We certainly praise the Lord this morning for his wonderful love toward us.

He has been very gracious to let us assemble ourselves together.

I believe there will come a time when we will not be able to do this.

The best we'll be able to do is to meet furtively amongst ourselves in different places.

It may come as it was in the days of the old covenanters.

It was death to visit amongst the saints.

But One night a young lady desired to go out and celebrate the Lord's Supper.

She knew it was death if they caught her doing this.

She went down the road. She was accosted by some soldiers.

And they said, where are you going?

So she could not tell them exactly what she wanted to do.

For she knew that they would take her to the court in prison and they would kill her.

But she was determined to obey the Lord's command. Which was to meet together and take the cup and the bread.

So she told the soldiers.

I go to celebrate the death of a friend.

They said pass on dear sister. We sympathize with you. Why is a serpent and harmless as dust? We have the mind of Christ. There will always be a way to show that now.

So we praise the Lord for his goodness. We can be happy we're here.

And when we cannot come, we'll still be happy.

For the joy of the Lord is our portion.

Just before we continue our studies, could we pray once more? Our grace is heavenly father.

Full of grace and mercy. By passing judgment.

And giving us grace. We now thank you for it. And enter into it. By the study of thy word. We believe Lord you will show to us this morning.

And make us to know the things we ought to know.

Because it's been taught by the prophet.

And it's been vindicated to us.

Accept our thanks therefore, O Lord.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Now yesterday we saw that Paul the Apostle taught the doctrine of election by example.

He taught the doctrine of election by example.

His illustration was Esau and Jacob.

He mentioned in Romans 9.

The children were not yet born.

So they haven't done any good or evil.

And there was no way to show their potential.

And nothing could be known about them humanly speaking.

So the parents could influence them or do anything at all about them.

So if anybody knew anything at all about them it had to be God.

And this was all done that the purpose of God would stand. And you'll notice it stood in election.

God chose one above the other before they were even born.

So therefore there was no attitude toward God in either child that made God take the one he took.

Now let's think of this in another light.

Supposing a man wants to marry a girl.

And there is absolutely nothing to see in her that would make him desire her.

It would be very difficult to choose her then for a wife.

This is the way it is humanly before God.

He sees nothing in the human being, humanly speaking.

But what does he see in that person?

He has to see something About them before they ever came into existence.

And that is exactly what the Bible teaches.

We were foreknown in him before the foundation of the world.

This is why the Bible teaches. That God could love Jacob.

and hate Esau. Now this word hate has been translated by many to mean love less.

So according to them it is written God loved Jacob and he loved Esau left.

I do not like that translation.

The word has been translated hate and I believe according to the context for that is how you must translate the word is well written as hate.

For God hates the wicked all the day long.

He loves the elect. And remember he is a father. And he is bringing children into this world by love.

So he loves Jacob.

Even before he is born. Because Jacob is foreknown.

And therefore will be called. And chosen. And predestinated.

To come into the glory of the Father.

Because this will show the Father's love.

But this is not so with Esau.

This is a vessel of disobedience.

And you will notice that he fashioned himself not according to the word of God but against the word of God. But Jacob loved the Lord.

And he loved the Lord and he loved the word so intensely that he was ready to die for it.

When there was a famine in the land and there was no meat and Esau couldn't find any food

He was very hungry. And he saw that Jacob had some food.

So he said to Jacob, give me some of this food that you have.

I want you to see the picture here.

So we'll have a little conversation between the boys.

So Jacob said to Esau, If I give you what I have, then I will starve.

So why should I give you what I have and starve in your stead?

Now you said I could give it to you.

And I would starve. And then later on you would starve.

If there's no more food. So there isn't too much to this life after all.

We had better look toward the future. Now you have got what I want concerning the future.

You have the birthright. Which is the promise unto Abraham. That we will inherit a city without foundation.

That is the foundation of this world. And it has another kind of a foundation. And its builder and maker is God.

