to ask the question again now. Don’t raise your hand, but just think it over.

6. Can you honestly follow this, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors? Would you like to be in that position today, to be forgiven as minutely, or less, poorly, as we forgive others? Because forgiveness is to remove the faults from the individual entirely. It is to have such a frame of mind, as to disassociate the person from the evil committed, and throw it behind and forget it. What did some of your mother’s do to you, and some of your father’s do to you, that causes you problems right today? And you’re not happy about it, and you’re not happy about the person that caused it. Now, I know what I’m talking about. Because I’ve got my weak moments, I’ve got my black moments. But do you know something? To store up debt, isn’t worth a plug nickel.

To store up i-o-u’s if you owe them, isn’t worth a plug nickel. But to store up their debt, and their i-o-u’s, oh, you'd be worth a lot. What I’m saying is this: to forgive them, and wipe it out, means that they owe you, you owe nothing. And God will take care of you when the chips are down. Now, He did teach us as I say to pray, in such a way as to put us on the spot. How much can I be forgiven, if I don’t forgive? You say, “What does that mean on the future?” What does it mean about me, when I do consider the fact that Jesus Christ is my surety? And I stand there in His righteousness. What I’m talking about now, is the hour in which we are living, what we’re praying about. I don’t have to pray about, “Lord, make sure the Millennium is okay.” And tickle the tigers. Tigers, lie down, and they don’t come and scratch me.

7. Now, I hate mosquitoes, and I pray now Lord at the Millennium, “Would You please take care of those miserable, rotten mosquitoes?” I don’t want to get bit, they can’t draw blood anyway. Because we won’t have any blood. No, He’s talking about now. Now, is the day to forgive. Now, is the hour we’re after. Now, is the time in this life. So therefore, we ought to do this according to His Word. Now, we say, ‘Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’ Well why believe in God lead into temptation? Well, everything is of God. The very thing that is good could be a temptation to you. In other words, give us the ability to discern how to use, what is before us. How to act and react, concerning what is here. Lord, you sharpen my sense of spirit, so I know what to do about it, in any situation.

Not, Lord, Lord, don’t lead me into temptation. …?... is going to set something out here, and He’s going to have to check that person, to see if he is involved. It’s not that way at all. Although that could be a part of it. Because remember, God allows Job to be tested to the limits. He allows Peter to be tested. But you’ll notice, the testing lay in what God put out there, and what their reaction was. The reactions came back good. There’s old David, comes along with four hundred and ninety-nine wives, …at least several hundred by this time. And God set back, and he prayed iniquitous back there. And he fell for it. Now, God didn’t make him fall for it. God gave him a proper provision with all his wives. Why didn’t he go to them? See? God made David fall, and not by His own fault. God knew He’d make Adam fall. God didn’t make anyone fall.

8. Adam just forgot what God said. He said, “I am putting her there, and you will leave Me for her.” And Adam did. Now, look at the Bible, full of the reality of what God said, “Watch, watch, watch, watch, watch, do, do, do, don’t do, don’t do, don’t do. Compare, see this, see that.” The man falls isn't God's fault. Now God will chasten the person, and brings him back, that’s true. I’m reading on here, ‘And lead us not into temptation’, …God doesn’t lead anybody into temptation. But seeing God is the author of all things, many things constitute a temptation. Now, give me the wisdom, to discern, to know what to do, and how to do it. See? Deliver us from evil. Now who but God can do that? See?

Literally, what would be the deliverance of God considering the temptation? Lord, let me see it in it’s true light, and let me react according to You …We were talking today in the car…about this sin problem that is in the world today. There's a certain judge in …Illinois, I think it was…they kicked him out, because there was a rape case there and judge said, “Listen if women dress the way they dress, they are inviting an attack.” Now he didn’t say the boy was justified in attacking. Now, I know this may not sit very pretty. But I’m sorry. You’ve got to tell it the way it is. The judge was right. The way the women present themselves, is certainly terrible these days. And I know it’s so common, they say, “Well, it’s your filthy mind.” Is that a fact? Then call God a filthy mind, and see what happens on judgement day. See?

9. Now, God laid that Word down. The judge was right, to a point. He wasn’t condoning what the boy said. But you know, they got the judge kicked out. Women’s lib. Women are going to say, “I can present myself anyway I want.” If that’s the case, then you’d better licence every prostitute. Say carte blanche go ahead. Now, what am I saying here? "Deliver us from evil." God, …listen…it’s good to learn to pray before a thing ever happens. It’s good to know if you’ve got a weakness in here. You’ve got something. It’s an area of danger. Pray before it happens. Lord God, when I need this thing out here, let me need it right, so I can be delivered. Deliverance in this respect, comes before, not after. See? Just like I have often illustrated.

If you save up enough money, and you’re like a Rockefeller, …which we aren’t. And it’s a good thing. You don’t need to do it. Unless it’s toward God. The big bill comes in, it says, “You owe ten thousand dollars.” Rockefeller says, “No problem, write the check.” He’s fortified. Now, it would be pretty hard for one of us to write a ten thousand dollar, check, without bouncing. You know, let's face it, I’m not Rockefeller, he’s fortified. Now, think about what the Bible is teaching here, …fortification. See? Not, in prison, with the hand of God reaching down and extracting you, but keeping you from prison. See? Pray to be fortified. 10. I believe Bro. Branham. What he said, “Prayer is not given so you can get things from God, but prayer, that is if you can convince God that you can have them. But, prayer is where you get before God, to convince yourself before God.” See? And you’re amenable toward His Word.

What a difference there would be in our lives, if we got up early in the morning, and fortified ourselves for the day that lay ahead of us. You know, Mueller, was quite a fella. He really understood how to serve God, please God, and also receive from God. And he learned this one thing in life which is so great, which I’m talking about now, that fortification lies in the Word. And he said, “There was a time he used to learn to take the Word of God and read It, and I read to learn It. But (he said), there came the day when I learned to feed on It.” And he said, “I used the Word to so feed my soul, then when I prayed, prayer became a reality, and God answered.” And you know, the stories of that man are fantastic how when the tables were bare, there was no bread at all, and no milk. He would say, “Look if you believe we’re going to thank You God, for what we are about to receive.”

