I'm going to read the 10th chapter of the book of Hebrews. For the law, having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered here by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. Now, that's the subject. Perfection. Perfection. That's the subject. My brother Brandon preached on perfect faith. That was the subject. Perfect faith is when you have the vindicated word, you see it, you believe it, you're a part of it. That's it. See? All right. For then... would they not have ceased to offer? Because that the worshippers, once purged, would have had no more conscience of sin. Would have had no more conscience of sin. It would be consciousness too. But in those sacrifices, there's remembrance again made of sins every year.

For it's not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins. Wherefore, when he cometh into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offerings thou would not. But a body hast thou prepared me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come in the body of the book it is written to me to do thy will, O God. To do what? So that God could have pleasure. Which means the will of God would be perfected. The thing would be done.

Above when he said sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldst not neither have pleasure in therein which are offered by the law. Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He takes away the first thing they established, the second. Now, when God says a thing twice, you better believe it. He doesn't often say a thing twice, but he says it right here. And the word of the Bible tells you when a thing is said twice, you better believe it. It's a very desperate situation. By the witch's will, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once. And they got the word in there once for all, but it's not really that way. It's once. Period. And every priest and every priest standard daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which can never take away sin. But this man after he'd offered one sacrifice for sin forever sat down in the right hand of God. From henceforth expecting that his enemies he made his footstool. Now remember that goes right back to 1 Corinthians which we're looking at we have been looking at for many years. For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also witnessed to us For after that, he said before, this is the covenant that I'll make with them after those days, saith the Lord. I'll put my laws in their hearts and will write them, and in their minds will I write them. And their sins and iniquities I remember no more. Now a remission of these is there's no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus and by a new and living way which he hath consecrated for us through the veil, that's to say his flesh, and having a high priest over the house of God. Let us draw near with a true heart and full assurance of faith. And that's what Abraham had. It took him 25 years to get full assurance. He came to the place where this is it. And this is where you have the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. There's the full assurance of our faith. There's no more worrying. It's all there for us. Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. That's back in Ephesians, the fifth chapter. That's for the end time. Let us hold fast the confession of our faith, our waving, for he is faithful that promised. Now, what I'm looking at here is the fact that the believer could not be made perfect by the offerings, which were offerings of the bodies of bulls and goats and turtle doves. And those things were in the scripture said, without the shedding of blood, there's no remission of sin. But you notice here, it's talking then, there couldn't be perfection. The question then comes, whence cometh perfection? Where are we going to get this perfection? Where are we going to get something that sin has been dealt with once and for all? Forget it. Now remember that there's no such thing as anybody living a perfect sinless life. So just forget it. Brother Brandon said we backslide a thousand times a day, we sin a thousand times a day. And I'm not saying here... shall we sin more that grace may abound. The fact of the matter is, as long as we are in these bodies, we are tempted and tested and we fall. And the Bible said, though a righteous man falls seven times a day, the Lord will pick him up and set him on his way. There's no such thing as an earthly perfection of the flesh. There never has been. As I've said before, there's only one person ever lived it, and that is Jesus Christ the righteous, but we believe it. because that's where we go. Now, the thing is, where does perfection come from? So that the sin question is dealt with. Where does it come from? There's got to be something done because it says this doesn't work, but something has to work because as Brother Branham said, if God ever demands it, then God's got to provide a way for it. Now, that's sensible. It's simple as ABC. If your body demands sulfur, there's got to be sulfur somewhere to answer to it. That's why actually healing is available no matter what the disease is.

There's something there to help. You can't have a negative without a positive and a positive without a negative. So the question is, where is it? The answer is Jesus Christ's body. He died upon Calvary. He shed his blood. That's the Lamb of God that gave his life for the world. And remember, there's two worlds. There's the worlds of the godly. and the world of the ungodly. Remember, that's Peter tells you flat. The world of the ungodly perished, and the world of the godly stood right there, underwater, and the eight people in the ark. And they came back and populated. Unfortunately, the serpent seed was carried over. But that's okay. We've still got a problem today. But there's coming a day when that will never be. We're going to have new heavens and new earth, and only those in there will be the seed of God and the proper.