Now, will you be willing to trade your birthright for this food? Then if I die I will have my future secured.

And I will be with God. And Esau said I don't think much of anything I can't see.

I don't know anything too much about the promises.

And if you'll make that kind of a bargain.

And you're willing to die. You can sure have it. And so he gave him the pot.

And he saw it.

But also did Jacob.

So you can see there was something in Jacob that God knew would be there from before the foundation of the world.

Then God saw that it would be there.

And you'll notice the response toward God.

Now also notice that according to Isaac there should be greater love of God toward Esau.

But there wasn't. But anyway Isaac showed greater love to Esau and wanted to do more for him.

And he longed to have Esau's heart toward God.

So Esau had a better opportunity even than Jacob did. And Esau loved his parents.

And except for his attitude toward God.

he was a very fine boy but in spite of Jacob's handicap which handicap he had by being younger and therefore would miss the birthright which wasn't just physical but entered into the eternal

Yet he wanted that.

And he got it. Now that's often the way it is right now.

Many people have a wonderful opportunity to love and serve God.

And they show wonderful spiritual capabilities.

But when God sends the light, they miss it.

And here's some poor old infidel.

Seeked in the literally idolatry. Sees the light. And goes right to God. Now, what did it? It wasn't something in the person. That is humanly speaking. But it was something from God.

That God saw would be there.

And God placed it there. It was that seed. It was part of the whole God. it was part of God himself that was in that soul and when that person heard the word of God it struck fire and the Holy Spirit came in Joined to that seed in there. And brought it to life. And produced Christ the eternal word in the person.

Now this is what election is all about.

It is by grace. And apart from man.

It is all of God. Even as the scripture said. Salvation is of the Lord. By grace are you saved through faith.

And that not of yourself. It is a gift of God. Absolutely freely given. That you didn't even ask for. And there was a time. That you didn't even want it. But he gave it to you anyway.

And you received it. Not because you wanted it. But that which he put within you. Did want it. Now we studied yesterday.

The various scriptures. Of which the main one was. Acts 13 and 48.

I'll quote it. As many as were ordained unto eternal life believed.

And nothing can be done about this verse.

There is no way to reinterpret it.

It stands out like a sore thumb in the midst of many hammers.

And it will not change. Only if you are ordained will you believe.

We now pass on to the second section which has to do with Christ's atonement and the elect. In other words, God's purchase or redemption of his fallen son.

Since salvation is utterly dependent upon God himself.

And he brings it forth in the election.

Then the efficacy of the cross or the power of the cross is actually only to the elect.

Who are the fallen sons. And when Jesus died upon Calvary.

He purchased the whole world.

Showing that he could now do as the father does.

That since he owns it all.

He can do what he wants to do with it.

It's a lot like the parable.

Where the man went out to hire laborers.

And in the first hour he hired some men for a penny.

And the second hour he hired some more for a penny.

And this went on until the 12th hour.

And he hired some more for a penny.

And the first people hired were kind of upset.

And they didn't like the idea.

That everybody got a penny.

And when they complained. The landlord said. He said I can do what I want with my own.

If I want to treat this fellow good.

I'll treat him good. But I don't want to treat this fellow so good.

I just won't treat him so good. I own it. so don't you ask as though you own it I'm not about to ask for your advice and if you give it all rejected I am a complete sovereign and I will only ask according to my own counsel and my own will And if anybody comes against it. I will come against them. That's just the way God is. Because nobody can tell him anything.

That's what's wrong with even praying.

Everybody wants to tell God what to do.

And how to do it. That's what's wrong with public prayer meetings.

People get together. And they pray one at a time. And they pray out loud. And women pray out loud. And the first thing they're not praying. And the first thing is they are not praying.

They're preaching a sermon. For they're driving an axe. Or they're trying to put their own will forward.

Or they're running somebody down. And they're piously praying. Piously praying.