And there they would bless the food which was going to come in. And it never failed. For there was a bang, bang on the door, and the bread man said, “Oh, Mr. Mueller,” (he said) what it is, I had a great mistake in the bakery, we over baked. I didn’t know it was holiday time, we can’t sell our bread, can the orphans use it?”

“Thank you. (he said) when you thank God for bread.” And pretty soon there was a bang, bang, bang on the gate again. And the milkman’s truck had broken down, and he said, “The milk will be spoiled, you might as well have it.” So, he said, “Children, bread and milk, we live like kings.” See?

11. Because the man was properly fortified. See? Just as Scripture warns us. It said, “What man would build a house without counting the costs?” [Lk 14:28] He starts to build a house, and he says, “Oh, I ran out of money.” And they said, “How many of you have you ever been down the road and seen those buildings that are sitting there? What happened? What happened was, ‘I ran out of money’. Didn't count the costs. What about the king that went to warfare? And the fellow met him down the road with a bigger army? Had to send in the emissaries, to peace, look like a fool. Started a war and couldn't finish it. Started a house, and couldn’t finish it. No fortification. Men that think they're called to preach. And I’m one of them. So, I stand up here and blast the preacher from the top of his head, to the sole of his feet. Say, "I’m called to preach." Don’t count the costs. Run down the road. Forget it. You’ll come back with your tail between your legs.

They’re not dedicated to stand there. Forget it. If you’re going to have your stomach turned and churn. Without you pulling one little deal. Forget it. I mean it, get fortified, or forget it. That’s right. That’s what we’re talking about, not something else. Now, ‘for Thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory.’ Now, this man is not suggesting, but he has come to the place where he is absolutely without hope, without Jesus. I sound more like a preacher than a pew member, I’ll tell you that flat. Not that few don’t get that way. They better get that way, but the church sounds like what I’ve been through. If it’s not going to be Jesus, stay home. But you’re going to need Him. You’re going to need God brother/sister.

12. And let me tell you something flat. You are no different from a preacher. Because you will have your problems, the same as I have had mine. I remember years ago, I didn’t have any more than the next fellow did. I don’t think I’ve got that much more than the next fellow has now, if I got that much. And I was talking to some of the brethren that used to go to our church in …?... And I sat in the Baptist church there. And I was mentioning how that, you know…you give. God blesses the giver.

“Well, (they said) Bro. Vayle, you can use it, because, you’re a preacher.”

I said, “Come again?”

That’s just about the last guy, that’d ever do it. No, brother/sister. Listen: I’ve lived on forty-five dollars a week, when many made a hundred. I didn’t need to go out and eat breakfast of ham and eggs, pancakes, and potatoes, the whole bit, as though I owned the whole world. No. My wife and I had a cup of coffee and eggs, and a piece of toast. We took the twenty percent right off the top. I used to drive hundreds of miles, and go to a motel that would cost me thirty-six dollars. My offering was thirty-three dollars and forty cents. Never mind the miles, and the care of myself on the road, and the food there, to do somebody service. Now, good preachers are going …?... You’ve got to go through it too. I don't know what your burdens and problems are going to be, but this is a universal prayer to everybody.

13. And if It’s a prayer of faith, smarten up. Yeah. I’ve got to grin about it, because I’ve got to take the pressure off you. But it’s the truth, it’s a fair thing. Smarten up. You know, those that learned the ways of God, years ago sat around looking for the miracles. And you know, that’s been the trouble every generation, every church, every single thing that is on this earth. Every part of that Bride of Christ went through the same thing. And the majority…and I’m going to tell you this though. God is going to hold the Bride to knowing His ways. And you can see here what He’s saying, “Fortify, fortify, fortify.” Yes sir. Now, He said here, and I like It, ‘For Thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory.’ In other words, "You’re the boss." Look what He starts with. He starts, “Our Father which art in heaven,” You’re the boss.

He comes right down here, and after bringing us what I’m talking about. He says, “Remember, I’m the boss.” Huh? You know, I wish men could be more like Jesus. It sure would be good for the wives and the family. Then they could say, “Remember, I’m the boss.” It’s pretty hard for a woman and kids to buckle down to a man, when he doesn’t act too much like Jesus. But he's the post of duty, as long as he tries to do what’s right. In the pulpit, what I’m bringing you here. What God is laying down even in praying, which you offer back to God, with a consciousness of what it’s all about, and each time saying, “I’m the boss.” See? You act like a good little buddy. I like the fellow very much. Very, very, much. Homer, he’s almost an alcoholic. And one day he said, “Look, I got to quit this.” And he talked to God, and God helped him, got off the bottle, just like that. snaps fingers]

14. That’s a true taste of, …what I believe, is the way it should be done. That, God helping the man to do it. But do you know what he’s got trouble with? He’s got trouble with his boss over him. Because his boss, wants things done a certain way, that this boy being idealistic, does not want to be done a certain way. Now he said, “Now (he said) look Lee, I don’t care if the boss does say, you do it a certain thing a certain way, with those machines. It cannot turn out quality material, so I won’t do it.” I’ve got news for you. That boy’s wrong. Well you say, ‘Bro. Vayle, he can’t be.” Don’t you butt in, or talk back, let me tell you flat that boy is wrong, he’s not the boss. Now, he can either quit, or, do as the boss says.

You say, “Then Bro. Vayle, if he does wrong, and the boss tells him, what about it?” Then, the boss will stand before God, not the boy. You think for one minute, if I had conscription in this age, and your boy was conscripted to go in the army. And your boy and your daughter, pulls out a gun and kills somebody, would they be responsible? No, they wouldn’t be. The government would be responsible. And one day, God will judge America. Let’s get this in our heads. You're the boss, God. Okay. That’s better. I learned a good lesson back in the days when Bro. Branham was with us then. I told you about how I couldn't see what he was saying for four and a half hours, and then, when I challenged him on his experience, he said, “I put down in my notes, but Bro. Vayle, we don’t go by experience, we go by the Word of God.”

15. I said, “Okay, you’re the boss.” I learned he was the boss, right there. I remember years back, I was in a certain church, I took away their gifts. They were Charismatics. And I was so tickled to take away their gifts, man, I took away the vengeance and I was as mean as a snake, I got bit by himself. But his tail got run over by a car. And I wasn’t that mean, really. I knew I was spot on. You know, if you believe in these peculiar charismatics things, and you know, demonstrations with convenience…good. But they put such an emphasis on that, I decided I, (you know) destroy the little red wagon, which I did. I got them so mad, they were hopping. God gave me a dream three times in a row, the same dream. And I knew I was in for it, because someone was going to come and really blast me. The fellow came, he shouldn't, the deputy did, because I knew he didn’t tell the truth. Because I went and checked out.

It was wrong what he did. I went in my room before God, and I talked to God, and God said, “You’re the one that’s to blame.”

And I said, “Come again?”

He said, “You’re the one that’s to blame.”

And He gave me a vision, He showed me in a vision, …handed a little baby a toy, while he took away the other toy. He said, “You don’t take away a baby’s toy, unless you give him something else.” He said, “They couldn’t take what you had to give them. You took away their toy, give it back.” Now, I was a great tremendous preacher, with a great knowledge, and said great things. I think. I got to …?... …?... with my head hanging down. And apologized, and I did, I gave them back their toys. Yes sir. Brother/sister, God’s the boss. That’s why we have a Word, the way It is. Sovereign God, sovereign Boss.

16. And you know something? There’s no way that God can get any glory and any honour, unless He is sovereign Boss. And we believe His Word. And then He said, “Amen.” Then He went on again, and He repeated what was in the prayer. Now get this; ‘For you forgive men their trespasses, and Your Heavenly Father, will forgive you also, but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.’

Now, what’s He talking about? He’s talking about Father training up children. There’s a book by Dr. Lovett, I haven’t bought it, and I don’t suppose I’m going to get it again, …?... three. He said, “How quick can you forgive those who would be coming against you?” And I know if I get his book, which I don’t need to, it’s going to be this [snaps fingers] quick.

Here’s a little illustration, and a little preamble of his book. That is the little brochure. And he said, “He’d just picked up things in his garage, and some kids graffiti minded came by and wrote on his garage. And he gritted, “Oh, if I could just get…” And he said, “Now, hold it, if I can't forgive them, who's going to forgive me?” Because you’ve got another can of paint, paint it over. The man’s right. That’s pretty good for a Baptist. Now look, if I was in an organization…which I am not…and never would be, I would be a Baptist. Now, you might not like that. But I would be. That would be the closest thing that would be what we see at this hour ourselves. The man’s right.

Now notice, the reiteration of the two things. The sovereignty of God, the necessity of forgiveness, the humility of praying, which is the constant recognition of the necessity of the fortification, by God Himself. Now, my time goes fast, I must love to preach. That’s my trouble, my weakness. Get talking on a subject that begins thinking, thinking, the thoughts being coming by the thousands almost. Okay.

17. I’m going to take you right now to Ephesians 6: and bypass everything else. Ephesians 6: 10-13 and we’re going to read,

(10) Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, …

Just what Jesus said in praying. Come to make prayer a place of fortification, building up yourself in the faith.

(11) Put on the whole armour of God, that (you) may be able to stand

against the wiles of the devil.

Now, the word ‘wiles’ is the same word that the Methodist get their word from, which is ‘method.’ Understand the Methods of God. Understand the methods of the devil. Smarten up. See? Now listen, this takes away mystery. I believe it should.

(12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, (we’re flesh and blood too.)

but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the

darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Well, if that’s the case, I’d sooner wrestle with God, like Jacob did. I would sooner put my faith and my trust in wrestling with myself with God as it were. So, that God could have His way in my life, no matter what happens.

(13) … take unto you the whole armour of God, (thereby you’ll) be

able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

18. Now, let’s look at this word, ‘stand.’ Then, I want you to know, that the word ‘stand’ means persevere. In other words, to take it. Take it on the chin. [blank spot on tape] So, it’s obligated that we do stand and persevere. Now, if you don’t think that’s right, why does the Word of God say it, (you know) about someone you go to? Then, if they don’t listen, then you take the elder. Then if they don’t listen bring them before the church, and let’s face it, …?... like we can bring him back. Standing is a command of God. I told you how on many different occasions how when I found myself quit preaching the first time, I refused to go back the second time, until I was able to stand. I said, "God, I'll stand if it kills me." I will believe if it kills me. I will pray for the sick and they'll get healed, if it kills me. But it’s going to happen. And it happened.

Today people are living, hundreds and hundreds, with the testimony that God has given through my ministry. I don’t do it anymore, because I proved a point. I knew I was called to that in the first place. But I was growing up into something. Taking on some armor, taking on some metal, taking on some back bone…which I still don’t have enough of. Talk in tongues, my mouth is always getting me into trouble. But it was either going in or coming out, no matter what it is. Problems. Put on that armor. Stand, persevere. How do you persevere? Your loins girded with truth.

19. If you don’t know what’s right, how are you going to do it? Where are you going to stand? Do you know at this stage, I showed you Malachi 3: many a time, we’ll just go back to It just for a second.