And it's a cover up of a hypocrite.

If you've got something to say to somebody. Or about somebody. Don't do it in a prayer meeting. Go to the person. And tell him. That's why Brother Branham said public prayer meetings are not right. Go to your closet. Go to your closet and pray.

And if you're done together. Dig in that word. And then when you pray. Everybody pray together. Pray out loud if you so desire. And pray to God searching your heart. Don't worry about the beam in the other guy's eye.

Because you may have a greater beam in your own.

That wasn't in the sermon.

We'll pass the paper that later.

But

I hope you've learned a lesson.

It is too late in the day, my brother and my sister, to be penitent.

It's too late in the day to be children.

I learned this one lesson. And I'm glad I learned it. William Branham did not fool with little things.

He was not what they call in America a picky eunuch or picking over little things. What he said was important.

And he warned it. His own ministry was worn by God.

It's not the public display.

It's what's in the closet.

It's not the flaming words that men can say.

Because the angel of God told it. Your thoughts speak louder in heaven than your words on earth.

Now if I pray with the wrong motive.

To be heard. Or to throw off on somebody.

Or to look good. What does that mean? Now listen. Looking in the perfect word of God we soon see ourselves what we look like.

Do we look in the image of Christ?

Or do we look horrible in comparison?

Now I can speak out of my heart.

I do not stand here as your judge.

Or any authority. Or any better than you. Because I believe you are far better than I am.

I have never nor will I ever esteem myself as a fine person.

I know my heart only too well to be that foolish.

And I know what it is to be in public prayer.

To pray as a hypocrite. To pray to be heard.

To throw off on somebody.

To cause discord in the meeting.

But I quit doing all that.

Let us go to our club. Through your right spirit within.

Then come as a prophet taught.

Because he was not telling us something wrong.

He was telling us what was right. And he would vindicate. And we do not say about this wonderful message.

I will take this vindicated part. But I have my own ideas about this other part.

So to me it's not vindicated.

If one part is not vindicated then none is vindicated.

We must not be little children any longer.

This morning we're teaching on election.

This election doctrine shows us that we were a part of him before the foundation of the world.

We were in his very mind.

We are a part of that logos to be made flesh.

Then how can we manifest apart from that word.

And claim to be the logos of this hour.

Because the logos is made flesh now. For the logos is the word. And we are the word made flesh.

And one day this flesh will be made word.

So it will be complete word.

Then what manner of people ought we to be?

We must make up our minds once and for all.

What the prophet said was true.

And what he said to do we must do it.

We have not yet come to the place of the seriousness.

One of these days we will. But it might be too late for some. Because when the squeeze comes down do you think for a moment we'll act differently?

it is quite possible we'll act worse.

For Jesus himself said, if they do this in the green tree,

what are they doing in the dry?

Let us seek to be one with this word.

Do not be fearful in obeying it.

Because heaven and earth will pass away. But this word will not pass away. Then if I stay with this word. Every condition must pass away.

But I will prevail. As the scripture says. I will live. I will not die.

Though I am counted sheep for the slaughter.

I am more than conqueror. Why? Because I'm one with the word. I am the word. And the word of the Lord endures forever.

We were already in him before the foundation.

We are a part of him. Brother Branham said this.

that the son of man in human flesh is the bride of every age.

Who was that son of man? He was that prophetic word made flesh.

Then we are the prophetic word made flesh. In this age. Then what will we show forth? We will show forth first of all. And our desire to know the word.

That will be our love. That will be our stimulation. That will be our wine that excites us.

This will be our romance in life. This will be our joy. Not some transitory emotion that leads us.

But the reality of eternal truth.

Not rejoicing in the light for a moment.

But being a part of that light.

Not walking in the glow of another person.

But the inner glow of ourselves.

Through Christ the word. Illuminating our way. And we in turn being a light in the way.

Isn't that the way Paul was? And he said I begotten you to Christ.