Malachi 3:18

(18) Then shall (you) return, and discern between… (righteousness) and

…(wickedness), …

Now, you know the church doesn’t know right from wrong. Women type the church, and I’m not against women…it’s just a type. How can women go around in their short skirts, and their short hair, their slacks, their dresses that come up way past their knees, live the way they do? How can they do it? There’s no truth there. The church is outside of the truth. It’s nothing but a conglomeration and a mess of creeds and dogmas, which won’t have the power to take her off the earth. But does have the power to condemn her, and destroy her right here on the earth. As Bro. Branham said, "Amos said of healing, the very God that you say you worship is, going to destroy you.” How are you going to do anything without the truth? The breastplate of righteousness. There’s only one righteousness, that’s the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

20. [Ephesians 6:]

(15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Not just the gospel, but the preparation of it. In other words, knowing, what to present, and how to present It. And over and above all, it doesn’t mean the most final thing, it means covering yourself entirely with the shield of faith.

(16) … (whereby you) … quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (one).

(17) …take the helmet of salvation, (get that mind lined up. Take) the

sword of the Spirit, the word of God:

(18) Praying all (with all) prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Now notice, if you were listening to what I brought out of the Lord’s Prayer, in Matthew 6: you can see this is repeated here. Fortified. See? Why do you think Bro. Branham came? To fortify. Get us ready. The whole thing demands a fortification. Now,

(18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, …

Now, how do you know you’re praying in the Spirit? The Word of God is the Spirit, following the Word.

(18) … watching thereunto with all perseverance (watching, watching,

don’t give up, keep watching.) …

Old Elias was up there in the mountain, …?... a servant. Elijah said, “I’m going to pray for rain.” Now he said, “As it's been dry, the weather's been dry.”

Now he said, “Go look and see if there’s any clouds on the horizon.”

The fellow said, "Nope."

"You go again." Seven times he went.

The seventh time, he said, there's a cloud like a man’s hand."

He said, “Man, you get down here, get down fast” he said. “Because, I can hear what you can’t hear, and I can see what you can’t see, which is a tremendous cloud bursting before we get down out of this mountain. Start moving man, start moving ”

Elijah got so hepped up, he ran past the chariots and the dogs, and horses of old Ahab. Man, that must have been a sight for sore eyes.

21. I’m going to tell what, if a fellow can run that fast downhill, God would have to bring him a chariot horse to bring him up the hill that’s faster than that. Because it just wouldn’t work, otherwise. How can a man go up slow, and even get down so fast? He’d just have got to take off. Because God sent those fiery …?... Went off like a whirlwind. He sure did. Yet, watching, watching, watching. Watching for what? What God’s going to do. What He said according to His Word. Not saying maybe it’s going to happen. Hope it’ll happen, but I believe it’ll happen. Then say, “I know it’ll happen.” I like what Spurgeon said. Spurgeon to me, was on par in this one statement with Bro. Branham, on what Bro. Branham said on the subject.

And Bro. Spurgeon said, “It is my job to believe God for the impossible, and leave the results up to Him.”

Bro. Branham said, “I can’t tell if God’s going to do it. I haven’t been told, I haven’t got the authority, but when I pray, I believe it.” But I like Spurgeon, what he said, “It is my job to believe God for the impossible, and leave the results up to Him.” When I have done that in my life, it has always been beautiful.

22. I think I told you many years ago, a certain fellow in Canada, we went and prayed for this fellow, this man was dying. He was a real bad case, cancer and the whole bit. I talked with the fellow, did the best I could, and prayed. But within a couple of days he died.

This fellow came running over, “Oh, (he said,) the man died.”

I said, “What, so he died.”

“Yes. But, (he said) look, what will I do?”

I said, “Look, try …?... faith”.

I said, “Son, listen. I’m going to tell you something. I will pray for many a man that’s going to die. But I’ll keep on praying.”

If I’m going to have my faith jarred because somebody fails to walk with God, …if I’m going to have my faith, if I could get somebody pulls a dirty trick on me, or somebody turns up a liar, adulterer, or a robber, or some kind of a thief, or an arsonist, or a a criminal. That’s not going to shake my faith. He’s going to do what he wants. I’ve got one job, fortify myself, and pray for him. I’ll tell you one thing, if we don’t fortify ourselves, we ain’t going to pray for nobody. There is fortification.

Right back where Bro. Branham said, “It is not to cause God, or force God, or argue with God, to make God move for you. But it’s to say God, let me be in such a position, that I will be one with that Word.” That's about paraphrasing exactly right, but that’s exactly what it is. I believed that for years. I’ll never cease believing.

23. Now, I want to go to Acts 12: and I want to talk to you about something, from what I see Bro. Branham said. And you can see what you want, that’s your privilege. I’m going to tell you what I see. And you can listen, if you like. It’s okay. King Herod of course, saw when he killed James, he made the people happy, he thought I’ll take Peter, and will kill him too. [Act 12:] verse 4.

(4) … (They put Peter) in prison, … intending (to keep him until) Easter to bring him forth to the people.

And they said, “Crucify him.” …?...

(5) Peter…was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing

(unto) the church (of) God for him.

Not ‘them’, 'him’…right, Is that what It says? Him, not them.

(6) And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains; if we’ve got that boy, we’re going to keep him. Ah, but, not if God wants him out of there.) and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

All right. He’s bound in chains between two men, there's a barred door, and there were guards, outside the door. [They said] “That ought to keep that bird there. We’ll show him this business about God, and a resurrection, doesn’t pay off.”

(7) And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined

in the prison…

The angel of the Lord was a Light, the Pillar of Fire. That’s where Bro. Branham got It.

(7) … Came in) … and …smote Peter on the side, and (rise) up, …

quickly. And his chain fell off (of) his hands. (And nobody woke up.)

(8) And the angel said, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. (They took his shoes off, so he couldn't get away, go and put them on. He did so. (Said) Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

(9) And he went out, and followed him; wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but he thought he saw a vision. (Thought he was dreaming.) ...?...

You know, down the road, and here he was already on the road.