I have a terrible tragedy in my family.

My children look like me.

I thought they looked like my wife.

She's a very, very lovely woman. And at 60, she still looks lovely.

But the kids? Too bad.

Now I'm showing you something. We are children of God. We are also children of William Branham.

We have been begotten in the gospel to the seed that he carried.

He had no seed of his own. He was a eunuch.

So he was the chief of the braggart chamber.

and we are the bride and the keeper of the bridal chamber has one main job is to keep other seed away from the wives of the king and this is what he's done for he planted in you and me

The seed of the king himself.

So the shout of the king is in the camp.

And the joy of the Lord is in the camp. And the power of Christ is in the camp.

How else could it be? For we were in him. Then we must be like him. Because that's what the seed brings forth. After its own time.

Now my tragedy can be turned to joy.

In my own family. Because my children look like me.

That may be hard on them. But it's good for me. Because you can see they're my children.

So that's very happy. So is Christ. The world may not see it. As they would like to see it. But if we're the true genes of God.

We will show forth what God is. So the world will deny it. and they'll say you're dead all you talk about is the word you worship a man they'll criticize and they'll hate what they see and in turn they will hate what we see which is we saw Christ revealed in his word and we loved it but they said we can't take that kind of a man but you see our nature went toward him then if this is so then where is there a place for Laodicea which creeds endowment

Emotion. Or gifts under false anointing.

There's no place in that for the bride.

For brother Branham said. If you believe in sensations. And jumping up and down. And that's where your life is. And that's where your joy is. It is evident you are still in Laodicea.

And you're not in the new age. Where the move is on for the bride.

He said, I believe God has sent me to dress a bride.

Find me that woman who is of such character who will stand still to hear the word then wait in the waters of separation.

Until she's washed by the water, the word.

And still stands still. Until she's dressed in the word. Until she puts on the vesture of a bride. A bride does not dress.

No, a bride does not have a dress.

She has a vesture. And by the vesture she is invested.

You follow what I'm saying? I'll explain it to you. Many girls can stand up here.

And only a girl can be a bride.

And you can look at all of them. And they all look alike. But one has a special dress.

And it's not a dress, it's a vesture.

Because she is to be investured or placed in an office.

And it's this dress that puts her in the office.

And that's exactly what the prophet said. Or when the sword struck his hand.

He said it's the sword of the king.

It's the sword of the king. The king.

And there's only one due king. And that's God. So he cried out in prophecy. Bring on your holy vesture.

With the holy word of God standing by.

That's exactly 1 Corinthians 15.

For when corruptibility puts on incorruptibility.

That word is literally invest. To invest in office.

Or to actually place an office.

By reason of the vesture.

Of the special clothing. Which is an inner.

This was foreknown before the foundation of the world. This was our portion. This is what God wanted. And man fell. Man became one mass, one lump.

And God must now use the process of election

To bring forth those sons. But those sons are in sin. Their bodies are in debt.

Something must be done for them. What does he do? He brings forth Christ to die.

And we'll show by scripture that Christ died for the elect.

He died specifically for the bride.

And what he accomplished the bride now has in her possession.

And she is perfected by the blood of Jesus Christ.

And she cannot come into condemnation. For she has passed from death unto life.

She can never be lost. No man nor anything can pluck them out of the Father's hand.

Christ is her surety.

Then if Christ is sure, the bride is sure.

Let us see what his death accomplished.

And for whom it was accomplished.

Isaiah 53, verse 8, then 10 and 12. Isaiah 53, verse 8.

You will notice that it is for my people, not somebody else's.

Now remember, there's two kinds of people. Is that right? Two kinds of seed. We saw it last night.

God's seed. The devil's seed. Which the serpent sees. Then the people of God are God's people.

Verse 10, 11, and 12.

It says he shall see his seed.

And he shall prolong his days. On what condition?

That he died upon the cross.

How does his seed come back and come on earth?