(10) When they were past the first and the second ward, they came to the

iron gate that (leads) unto the city; which opened to them of his own

accord: …

24. Now, It said the gate opened of its own accord. Didn’t say that an angel opened it. You say, "There's intelligence in iron?" If God wants to put it there, there’s all the intelligence to do It. I’m not going to argue, I’m going to believe it. I believe the gate suddenly wanted to open. If I don’t believe that, I cannot not believe in the earth rejoicing for the Millennium. I cannot believe in the trees clapping their hands. But I believe God’s Word. I don’t mind who can get happy here … Oh, praise God. [inaudible comments] You believe what you want. I don’t care what you believe. I believe It,

(10) …they went out, and passed on through one street; and … the angel

(left) him.

(11) … when Peter was come to himself, he said, (Hey, that’s no vision, that is for real)

Man, he must have got happy. Do you know, that’s the way it’s going to be with us? We’re going to without one breath being missed, we’re going to walk into Eternal Life. Immortality. Bring the razor blade, let's see if I'm raptured, or ruptured. [laughter] Not exactly but something like that. And Peter, he thought it was just too wonderful.

(11) … (he came) to himself, (and) Now I know for certain the LORD

hath sent his angel, (the Logos came down) and …(delivered) me out of the hand(s) of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

He said, “You ain't going to get what you expect, because if I didn’t get what I expected, and I got something way better.” But the people were praying for him.

25. Now,

(12) …(you) considered the thing, (and said, I'll) to the house of Mary

the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying (for me.)

(13) And …Peter knocked at the door (and) a damsel, named Rhoda (came.)

(14) And … she (heard) Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness,

ran in, and told Peter stood (at) the gate.

(15) And they said (aw, you’re crazy, you’ve gone mad.) But she (said,

No siree, I’m telling you flat, that’s Peter out there. It's not that, Peter

must be an) angel (must be a spirit come back.)

(16) (And) Peter (began knocking on the door, and) continued knocking: (so) they had (to) open the door, and (there was Peter and they were astonished.)

You know, it’s the truth. When you pray for something like this, and God does it, you feel surprised. You’re gratified, but you’re still surprised. I don’t think we’ll ever get over it. Now, my Lord, and my little story of discernment. And this is all off the cuff, a hundred percent…to get to my little story.

26. My little story is this; and I said it many, many times. Bro. Branham said, “When you have a problem, a real problem, the church comes together and prays for that problem”. Now, the thing Bro. Norman talked about this morning, Bro. Marconda, was dying. His kidneys failed to function. What came down was nothing but blood, and infection. And the doctors and my wife were helping take care of him. She helped get the medications down because there wasn’t enough nurses. They allowed her to sit there, but of course she could’ve done many things for him, but she wasn’t allowed to do. But she always called someone to help her. So, she never had a proxy, you know how these unions are. You can die, like a miserable dog, if you’re not in the union, or something. And it’s all for your good, or course, …you know. I mean, put ‘er there boy, [slaps his hand] the big green bills, (you know) it’s a bit of a story. But anyway, he was dying. The doctors said there’s no use, just let him die. Well, I don’t know, I’m not a man of compassion. You know that, and I know that. I’m pretty hard. But somehow, I couldn’t see that man dying there. And I guess I was the only one who knew that Bro. Branham had said, or recalled… “When you are confronted, with one of these problems, which means that it’s got to be God or nothing. Then, (he said) you call the church together, and pray.”

27. And so, that Wednesday night, I was asked by Bro. Pearry Green, to take the service…which I usually did when I was out there to relieve him.

Well I said, “Bro. Pearry, something has come across my mind, would you mind if I took this as a meeting to pray for Bro. Marconda?”

He said, “You can do whatever you want.” He said, “It’s fine by me.”

So, I took the basic rudiments, of the first prayer uttered in the Bible, by Abraham. Talked about twenty minutes. And I said what Bro. Branham said, and I said, “We’ll go to prayer now.” And what happened was a revelation. Now, believe me, I am not going to talk about a school, because this would not be nice. I’m going to tell you what happened. After we prayed awhile sincerely, many got off their knees and sat in the seat and began singing choruses. That’s not praying. Others just walked around, and a certain brother, (I won't mentioned) walked out of the building. But a few of us, just stood there on our knees, persevering on our knees, [end of side one some missed on turn over] …until somehow, we knew that It was in the hands of God, where It should be.

27. And God was exposed to us, according to His wisdom and His greatness, because He was sovereign. I can’t explain much to you, because I don’t recall. That was many years ago now, of just what all went through my mind and heart. But at nine o’clock sharp, God healed that man, the urine came freely, he was normal, he went back home. He knew that week, now remember he was eighty, that time he was eighty-five years old, almost. I think within a year or two, because of weakness, and the Bible mentions, if a man by of reason of strength, there’s going to be problems. And his strength went down, day by day.

One morning, Sunday morning, at five thirty, his daughter Clara came in, he was lying awake, with his foot kind of dangling off the couch, …you know how you let one foot dangle down. You’ve done that many times, let your foot rest on the floor, get cooled off. I remember years ago, I remember I put both my feet I'd cool them off, because I was burning up. Dying, not knowing what was doing it. But dying, not caring two cents worth if I was. And she said, “Pop, would you like a cup of tea?”

“Yeah, bring me a cup of tea.”

“I’ll go make you a cup of tea.”

When she got back, just like Jacob, the feet were drawn up on the bed, and he was gone home with God. The doctor came, and he said I’m going to tell you something flat. He did not die of illness, he did not die of sickness, he died, because God took him. The man is not a Christian.

28. Now, what I want you to know is this; Peter therefore, was kept in prison, but prayer was made about fleecing of the church unto God for him. I did not say that there were two there. It wouldn’t say ‘them’. But it doesn’t say two were there. It says one was there with him, for him. See?