By him sending his spirit upon his fallen sons.

So that he can bring them forth in a resurrection.

In the first resurrection. Now who are they? His seed. Who's his seed? The elect. Then for whom is the crucifixion?

The seed. Lemon draw. Read lemon.

The righteous servant shall justify many.

The word justify means to declare righteous.

The New Testament says God justifies the ungodly.

You and I were ungodly. But by the cross of Calvary.

God can now say you're righteous.

And you can answer back to God. Well, Lord, I'm not really righteous.

Because I know my heart. And I know what I do. And I know my wife. I know what she does. And I know the preacher. And I know what he does. I know everybody. And I know what they do.

And they are not righteous. And God says. Shut up. Every.

That means shut up.

God has spoken. God said I declare thee ungodly righteous.

Who are you to tell me what to say?

The Apostle Paul knew this. He knew he wasn't perfect. Except in Christ. And he said, who dares arraign me in God's court?

Who dares condemn me?

God says I am righteous. Now

who does God declare righteous?

Many. Not everybody. The many. Who are those many? The elect. Because he has become our righteousness. As the scripture says. Jehovah our righteousness. The mighty God is our righteousness.

We're righteous with his righteousness.

Verse 12.

We were transgressors. We broke the law. How could we help but break the law?

When a man steals, he doesn't become a thief. He steals because he is a thief.

We're born sinners. Fallen sons. Sheep that are not astray.

But the love of the Father.

Because he loved us. Like the prodigal son.

Who took his father's substance. The life that he gives us. And squandered it. yet he draws us back reinstates us gives us a new inheritance and treats us better than ever what a wonderful father I like a father like that I never had a father like that and I wasn't a father like that but I've got a father like that But I've got a father like that. For though a righteous man falls seven times.

The Lord will raise him up.

He bears the sins of many.

And he made intercession for those same people.

But not for the world. How could he intercede for certainty? How could he die for the animal? Even his death does not stop us from our bodies dying.

From the bodies dying. As the scripture says. The spirit is life because of righteousness.

But the body is dead because of sin.

We were born in sin. And the bodies will go to the grave.

But we shall not die. Because we have eternal life. And we go to a spirit body. And therein reside in paradise.

Until he comes. to us and send us back for our bodies that will come from the ground then we'll eat and drink and we'll enjoy the joy of the Lord and what a day that's going to be I long for it I cry for it I've always stood and nervous because I don't have it.

For I would love to be natural with you.

And have you natural with me. So there's nothing to hide.

There's nothing between us. Our lives are an open door. Our lives are transparent.

And we wouldn't take advantage of anybody. We wouldn't fear what anybody says.

We'd be just perfectly right.

That's the millennium.

We're coming to it. Hebrews 9. 25 to 28. I get excited about the Lord.

No, 25 to 28.

25 to

28.

But now he is revealed once at the end of time to take away the sin with his sacrifice.

And just as a man's blood once is of death, and thereafter they shall also be sacrificed by Christ after being sacrificed once to take away many sins, he once revealed himself

Paul tells us about the crucifixion. He mentions the great sacrifice of Jesus. And he agrees perfectly with Isaiah.

For in verse 28 he said that Christ suffered for the sins of many.

Now all men must die and all will go to a judgment unless the sacrifice of Christ avails.

For Jesus told us that if we believed on him according to what he did for us we would not come in the judgment so if we don't come in the judgment and the elect cannot be judged because the victory cannot be imputed to them but with other men it is not so then only for us Is the sacrifice of Christ truly efficacious?

We go to Hebrews 10 and 7. Hebrews 10 and 7.

He said, in the volume of the book it is written to me, to do thy will. In the volume of the book it is written to me. Okay. Now, Jesus performed the will of God.

Now, let us look in John 6 and 38.

Jesus said he came to do the will of God.

Paul says he did the will of God. And the will of God is found in verse 39 of chapter 6.