Now, here’s the thing, you do what you want. But I could only do it one way. I could not have a prayer meeting that said, “Let us take several requests, that are great requests amongst us, that need an answer to prayer.” Do you follow me now, what I said? All right, let’s just say that there are six people here today, and there were six pervading, …I like the thought of pervading, gripping the seconds of somebody needing help. And you might say, “We are going to pray for all six.” I would say one thing, “Count me out. I will not be with you.”

Even, Oral Roberts knew, and preached for years, if you have six things wrong with you, don’t come to me for six things. At the most come for two. Because you won’t believe for all six. You can’t. Now it’s not that you can’t. Because nobody could. But the odds are against you. You won’t. He said, “You come for that one thing, or two at the most.” The man’s right. It’s not that I haven’t seen people that have been cured of six things in one night. But it’s not the general rule. Now you say, “Bro. Vayle, I’ll anticipate the question, when the thoughts of it arise.” But when he took that one request, what about the other…five? Well, haven't you got enough compassion, and I admit, (don't have hardly any) to come five nights in a row, if necessary? Huh?

29. I want to tell you something brother/sister, what I’m talking about works. I have seen it work. I’ve never seen a failure yet. I have never seen where God ever changed His mind, to what the prophet said. You say, “What if you prayed, or what have you felt the assurance it was in God’s hands?” You’ve been heard, heaven's a response, there’s only heaven standing that will respond, in the wisdom of Almighty God. Now, when you know that, then you know that God Almighty is going to do, the thing that His sovereign judgement, wants done. And from that point on, when you know, there is no necessity to pray further, because it is frankly a final event. You could say, “Well, what if it doesn’t work?” It does work. See? And it works in the oddest way. Because, you say, "likely, I don’t understand God, to tell you how that God will do things."

But I want to tell you what happened in Toronto. Now, when I talk about this couple, believe me I’m not talking in derision. But look I know them. If she wasn’t running with somebody, he was running with somebody. If he wasn’t super spiritual, she was super spiritual. It was nothing, and today I don’t know if it was anything more than a dog fight with them. But they came to church. And he made a profession, I guess he was one of those things you've got to bear with. Baptized correctly. Whatever he believed about, though any word, he believed about this Word.

30. All right. His wife was afflicted with tumors in the womb, and in no consideration, could she have any more children. The tumors would grow cancer. All right. She becomes pregnant. Now this girl, I don’t know if she’s ever had anything from God, or not. I cannot honestly say. I’m not a judge. The proof, does not look good. God only can tell you. Now, she’s scared to death because, the tumors are developing, will go to cancer, and she could die. What do we do? There’s only one thing the prophet said to do. Call a meeting, call a meeting. And now, they called a meeting, and they prayed. She was the one object of the entire prayer group. Now then what happened? The same thing happened. Do you know what happened? She had a miscarriage. And you say, “Well, why didn’t God just take out the tumors, and bring on the baby?” That’s God’s business, not yours and mine.

I’ve got no questions to answer. I’m not here to answer any questions, in that respect. But it might answer some questions in your minds. That what God does with what you pray, is God’s business. See? But when I have listened to the prophet, who stood as God before me, I have listened to God, and said what God wanted. Then, ‘Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done’. And I remember His words, “God, You're boss,” just like you said, I’ve done the praying now. I’ve done what You told me to do, it's in Your hands. And whatever God, wants to do, It will be the best thing, and He will do It. See?

31. Now look, I don’t know who’d require a priority. When these things are done, I've got no idea. I’ve got no idea. But I know, there is no place for anyone to get anything in his heart that would say, “Well you prayed for that one, when I wanted prayer.” Put in the night that you want prayer. Put in your request. Make it known. You think brothers and sisters won’t come together and pray? This is the one time that public prayer is allowed. You say, “Do we all take turns to pray.” No! You all pray aloud, but tarry. Do you pray Saturday? As you wish. Shall we mix it up? Perfectly, if you tarry. Would we sing? No, no. Pray. If you're happy you sing, if there’s a problem we pray. That’s the Bible. See? And you stand there before God. Won’t necessarily be all night. I told you this morning, to receive the Holy Spirit is like receiving any answer to prayer. It’s got to be by faith. And that faith, is when God answers back to your heart, you will know.

32. I remember years ago, I was in problems, I was in trouble physically.. A certain lady and her husband had great faith in on the grounds that she had been healed. Her blood having turned to water. The doctor stood by her bed and said, “The last ounce of blood is turning water, she has two ounces of blood she'll die. I guess she was as white as a sheet of paper. I don’t know if it was cancer of the blood, or what it was. I have no idea, I just know that she was dying. She said the Lord stood by her bed and her body was literally transfused with new blood. She rose up a miracle. I’m only sorry to say, the woman took her miracle, to the extreme of emotion. Somewhere she soon got overboard to think she’s somebody wonderful, because she got healed. You ain’t nothing when you're healed.

33. Third woman I never thought would ever say such a thing, said to a dear friend of mine, she said, “Now, I know where the Lord is. Why I had to suffer so much with cancer and be healed, was to bring the Bride together,” And how about some of you folk getting cancer to bring some of the Bride together? Because we're sure scattered. Now, I’m beginning to hit a little bit hard on the miracles and things. Because don’t you get that and run with them, saying, “Now look, we’ve got this answer, we got that.” Is that a fact? Let me see you pull a rabbit out of a hat. Once the person begins to get mixed up, anything will happen, gets messed right up. See?

So, we keep ourselves in humility. We keep ourselves in the simple faith that the prophet said it. That’s the thing. If I had done what he said, what else could I do? I can’t …?... this woman, for my healing. So, I went that night and I knocked on her door. [inaudible comments] So, you see she was caught in a trap of her own making, because God healed her. Brother/sister, I was dying of TB of the pituitary gland. I think I was having a nervous breakdown, but I’ve got too much backbone to admit to it, I guess. I could have a nervous breakdown and walk through it anyway. That’s my nature. It was tough. But I want to tell you something, it doesn’t make me anything. I've seen cancers disappear before doctor's eyes, the fact that I prayed doesn’t mean anything to me. God did it, I didn’t. See? So, we understand now. We understand here, the correctness, and our attitude, must be the correctness of the Word, as the prophet brought It to us. You have a problem, some of you can’t lick. "If one suffers, all suffer." [1 Cor 12:26] One blessed, all blessed. You bring the request, say what night.