Yeah,

the verse 39.

Now what did Jesus come to do?

The will of God. What was the will of God? To die to a certain end for a certain reason.

All the children of God were lost. And God wanted so they wouldn't be lost. And the sacrifice of Jesus Christ availed for every lost one.

So we can see the atonement was limited.

It is not for everybody. It is for the elect. Let us also notice that the sacrifice and work of Christ who was God manifest in the flesh did not go beyond the purpose and plan of God for the elect.

In verse 36 of John 6

And he said, you've also seen me, but you don't believe.

And in verse 39, he tells them that his sacrifice of death will avail them nothing.

Because it is for the ones that were lost sons only.

Now remember he's talking to the same people. That he talked to in chapter 8.

That he called the children of the devil. So his sacrifice did not avail for them.

Now notice in verse 17 and 1. Chapter 17 and 1.

John 17. And in verse 2 also. Psalm 17. Yeah, 17th chapter. First verse. Verse 1. Verse 2.

Eternal life is given only to those that God gave him.

What did God give to Jesus?

Those sons of God. And Jesus died for them. Now notice in verse 6.

There again we see the elect.

Those that God gave Jesus.

Notice in verse 9.

These are the same people. Now let's read verse 24.

Now we notice something here. The entire purpose of Jesus.

And his entire ministry.

Was to one people and one people only. The fallen children of God. And if an atom all dies.

even so in Christ all will be alive so you can see the sacrifice of Christ and his ministry did not exceed the purpose of God which purpose was to bring many sons into glory

To show them forth a son.

And give them eternal inheritance.

Making them even the new Jerusalem.

The bride of Jesus Christ. Now let us know something else. When Christ became a curse.

Which he did when he hung upon the tree.

The sins of all men were not discharged or forgiven.

Or everybody would be free. And they would have to come in.

Now this is not right. Let us look in Isaiah 53 and 10.

Men Herren behagde och knuse ham, och han slog ham med syftom. När han fel brachte skyldoffret, skulle han se sed, leve länge. Och Herrens vilje hade främdang vid hans hånd. Now you'll notice he's speaking of himself.

He is not speaking of anyone else. These are the pre -destinated ones that were in Christ eternally.

Now let's see those same ones in Galatians 3, 10 -13. Galatians 3, 10 -13.

10th to 16th verse.

And that no one becomes righteous because God's promise is obvious. In the righteous faith he shall live. But the promise has nothing to do with faith. But he who does that shall live therein. Christ bought us free from the covenant of the promise. In that he became a covenant for us in their writing.

It says that cursed is everyone that hangs upon a tree.

So therefore Jesus was cursed for somebody.

But was he cursed for everybody?

This cannot be true. Notice what it says in Matthew 25, 41.

Who is he cursing? People. Mankind.

So therefore, when he died upon the cross, the curse was not removed from everybody.

But who is it removed from?

The seed. Now let us also notice the mediatorial priesthood of Christ does not avail for all. He is both mediator and interceptor.

As mediator he brings us to God. As intercessor he keeps us with God.

As intercessor nobody can get lost.

Now we read in Hebrews 9 and 24.

For our own sake. Christ is appearing for us.

We don't need to appear for ourselves. The entire job is up to him.

And we have nothing of ourselves to worry about. Now if you're not worried about Jesus.

Then you've got no worry about yourself.

It's just that simple. Is anybody worried about the Lord this morning?

You know, one poor preacher was.

He thought that people were treating Jesus so bad that Jesus was a failure. So he walked up and down the platform wringing his hands.

And he said, oh, poor Jesus. Poor Jesus. Poor Jesus. I feel sorry for him.

Would you like to have a preacher like that around you?

I'd feel very sorry for him.

And the devil would be so happy to have him.

He'd be laughing. with joy that a so -called messenger of God should put Christ so low and so help him. Listen, he's got a name above every name.

He's over all power and authority.