34. Now listen. Don’t come with foolishness. Believe. Don’t come to see if it will work. You’re coming, because God’s Word, says so. Now, we prayed, and we prayed, and we don’t want to pray, because I told them, “Look, if you can’t stay up all night, I might be here all night, they'll go someplace else.”

They said, "We'll be with you all night long." Thank God, they had that at that time. So, we prayed, and them being Pentecostal, they massaged [inaudible comments] …they pulled me down, they pulled me up. They raised my arms, they put them down. Listen, you could have rolled me in tar and feathers, I would’ve said, “Praise God, keep moving, I don't care, keep doing it. I’ve got my eyes on Him.” You said you’d pray with me.

So, I didn’t care what happened, they went too long with their arrhythmics. Yeah. …?... it wasn’t their antics. It wasn’t Pentecostalism. It was standing right before God, and suddenly I knew that I knew, and that’s all I knew, was right here. When that hit right here…the mind, it went right down into the heart…and I said, "I'm healed." And I was. No feelings, no evidence, no big joy, no big things. Big smile. That’s it! And I walked. Now brother/sister, let’s be honest. What I’m talking about was not done in a corner. It's Bro. Branham’s ministry that brought us the Word, …which Word we know to be true. Because the vindication was not in a corner, it’s around the world.

35. So, we have the blessed assurance tonight, …that when you have these problems, please do not come to church when somebody else is putting his problem or her problem in. And say, “Ha! It’d be a great night to have mine.” Sit down, and pray for that person. Do you follow me? Now, I’m as rough as a cob, I’m sorry. I do not agree with my brethren, I don’t care who he is or she is. They would tell me many a request. Then one night, probably with what the prophet said, “I don’t buy it.” Now, you buy what you want. If you think you can bring six requests, do it. Which in your mind is going to take priority? You say, “The little girl with leukemia. Sweet little darling, she mustn’t die.” What if it’s the man with the backache that God wanted to heal that night? And you put your priority where God didn’t want it. Huh?

Who’s going to decide out of the six? Could I give you four requests as you’re sitting here tonight? Four requests, and you wouldn’t put a priority there, knowing the people? Now, back to me being very honest. And I hate being honest. In a certain sense of the word. Now, let me tell you something. Huh? Look, I’ve got friends in this world, that I am not worthy of. They just haven’t caught on that I stick out everywhere. I am associated with people so superior to me, I don’t even know what I am doing here. I have people that love me, that I don’t deserve any love. Yet if there was a prayer meeting, let’s get this straight. If any one of you put your request in alongside of mine, you wouldn’t get priority, I would. You know why? Because they love me. I’ve been in their pulpits, I’ve never done them harm, I brought them good.

36. I’ve lifted up every pastor, beyond myself. They love me. One phone call, I’d have many men come to see me. My landlord can’t understand it, because he knows me and what I’m like. What I am. He says, “Lee” you can’t take it, he knows what I’m like, running around half mad all the time. His wife’s wonderful. Which is true. But do you know something? You know I’m telling you the truth. If Bro. Evans, you wanted your prayers answered, and I wanted mine, would they pray for you or me? …let’s be honest, I would get it. Right? That’s why you can’t have two men [pray] in one night, we’re human. Even though I’d say, “Forget me, pray for those.” And you would say the same thing. And who are you going to pray for? One at a time. One at a time. If it takes one night, four nights, I believe. For, honestly before God, you want to see God move. [blank spot on the audio]

He said, the Word of God came forth and carried right through to the end. And I said, “Thank you Lord,” and went out the door. See? He walks with me, and He talks with me, if we give Him a chance. And [inaudible comments] Holy Spirit is there for that reason. The trouble is, we allow Him to talk …?... See? But tonight we can. We can say, “Lord, I’ve heard different things tonight, and now, talk to me.” Where are my feelings, you don’t know? Where am I doing right? You can’t be that too, sincerely. The voice that talks with John, was a conversational, the voice that talked back and forth. As I study my Bible I believe that God is a hundred times more times anxious to talk to us, then He wants us to talk to Him, but He does.

37. And He wants us to talk to each other in a certain way. Which is this Word, and a Word of encouragement. …?... …?... but, let me tell you tonight. I don’t want to see one person here, … and I’m not talking about kids now. Because I can’t include little children that don’t understand. But if there’s anybody here tonight, that’s even saved, not necessarily born again. But saved, even though you might not have the Holy Spirit, but you do want to receive the Holy Spirit, I want to say this: I don’t believe you have any right to sit there, and not do what God said to do, by taking the cup, and foot washing. Now, if you’re in a gross sin of immorality of sexual adultery or fornication, don’t you dare take it. But you better make your lives right.

Anything short of that, you do what you're told. Not Lee Vayle telling you. Because the Bible said, “If you don’t, there’s condemnation.” You want to be right tonight? God never put me through these things when I was young brother/sister. They didn’t put mountains that couldn't be tunnelled through, He didn’t put rivers that couldn’t be bridged. He never put oceans that cannot be sailed. No. He never even put a moon and a star, that man cannot reach by some mechanical means. Then how much more can God be reached by the Blood of Jesus Christ tonight? It cleanses us, and gives us fellowship. The Lord bless you. Shall we pray.

Heavenly Father, maybe take a long time to talk to the folk. I supposed a good hour and a half. But then again, Lord, talking to Your folk here, about Your Word, and in Your Word, and looking to You does something good for us. Feeling You have a Presence, feeling Your sacred Presence. Feeling You here, Lord. And we can say what You told us to say. You’re God, we admit it. You’re in the driver’s seat. Lord, you know, my heart has been set for many years now, with what Abraham said, “Shall not the judge of all the earth do right?” Lord, You, know my heart. Sure, is rotten, I know that. But I also know one thing, that I know You are the Judge, O God, and You’re in the final disposition. Whatever You say, goes. Just like You’re sovereign.