I don't feel sorry for him. I'm happy for him. I'm glad somebody made it. I'm glad a man could do it.

And I'm identified with him. And as long as he's made it. Then I've got it made.

Praise the Lord. Alright, Hebrews 7 and 25.

Wherefore, he says. He says that all would come unto him.

None of them he would cast out. Because he lived to make intercession. And there will be no failure.

No matter how far his grace is pressed.

He'll never fail. If you refuse to obey him.

As Brother Branham told in an illustration.

The girl did not serve God. So God warned her by almost killing her.

She still wouldn't clean up.

So again he brought her to death's door.

And she did clean up. She got right with God. And he took her. Brother Brown's own brother was in that category.

He loved his brother Howard.

His brother was called to preach.

But he wouldn't preach. He wanted to live for the world.

And he developed a very bad heart. But every time he had an attack.

All Brother Branham had to do.

Would just have to look in the door. And Howard had such great faith in his brother.

That he rose up. For one day brother Branham went hunting in Colorado.

And God spoke to Howard. And he said I'm taking you. He cleaned up his life. He arranged for his funeral.

His sister and brother said to him,

you'll be fine. We'll get Bill. And you'll get better. He said, don't bother.

I'm going. Told him what to do.

Had his black suit dry cleaned and ready.

They tried to get Brother Branham.

Couldn't reach him. And Howard died. He went to the Lord. God will lose none.

You may press him. And you may say, I'm going to get God mad at me.

But I want to tell you something from Romans 5.

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God. This is not your side. This is God's side. This is the king who had rebellious subjects.

Who wouldn't listen to him. Who fought against his will.

And he said I forgive you. I'm not mad anymore.

But they're very human. And we say Lord you must be mad.

You gotta be angry. He said no I'm not mad. You can't get me angry. The blood of Christ has made the way. Oh, wonderful love of God. Oh, perfect peace of Christ. Oh, what wonderful salvation. What eternal security. What massive hope.

And none shall perish through the blood of the covenant of Jesus.

John 17 and 9.

17 and 9. We just got time, we go back.

17 and 9. I pray for them, I pray not for the world.

All people say Jesus loves everybody. And he'll pray for everybody. That's a lie. He's not praying for anybody. He's praying for his own. He intercedes for his own. He is not the world's advocate. He is my advocate. Would you like a lawyer that took care of somebody else?

Were he supposed to be taking care of you? Would you look like some business advisor?

To advise you? At the same time as advising somebody that wants to get you and destroy you?

He's not the world's advocate. He is ours. Romans 8 and 33. Yeah.

Who shall enter the charge of God today?

This is a court of law.

And Paul says. Who dares bring me into court.

Because something is wrong with me. And charges me as though I am wrong.

Who dares lay a charge against God's elect.

It is God that justifies. How can you lay a charge when the man is righteous?

Let me illustrate it to you.

Here I am a bad fellow.

I'm a criminal. And I'm brought into court. And I get a lawyer.

And the lawyer is supposed to make me a good guy.

He's supposed to plead for me and get me off.

Or get the least sentence he can get for me.

And suddenly he goes before the judge.

On my behalf.

And he says, judge. Look at this man. He's a criminal. He's a crook. Don't you help him in this court.

Put him in prison. And the judge raises his hammer.

And he pounds the judge. He says shut up. Out of my court. I suspend you.

I take you to the bar of the lawyer's bar.

And you lose your license.

You ought to defend that man. You ought to help that man.

Do you think Jesus turns on us?

He's our defender. Brother Long's here. I believe his story. He had a lawyer. That sold him down the river.

Oh yeah.

Gave him dirt. Gave him bad. He's still paying for it.

What kind of a lawyer is that?

Paid to defend him.

Paid in wrong advice. He's still paying for it. Shame on that man. He should be put out of the association.

He should be made to pay for it. You know that's the law.

Have we got that kind of an advocate?

No. The judge says there is no case.