Lord, today help us that we won’t put anything like daily bread above the real great necessities of life. And tonight, Lord Jesus, we would forgive everybody, lock, stock, and barrel. Those that have hurt us. Those who have already gone on. Those that are in the process of hurting us. And those in the process of going to hurt us. Before they do it, O God, let the forgiving Spirit of Jesus Christ, be upon them. Because, Lord, I know it is as the prophet said, and Paul said, “I cannot forgive anybody in myself, but it is Christ in me, that does the forgiving.” And, Lord, I’m turning it over to You, this evening. You’re doing the forgiving tonight, O God, it is all out of our hands. Now, we put it in Your hands. Let the balm of Gilead, let the waters of separation, wipe it all away now, and wash it all out.

Lord, as the footsteps upon the sands of the shore, are washed when that plunging wave comes in, there's a greater mightier wave, the Blood of Jesus Christ, by the Holy Ghost, Lord, to take away every footprint from the sands that shouldn’t be there. Making the record clear. Washed in the waters of separation, by the Word of God.

Heavenly Father, we commend ourselves, commit ourselves into Your hands. Every one of us, there’s not one too dumb, there’s not one too smart. There’s not one too healthy. One too strong, one too weak, one too sick. No sir. Every one of us, Lord, tonight, put ourselves in Your hands.

Now, Lord, as we set our hearts to do what You told us to do, we do it with joy and gladness. That this is the thing to do. And we’re going to do it. We’re going to do it, Lord, we know our weaknesses. Lord. We talk to You about them. We’ve prayed about them. We’ve hated them. We hate the flesh, even most of all our own flesh that gets spots from time to time. Lord God, tonight there really is nothing that’s hidden. I don’t believe, Lord, that …huh…comes right down to it, there isn’t one person here that isn’t somebody, maybe everybody all we know, but the weakness in each one of us is. And here we’re struck around here, kind of foolishness as though somebody knew that weakness. They already know it. Kind of silly, isn’t it, Lord?

Just forgive us for our foolishness, our naughtiness, our silliness. No wonder the prophet said we’ve got to get more, sincere. More so, but help us Lord at this time. Just more sober, more sincere. God bless every family. Lord, don’t let one be missing from the family. I’m looking for the family circle to be made up. Past …?... for those that have gone now, it’s too late. Bro. Branham said about that woman that fun, too late to pray. She should have prayed before. So, Lord, we’ve got living ones, we all have. We’re looking, O God, to see by grace, that family circle, remain there. We, and our children in the Millennium. And, Lord, if not in the Millennium, according to Your great will, where ever You place us, that will be fine. Because You’re the God who does all things well. How could we be critical? We cannot be Lord.

We only thank You for Your Word for tonight. And for Yourself above all, which is that Word reveals. We love You. And we praise Your great and Holy Name, and stand here in awe and admiration, in Your Presence. Let the God of all the world, be blessed. Sovereign, Great, and Mighty God, have Your way. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

[Communion service begins]

Okay, shall we rise at this time?

Gracious Heavenly Father, we stand here now, you lead the way. But maybe I’m just the one that's convenient to do this thing. We pray now Lord Jesus, that You will sanctify these emblems, Lord, unto a vigorous nourishing by the Holy Ghost in spiritual blessing we ask. So, Lord, we approach …we approach down through the Blood of Jesus Christ. We approach now Lord, as Your children, to eat and drink unto ourselves, the fulness of the merits of Calvary. O God, deliverance, from sin itself, and from …?... mental, physical, all of these things Lord, we stand here.

Father God, tonight, as here with life in these emblems, the life that the Word says here that we might partake, there is a life that went down, but came up, to give us the full assurance of faith, in which we stand and take it this moment. Knowing , Lord, that these emblems, as they come into our hands, into our mouths, for our bodies, the Holy Spirit Himself stands, behind him to do a work. Which though we cannot understand, will be done, and will manifest Itself in virtue of Christ Himself. Now Father, I've got to believe that. I've got to believe, Lord, I don’t believe there’s anything here that is said, that is overly simple, a ceremony, washing of pots and pans, …no. There’s a life, Present tonight. And I’m willing to feel It, imbibe in It, putting order into It. And You can believe that each one of these people tonight, in the glorious realization. And I thank You for that in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Blessed be the Lord God who gave us these emblems, the broken body, and Lord God You said, the shed Blood. And He said, eat, drink all of It, every single one. Come forward in your regular way. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we just praise and thank You for what has happened. We believe, O God, something is revealed by the Spirit of God has happened. And there will be a transforming, Lord, as we take this Word, into more spiritual depths of understanding Your Life. We sow for it, more in Christ, we believe that Lord, that we know there is nothing without significance. Father, this is not just a voice in the air, and Lord this has forgiveness. And we thank You for It. By Your grace Lord, we believe there’s forgiveness for any of us. It’s got to be healing, It’s got to be in the body, O God. Deliverance, O Christ, and why not? Because, by Your stripes, we have been healed. And the precious Blood of Jesus to redeem the earth, even bringing the earth back. Then, Lord God, how much more, that hung the first fruits, is redemption poured out by the Blood of Jesus Christ tonight. How we thank You for this, Father God, may It never cease from within our minds, right within our hearts. And in our eyes, become centered around It, and becomes It. We can see now, we have become a part of the service, that You’ll make It a part of great blessing, of great understanding promoting Your glory. Giving pre-eminence, out of the King of kings. Being careful to praise Your Name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Lord bless you. And now downstairs for the managers, focus on the beautiful and …?... wonderful gifts carefully and solemnly make your way to where the foot washing service is.