But I saw him do it. But I'm the judge. What I say goes.

There is no case. The law is suspended.

It's been put out of the way. For Christ has died. And the blood is speaking. The blood is speaking. Come my son.

Enter down the joy of that order.

Not because you're a wonderful man. But because of a wonderful Christ.

For the last couple of minutes.

Let us deal with how the spirit works with the elect.

We need only John 3 and 8 to prove it.

John 3 and 8. John 3 and 8. Now I'll read it right. I may read it first. The word in the Greek is numal. Pneuma, the word in Greek. And may be translated either wind or spirit.

But it must not be translated wind here.

Because this is the spirit. Now listen how it should be read.

The spirit breathes where he willeth.

And thou hearest his voice. But knowest not whence he cometh and whither he goeth.

In this manner is every one who is born of the Spirit.

In other words.

The spirit will call on whom he will.

You may call on him. But it doesn't mean that he will save you.

Brother Branham said. Many people want to be saved. But they cannot be saved. Why? Because the work of the spirit is sovereign.

He does what he wants to do. He goes where he wants to go. That's why he filled John the Baptist in his mother's womb.

That's why God filled Christ.

And not somebody else. Because he goes where he wants. And he does what he wants. He is sovereign. Now except the man be born of that spirit he is not quickened.

Only the spirit quickens. But that spirit is sovereign.

So he couldn't whoever he wants.

Notice it in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and verse 13.

The

2 and 13.

We see here that the Spirit goes only to those whom God has chosen.

Which means they were elected.

So the spirit of God goes to the feet.

And he quickens that feet. 1 Peter 1 and 2.

1 Peter 1 and 2. Elected according to the foreknowledge of God.

Who does the spirit stand to buy? Who does he separate under God?

Not the serpent please. And not somebody who wants to be separated.

But those whom God has already separated.

True foreknowledge. And election. And now by predestination. They are full of the Spirit. And marching on the glory. Notice in Galatians 3 and 26.

3 .26. We

should read 3 .26, 4 to 7, but we won't do it. Just tell them that. Tell them when they get home, read all of 3 .26 to chapter 4 and 7.

And then read all the way to the fourth chapter in verse seven. We're bound to read that.

Verse 7. In these verses you will notice that God gives his spirit to sons.

It does not say you become a son by the baptism with the Holy Ghost.

It says you get the baptism with the Holy Ghost because you are a son.

So there we are. There's your story of election.

God will quicken only the elect.

And only the elect will come forth in the first resurrection.

Now let us ask one little quick question.

Why did God specifically give you the Holy Ghost apart from the subject I've been talking on?

What is the evidence of the Holy Ghost?

Put them together. He gave you the Holy Spirit for this extra special reason that you may know the things of God.

This is true? Then who knows the things of God but the elect?

Then how do you know you're elect?

Because you have something. Because you spoke in tongues. Because you had a miracle. That can be produced by witch doctors.

And idolatry. And men controlled by the spirit of hell.

And the vain philosophies of men.

But there's only one group of people that stand with this word. Stand to your feet now. Come on you.

And those are the elect who stand with this word. Because they are sons. And they hear the eagle's screams. And they love the eagle's screams. And they are excited by the eagle's screams. And this is their life. This is their stimulation. The Lord bless you. Shall we pray. Under the king eternal.

Immoral. Invisible. Who is our God. And we are His. May Him be God. May Him be honored. Starting in this place. That we breathe every word. By a same dictated process. And rejoicing. And love our caller. And love our caller. And know that we will go all the way with him. Because he'll never fail. To him be praise. And honor and glory. In Jesus name. Amen and amen. Amen and amen. Amen and amen. The Lord bless you. I heard the bell. It's nice to be called by a hearer bell. But I'm waiting for the cupboards. For the waiting cupboards. I enjoy your Norwegian cooking. It's very good. It's wonderful. I think I'm going to like his better.
